Wonderful place to eat
Outstanding food and service. Good Covid awareness and procedures
We ordered the sirloin steak with horseradish yogurt sauce, delicious! Also the porkchop. For dessert we had the salted caramel cake, also a winner. I would definitely recommend this place while visiting Eureka Springs.
If you are anywhere near Eureka Springs, GROTTO is a must see for a unique experience while dining. It’s the second time I’ve been there with my husband and both times were incredible! You hear people talk but it was never loud. You’re eating next to a cave with low lighting. You can taste the difference in your wood fired food. You can make a reservation online (I suggest doing so). Check out their website that shows pictures of the place but there’s nothing like it once you go inside. Concerned about COVID? Staff wear masks and gloves, washing hands frequently and using hand sanitizer. There is space between you and other guests (therefore make a reservation). Enjoy! My husband and I have twice and we are from Kansas City, MO.
The food and service at the Grotto has always been great, very professional, really good food.
The rib eye was incredible and so was the red sangria! The only disappointment was the special drink request was not made properly, not good at all and the dessert was way over priced.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Grotto. The Quail poppers appetizer was fantastic. The service was great and the ambience was wonderful.
Excellent food and service
Great as always, one of the main reasons we come to Eureka Springs.
To give them credit, we visited during Covid stage 2 reopening. The atmosphere was disappointing.. seemed a little too contrived. Wait staff was awesome! Food leaned heavy toward smoked flavors which was my taste turn off. Best thing on my plate was the side: the crimini mushrooms! Perect. The portabello, although described deliciously, was way too balsamic vinergry and the awesome waiter took it off my ticket as it was inedible.. my friend and I enjoyed the cjarred romaine and and she loved the generous portion of a smoky porkchop. The outstanding appetizer for myself was what the waiter called “the polarizer”, the bone marrow. Served however without a correct marrow spoon, it was difficult to obtain, but delicious and so satisfying served on toast points!
The food was top of the line, the service was spectacular, and the atmosphere was perfect. We are definitely returning to this amazing restaurant.
Wonderful meal. Quail poppers were moist and delicious. Rib eye cooked perfectly and great quality. Salmon very well cooked and wonderful. Nice wine menu and great atmosphere.
Overall we had a great dinner and time. The waiter did suggest the special. That being said when telling us of the special there was never a price given. We were there for a birthday so it didn’t matter but to some it might. Only other thing was they sat us right next to another table of people. With everything going on we would have liked to have been a little farther from others. We followed the mask rules but other were allowed to not completely follow them.
Incredible! The food and service were both amazing.
Everything was wonderful. The only thing that could have been a tiny bit different is having less fat on the steak! I ordered the Ribeye and it was about 40% fat.
Beautiful place with delicious good and friendly service.
My personal favorite restaurant in Eureka Springs. The filet mignon with baked potato is excellent. We went for our anniversary and it was a great experience!
We generally do multiple small plates becuse we like the variety. We have eaten all the small plate options. The dinner plates are excellent and filling. I have one every fourth or so visit as a change. The bar is well stocked and the burbon / whisky flights are fun and educational.
The menu was unique and fresh, the wine selection was great and our service was perfect.
My wife took me here for my birthday And I picked this place because I thought it would have a great ambience. They sat us at a table in front of the window which had absolutely had no ambiance at all. Super small table definitely not worth the price in my opinion. The food was really good and the service was friendly
We were celebrating 40 years of marriage and my husband said in all of our years together this was the best Steak he’d ever had and the baked potatoes were so good with the season butter Very good place to eat
Great filets, Brussels sprout (appetizer) were wonderful. Mac and cheese and baked potatoes really good. Started with a grotto sour (whiskey sour creation). I’d probably skip it.
Beautiful space with great service and great food.
Intimate yet relaxed feel, comfortable sophistication. Amazing food, outstanding service, our favorite spot to dine in Eureka Springs.
Amazing service and friendly staff! Came here for my friends bachelorette dinner and I asked them to do something special. They left a note on the table for her and wrote a message on her dessert plate! Everyone was so nice and the food was incredible.
Husband and I went here for a date night and it was wonderful. Food, drinks and service was absolutely wonderful. I had the salmon and my husband had the steak. They were both so good. The mixed corn medley was on fire! Would definitely recommend
A fantastic Anniversary dinner. Highly recommend!
The food was amazing and was a great amount for the price! It was gourmet! The host and servers were awesome! I highly recommend for a special occasion!!
The downstairs cave part was cool, but they seated us upstairs and it felt like we were dining in someone’s garage. The food was good.
The occasion was our 25th anniversary...
We were seated on the landing of the stairs at the rear of the restaurant..
While the view was great, the foot traffic made for a less than romantic atmosphere, as there was seemingly a fairly regular flow of people traversing through our bubble.
Our waiter was outstanding, as was the food produced by the kitchen...
We would absolutely visit again.. without a doubt!!
Monica was a superb server !!
Everything was excellent! Can’t wait to go back! The quail poppers were amazing, our steaks perfection, the sides were perfectly proportioned and desert, even though I’m rarely impressed... was delicious!
The restaurant is great, the service was great, but the steaks, not so much. We’ll be back, but we’ll go a different route for the main entree.
Phenomenal...nothing more to say!! Salmon was the best and the Mac & cheese was life changing!
Aside from being sat and not greeted for several minutes while watching others after us get seated and have immediate service, everything was great.
My wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary at the Grotto! We requested to set by the rocks and they accommodated us! The atmosphere was very good and our steak/salmon superb! Our waiter (Mike) was excellent! I had parking issues (normal for downtown Eureka Springs) but Mike helped us out. Will be back next time we're in Eureka Springs!
Great food! Outstanding ribeye and smoked duck. Service was very good as well.
The Grotto was fantastic! The food was absolutely wonderful and the service was great too! We were not disappointed!
Thank you Chef for a great meal!
Menu is so well done and the food is always on point delicious! The service is friendly and top notch. The restaurant is a beautifully decorated modern mountain rustic, complete with exposed Ozark mountain rock wall as the centerpiece of the dining room. One of the very best in Eureka!
We really enjoyed our dinner, I had salmon, my husband had steak and our 9 YO mac and cheese with shrimp (adventurous for her!) and we all enjoyed our meals very much. The quality of the seafood and steak was high, and the flavor was true to advertising (smoky yum). The ambiance of the place is good, the rock walls add a beautiful and natural element. We will definitely return on a repeat trip to Eureka Springs. Oh, and we tried a chocolate dessert that to me was French caliber - my highest honor as the French as so gifted with sweets. Dining out right now with all that is going on is different (e.g. sometimes more limited menus, limited seating) and they are making the best of it for sure. Thank you Grotto for a very relaxed night out! (with a 9 YO)
