    The food was absolutely delicious unfortunately, 3/4 of the way through my meal I found a hair under my baked potato. I would’ve appreciated a night manager to come over and apologize to me but no one made any attempt to apologize. Once I saw the hair I was finished with dinner, loss of appetite, even though my Salmon and baked potato were delicious I just couldn’t eat any more of my dinner.

    The quail appetizer was divine! I enjoyed the filet and my significant other had the salmon. Both were perfect. We had the chocolate mousse for dessert and it was 10/10!

    We LOVE the Grotto… their wood plank grilling is SO good! I had the filet mignon & they were able to make it well-done per my request w:o sacrificing flavor. Husband had the pork chop which was thick & DELICIOUS (his words). The Mac & cheese was probably my favorite part though. ;) Very thankful we had reservations.

    This place was awesome! It is always hard getting a reservation especially during the warmer months (I recommend making a reservation at least a week in advance.) My Mom and I come to Eureka Springs several times a year but sometimes our trips are planned last minute. However, we lucked out and someone cancelled. The ambiance is great - the restaurant is built against a hill/bluff and the natural side of it is exposed inside...giving the "cave" feeling. Food was amazing - I wish we could've tried more on the menu, but we just couldn't fit all the food it LOL. No matter what you like, there's something for everyone from steak to fish options. Service was also awesome - our server was professional, fun, and knowledgeable. This place is a MUST DO when coming to Eureka Springs, and by far my favorite place for dinner.

    Food was exceptional! Rhonda our server was AMAZING! Only thing that could have been better would a slightly larger table for the 2 seaters. Definitely a 5 star experience!!!

    This is one of our favorite restaurants when visiting Eureka Springs. It is in the historic downtown area. We love the old stone walls and wood floors, and the small grotto spring adds to the unique atmosphere. It is a small restaurant, so making a reservation is best. Our reservation was for 5 pm (the time they open) and there was a line outside waiting when we arrived. We opted to do shared a dinner of small plates and drinks this visit . They have a nice selection of small plates. We enjoyed the charred greens salad (not a fussy salad, but one of the best we’ve experienced), wood fired clams (the broth is amazing), Creekstone sliders (pleasantly surprised by the amount of tender beef filet mignon piled on the buns), and the baked acorn squash seasoned with cinnamon and drizzled with maple syrup (a tasty side dish that passes for dessert in my book!). The food was very good with a nice presentation. We would definitely order any of those again! In the past we have ordered and loved the quail poppers, but wanted to try some of their other offerings. Other memorable meals in the past included their filet mignon, wood-fired salmon and a lamb dish. We have not yet had anything that was not delicious. The service was quick and attentive, but not overly so. Did not feel rushed as we ordered just two dishes to start, then added the sliders and squash later. If you are in the area, definitely give the Grotto a try.

    Well, this was an amazing find. It’s a quaint romantic restaurant tucked into downtown Eureka Springs that has incredible food. We shared everything, from the mushroom Brie soup, to the filet that was perfectly cooked, with the acorn squash and mushroom side dishes. All were perfection! Topped it off with one of the best (and biggest) creme brûlées we’ve ever had! Service provided by Shannon was also wonderful. Can’t wait to come back!

    So, the table we set at is up at the stairwell landing, you know one of those places, “hey let’s cram a table there spots”! So one diner gets to view the entire restaurant , while the other diner is viewing stairs. It’s so dimly lit, had to use phone light to see menu. Food was fair. Pork chop overly salty and the butternut squash was good, just looked overly charred. Shrimp was slightly over cooked, but Mac & Cheese was great. Service was pathetic , maybe due to where we set, “out of site out of mine instances”, really surprised due to all the remarks of a great place. Done it, won’t be back.

    We were disappointed. First time we ate there it was outstanding. Steak was overcooked and grissle in it. Dr disappointed in baked potato. Previously the butter garlic was outstanding. This time it was melted and not he same even though waitress insisted it was just melted

    Service and ambience great - food not very good. The Duck was overcooked, dry and tasteless unless dunked in meager sauce. Lamb Ribeye was extremely fatty with small portions of actual meat. The fries however were excellent as was the acorn squash that were part of the entrees. Overall disappointing as we had previously been there with excellent steaks,

    Our entire experience was wonderful. We had a fabulous waitress. She had great suggestions of what to order and was very accommodating. The food and wine were outstanding. We will definitely return the next time we're in town.

    I made a reservation months in advance and asked to be seated downstairs. We were in Eureka Springs celebrating our 40th anniversary, which I mentioned it in our reservation. First of all, it is very hard to find a parking place. We were seated immediately, our table was by the grotto, but inside where the bar was located. So, it was not private nor special. The hostess brought water to our table. We waited about 10 minutes and did not see a waiter. My husband had to ask another waiter to find us a waiter, which tainted the evening. Our waitress was sweet and helpful. The menu is al la carte. I ordered the salmon and grilled asparagus. Waitress said sauces come with it and pointed out the sauces, including the crab sauce. (We were charged $8 more for this "included sauce"). Salmon was excellent, asparagus tough. My husband ordered the filet and a potato. The filet was seasoned well but tough for a $48 steak. The horseradish and yogurt on the potato were not very good. The potato would be better with just sour cream and butter. All in all, it was a good meal but pricey. We expected to pay more but expected more for paying more. Our anniversary was not acknowledged either. Why ask if you have a special occasion. If you don't acknowledge the occasion?

    Super cool location as inside of restaurant had the rock wall/water. Food was just “okay”. For the price, was expecting more flavor. Brussel sprouts were burned. Best part of dinner was the Mac and Cheese (sadly).
