We were a party of 4, we ordered drinks, several appetizers, and a couple of entrees, and split everything. We ate every bite of food. It was hard to pick a favorite.
We will definitely be back!!
Our waitress, Sarah, was the best! We sat by the “stage” that they have upstairs due to the downstairs being closed for our visit. However, the sweet hostess brought us down to look at the grotto which was very cool. The ambiance of this place makes you feel like you are anywhere but a small town in Arkansas. We ordered the au jus sliders, peppercorn crusted goat cheese, sirloin, horseradish baked potatoes, and the bread pudding. My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried! Our waitress also recommended a great port wine at the end of our meal to top the night off. This place is special and we will be making the drive back with some friends!
Great food, excellent service and amazing drink selections!
Food and service was outstanding. We refer people there constantly.
Heater broken so had to relocate not their fault but not the romantic atmosphere. Service was fantastic. Salmon undercooked. Everything else was good. Did give up complimentary dessert
Staff is super friendly and diligent. Food was timely and delicious. Atmosphere is top-notch!!
The food here is very good. We both ordered two different steaks, one more rare than the other and they came to the table correct. We love their wine and spirits and the dessert is great at the end of the meal.
We had a great first time experience at The Grotto. Robby was a great server. Very quiet and romantic and of course delicious food!
Great food but really cold next to the window - just to clarify is was 18 degrees outside
Everything was awesome. Food and service were exceptional.
January 1, 2022 dinner date. ❤️
The mushroom Brie soup is to die for! And, as always, the salmon was delicious and my husband’s steak was cooked perfectly.
Great little place in Downtown Eureka Springs! The food and wine were great.
Wonderful experience with my wife for her birthday. Food was great as usual.
The food was incredible and the service impeccable!
We enjoy the unique atmosphere with the Spring - really makes you feel like you are in Eureka.
Most importantly - the food was excellent. My daughter ordered duck: it was her first time to eat duck and it was delicious. I went light with tenderloin sliders (perfect) and my husband's enjoyed his salmon. All three of us agreed we would re-order our selections. In past I have also had the Pork Chops sous vide and they were outstanding.
This was our third time to The Grotto, in our third visit to Eureka, so a testament to how much we enjoy this restaurant.
We went here for our anniversary dinner and were very pleased. Great atmosphere with the native cave rock and running spring water. Friendly and attentive hostess and waiter. And the food was great. My wife had the smoked duck breast and acorn squash, both of which were done to perfection. I had the pork chop and fries. I thought the outside of the chop was slightly charred, but the seasonings were great and the inside was tender and juicy. The fries were excellent too. We would definitely come here again.
Food was delicious! Service was amazing! Sarah took great care of us. Great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a nice dining experience.
We froze to death, no heat what so ever. The food was not what we had been hyped up to eat. Our waiter was so slow.
Absolutely delicious food, wonderful service, and beautiful ambience.
Perfect all the way around! Our sever, Sarah, was so great! Food was unbelievable, and fantastic ambiance! We had the Creekstone Sliders, Mac & Cheese, & asparagus and all had an amazing flavor! I wanted to go back our second night we were there and my husband wanted to try something else, a decision we both regret! :)
We had reservations but arrived early and were able to be seated immediately. The staff was excellent and very personable. They recommended dishes and drinks. Everything was excellent, hands down the best meal we had during our stay.
I made a reservation and even called the location to inform them it was our 20th anniversary. I asked for a romantic table near the wine cave. What we got was the table directly behind the hostess desk where we could literally see her hair hanging over when she leaned back and every conversation she was having. When I mentioned it that I had called in and asked for a certain table, I was told well they have been married 40 years and if you can eat and be out of here in 40 minutes you can have it.
Food is decent but not worth the money based on their customer service.
They did move us to another table on the staircase so anyone going upstairs walked past us.
Wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion!
Wonderful ambiance. Sat by cave wall with candles so intimate setting. We had the gulf shrimp small plate and the shrimp were seasoned & grilled to perfection. Shared the filet & salmon and both were wonderful. Melt in your mouth filet. Wine soaked mushrooms were also tasty and I usually do not like them. You cannot go wrong with this restaurant. Very professional service.
This is one of our favorite places to eat while visiting Eureka Springs !!
Great food in a cool location. Really like the Grotto inside the building.
This restaurant is one of our favorites - great food, knowledgable and friendly service, and a fantastic atmosphere. We visit Eureka Springs four times a year and enjoy dining at Grotto every visit.
Grotto Wood Fired Grill & Wine Cave is a wonderful delight! As soon as you walk in you know that you are going to really enjoy your meal. The sitting is very much the feel in being in a cave. The staff is very friendly and thorough. Wonderful selection of wines and spirits. Both the seat and teh salmon were superb, as were the side dishes. The smoked corn was unbelievable. When in Eureka Springs this is a must stop for dining.
An outstanding place to dine. This place never disappoints! If you go to Eureka Springs, you need to go to the Grotto
Great food & drinks as usual
Absolutely wonderful 😃 We learned of this restaurant by way of a host referral. May not have found it otherwise. It was one of the the best upscale cozy dining experience with well presented and delicious food. Definitely will return👍🏻👍🏻
Small portions for price. Steak was overcooked. Charred and that was only thing I could taste on the steak. A baked potato should have butter and sour cream, not yogurt.
I reserved a table for my birthday almost 2 weeks in advance…. They stuck us (2) in the middle of the restaurant floor in front of the bar!! Now… if you reserve a table for a special occasion… why would you stick them in the CENTER of the restaurant behind the hostess desk??!!!! I came in from St. Louis for my birthday- didn’t mss as me me feel real special!! The food was fabulous tho!!!
This was our second visit. Excellent food. Great service. Unique setting. Maybe a tad pricey but for that special night out....it's perfect.
We had an 8:30 reservation and were a few minutes early. There was a mob of people standing around the entrance, waiting. We were offered the opportunity to be taken up to the bar, which turned out to be cash only, and not related to the restaurant, except by a shared door. We were not warned it was cash only, but of course, they had an ATM, for a fee. By nearly half an hour past our reservation, we felt forgotten, so I trekked down to the hostess, who apologized and offered to seat us. We did get seated next to the grotto, which was nice, but not as special as I thought it would be, and right next to the bar. The room carries noise well, so with a full house, it was incredibly loud. The service was top notch, with just enough returns to the table to be helpful, but not annoying. Our ribeye and filet were perfect. I requested the mac and cheese, but they were out, so had to settle for a boring baked potato. The steaks, which is why we came, almost made up for all the things that made it less than perfect. This restaurant. By the way, is owned by the bbq spot called Sauced, in the less touristy part of town. Locals go there, and you should too, it was all around a perfect bbq joint.
Great place to get a nice dinner in Eureka Springs! Definitely recommend having a reservation! It’s the place to be.
We are from Ozark, MO and love the Grotto so much. We have dinner there once a month for date night.
Soup was incredible!!
We had a great dinner and the food was absolutely amazing.
