The food was great! The service was top notch! Rita was so friendly and so helpful! We really enjoyed visiting with the manager also! Loved the after dinner drinks he bought for us! We will be back! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
The food was exquisite and moderately priced. Everything we had was delicious and exceeded expectations. The live music was entertaining but not distracting, and put the finishing touches on our romantic evening out.
Celebrated my dads 63rd birthday at Grouse Mountain Grill & it was WONDERFUL! Great food, lovely ambiance & not to mention the view was stunning (even though we were inside, you can’t beat the view out the window anywhere else)! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a special celebration place, I can’t wait to go back & visit again.
A group of friend’s enjoying a nice night out. Our dinner was amazing, especially the oysters & the pork chop!! Amazing and the service was impeccable.
Everything was perfect!! All the staff was super friendly and genuine throughout the entire evening! Everything we ordered was also perfectly cooked and so flavorful, especially the tater tots, meatballs, pork chop and gnocchi! Highly recommend, a must to go while here!!
Wonderful date night with my husband of 44 years!
Return trip because it was soooo good last time! Amazing tater tots and if you like walleye (or never tried it), this is the place to have it! Chef is from Minnesota and definitely understand how to make amazing fish! Steak was phenomenal. If you have any space left in your stomach, try and adult milkshake and/or carrot cake. Cannot go wrong with either or both!
Wonderful place for a great meal and wonderful service! The wine sommelier was very knowledgeable and suggested a very nice wine
The food was outstanding. We went for our 10th anniversary and were not disappointed. We had the tuna appetizer, corn soup and lobster appetizer and all were fantastic. We then shared the cod and it was the best we both have ever had. We both agreed that the food was top notch in both taste and presentation. Our only complaint was that the service was sub par. We waited an uncomfortable mount of time for our drink and even longer for our food, close to 40 minutes. We only saw our server a few times and he was rushed and hurried and often ran by in passing before we could ask anything tossing a plate of bread on our table and rushing off. This is an expensive dining experience but for once totally worth it.
Overall, we both will be back soon as the food was outstanding, however, we hope our server will have enough time for us on our next visit. Definitely did put a bit of a damper on our otherwise great evening.
Dana, I appreciate you letting us know about your experience here. I am so sorry the service you received was not up to normal Grouse Mountain Grill standards. I will speak to the staff and we will do better. This should never have happened. We are thrilled that you chose us to celebrate your 10th anniversary. Thank you so much! Again, thank you for letting us know your experience.
Fantastic anniversary dinner!
Amazing dining at Grouse mountain grill! We sat on the patio, and they had blankets and heaters to keep us warm. Scenery was lovely, matched only
Grouse Mountain has significantly upped their game. At a time when many restaurants are using COVID to cut back or cut corners, Grouse has stepped it up big time.
all four guests were extremely pleased with their meals. Two of us could not decide between the Halibut and the Ribeye so they simply split the entrees no fuss.
We had dined at Sweet Basil the week prior which has been Vail's standard for years and all four agreed that Grouse Mountain was way better than Sweet Basil for service, cocktails and Food.
Great Food, Service, Ambience and Great Staff!! Love this place!!❤️
Great location, great service, overpriced and average food
This is one of our go-to restaurants in Beaver Creek! It never disappoints. We love every thing about it. Our server last night, Rachael, was great as was her team of helpers. We were sad that because of CV the wonderful piano music that usually entertains diners was not present. Looking forward to when it returns. Looking forward to getting back to normal again but until then we thank you for another great meal.
I believe that Grouse Mountain Grill is the best restaurant in Beavercreek. You can not beat the service, presentation and quality of food! And trust me I am not an easy critic! Oh yes,I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Tyler the wonderful bartender.
Our best meal in the Vail/Beaver Creek area. Our waitress Rita was the best!
The restaurant food was not consistent. Last time we could not stop raving about it, this time, some food excellent, some only fair.
Upon checking in, Hostess was a bit rude and moody. Restaurant was mostly empty & she tried to seat us at the 'worst' table in the restaurant ( we were the 1st 3 girls to show up). Needless to say, we requested a different table and we were made to wait 15 minutes while they 'set it up.' Upon finally being seated, that table was available the entire time, as we had 'scanned' the area when we were initially brought into the room.
Waiter either had too many tables or not sure what??
Anyway....will try it again, but only one last chance. Too expensive to have mediocre service and food.
Very elegant old world ambiance with excellent food and wine.
Wonderful overall experience. Best halibut and perfect martini. Staff friendly and engaging. Enjoyed our evening so much, we went back a few days later.
There is a reason both Beaver Creek residents and resort guests love this restaurant year in and year out! Great food, great service and terrific ambience! Five Stars!
Elliott is a great Server. Our food was outstanding.
Consistently, Grouse Mountain is one of the finest and best restaurants in the Vail Valley..
Great spot with Mountain View. Great service. Food nice but not great. Definitely recommend as an experience.
Terrific service / knowledge from Rachel. Enjoyed dining in the fresh air. Wonderful food and very attentive staff. Highly recommend
Excellent food and service. Ask for a table outside or with a view. Wonderful place to celebrate something special. Best meal we’ve had on our trip.
Overall a very nice restaurant. Good service. Good food.
Wonderful cocktails, meal and service!
This place is the finest evening dining in the Beaver Creek/ Vail area. Superb cuisine, ambiance, service and value. Try it once and you will return over and over again.
This was the best dinner we had while visiting Vail with our 2 daughters, ages 10 and 12.
So good that we had to go back three days later to try it again. Best possible service. Staff is professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Our choices have been the CAB ribeye, Ritz covered walleye, Scottish salmon, and halibut. All were cooked to perfection with a generous portion. Very extensive wine list from both smaller vineyards and best-known around the world. Great for a special occasion (ask to sit outside) and can be family friendly. In short - go there if you have time!
Beautiful location and excellent food. Our server disappeared for long stretches, extending our stay well beyond that if other guests.
We had the best experience ever at Grouse Mountain. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary and the entire staff went out of their way to make sure we had an always-to-remember evening. We were greeted with champagne, and warmth from everyone. Food was fantastic, but that's to be expected. What was so memorable and different was how special they made us feel, from the busers, to waiters, to the piano player. Thank you all.
Lovely restaurant. Sitting onl the Balcony was beautiful, but when it got dark it got cold. Luckily, they gave me an airline blanket which kept me warm. I started with the Caesar salad. It was a bowl of lettuce with parm and a few croutons. Tasted fine but for $16 it was disappointing.
For dinner I had the Osso Bucco. It was delicious. I saved the bone marrow for last. I scooped it out of the shank bone with a tiny little spoon, which was a nice touch. It was a little bite of heaven!
The service was ok. It was difficult to get my server’s attention at times and while my salad came out immediately, I waited a long time for my dinner. It could be due to social distancing which could mean a smaller kitchen staff. So I can’t fault them too much.
Basically it was a beautiful restaurant with great food and good service. I might have sounded too critical, but they did have a few rough edges.
We enjoyed the ambience and a night away from the kids. We had high hopes as we are foodies. Cocktails and appetizers hit the spot. Ordered fish and it came to the table overcooked. Kitchen staff was defensive when we sent it back. The next one they brought out was raw in the center. Sent that back too and skipped out on fish. Desserts were great! Especially the Ramos gin fizz we had with our desserts.
Such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The service, the food and the ambience are outstanding. Everyone we have ever recommended it to has thanked us
Upon arriving( on time), found out the table we had reserved outside had been given away. A big deal when you chose the restaurant for the Mountain View. When you’re dropping $600 on dinner, not okay. That’s Olive Garden stuff. Server was slow and not pleasant.
