Grissini Ristorante Italiano
Grissini's never misses, food, service, friendliness outstanding.
Took a friend there for their first visit, they loved it.
Fabio is a great waiter, Martin takes special care of everyone in the bar and beyond.
Can't wait for my next visit.
Very pleasant restaurant with tasty meals and a large choice of traditional italian plates , the service is very good and professional.
I would definately recommend it.
Consistently the best Italian food in the area , hands down. Owner is always present and the service is impeccable
Reminds me of the restaurants I grew up with back in the north end of Boston
Amazing place to eat, great food and very friendly staff.
Always love grissinis! Best Italian food around and service is impeccable
We LOVE this place!!!
Love this place!! We have been there 5 or 6 times now and every time have been fabulous. Best ceasar salad anywhere. Love the low carb linguini and this is the only place I have seen it. Also great were the veal chop, mushroom risotto and lasagna. Can't wait to go back again.
The host , who I suspect is the owner, greeted us cheerfully and continued to monitor every table all evening. The food was delicious and plentiful. There was a good selection of wines! I would return if we are ever back in the area.
Giuseppe Bellisari owner greets you warmly, seats you comfortably and then the magic begins! Great staff and food at fair prices. Can't wait to go again!
The first thing I noticed when I walked in the restaurant was how hot it was inside. I ordered a glass of Zin and it smelled and tasted like vinegar. I’m not a Sommelier, but I know what wines taste like when not properly stored. I sent the wine back and the (I’m assuming) owner came to my table and disagreed with me saying he both smelled and tasted the wine and that Zins are supposed to taste like that. I have over 100 bottles of wine in my 2-zone wine frig at home and if I had a wine that smelled and tasted like that Paso Robles Zin, I’d mix it with EVOO for a salad dressing.
Before going to dinner I had purchased an online discount ticket to use at dinner. This was the type of ticket that the restaurant would either scan or take down the ticket number. When we arrived we were told that we had to bring a printed ticket in order to receive the discount.
We were never told this in advance and I was surprised the owner could not make an accommodation and be more leaning toward customer service.
So we paid full price for a dinner that was mediocre.
Will return one more time with the printed discount ticket but will not return after. Too many Italian restaurants in the area with good customer care.
Best Caesar salad I’ve had. Puttanesca sauce was the best. Wonderful ambiance, service staff was great and the owner is right there making the dining experience exceptional.
Another great experience. Food is fabulous and the service can not be beat!
You can always expect a great meal with fabulous service every time you go to Grissini’s
Great ambiance and location.
Always excellent, best vodka sauce m home made pasta
Everything was great except loud phone ringing frequently at the hostess desk, and absence of hand soap in female bathroom.
I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good quality food!
Although I have lived in the Conejo for 25 years and have heard of Grissini many times , I had never gotten around to going until last saturday evening . Now , I will be back , for sure .
Very good food . Friendly service . Our waiter went the extra mile .
We love this place. Every time we are in the area, we make a reservation. It's all about the food and service. Food is really delicious. When I have leftover pasta here, I take it to go, put it in the fridge, and eat it the next day because this is how good their food is. They really use fresh ingredients and they cook alot with olive oil. I can tell because my pasta the day after is not hard as a rock with fat out of the fridge. You will see the olive oil they used. You can toss the pasta on a plate with a fork right out of the fridge without microwaving. This is what I did with my fresh tricolor pasta with clams in white wine sauce the day after dining there. Their Limoncelo seals the deal for the night. If you're a healthy eater, you will still find options because they have an extensive menu and their fresh pastas are my favorite.
The entire dining experience from the moment I walked in the door was exceptional. The level of care and consideration to special requests was beyond normal and they we so willing to make any accommodations necessary to provide a comfortable environment for our evening out. This restaurant offers excellent food, great wine and amazing desserts. it is a restaurant I will frequent often.
We love this restaurant and the food is amazing each and every time!!!!
The food, the décor, the atmosphere were all fantastic. My only complaint: it was a really dark. Everybody took out their cell phones in order to read the menue. Just a tad more light would have been helpful.
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner on Saturday. The food is Traditional Italian and the wine is fabulous from local and European. Specials are alway great to try and the menu is diverse offering many types of sauces and fresh pasta's, as well as, fish, veal and beef dishes. An absolute most to dine here. They have been in Agoura for many years and the price is moderate. Enjoy!!!
We went there for my Birthday. The entire experience was incredible!!! Absolutely love this place and highly recommend it!!!! It is now our “regular” place! Would not change a thing. Just fantastic!
Everything was great as usual.
Not as good as I'm used to, The waiter seemed rushed. After ordering water and beer - he never asked if there was a bar order. he just walked away. Rather than try to get him, two of us drank water. Ceasar was tart. Special fish was good, not great.
Grissini has a very good menu selection with great food. However, I think that the best part of our experience with the customer service. It was just stellar!
We had a booth by the window which was very nice. However, the staff rolled out a very large table for a big party so close to us, staff and costumers had to literally squeeze around us. Not good !!!
Perhaps Saturday night is not the night to enjoy this sweet Italian restaurant.
Absolutely wonderful dinning experience. This was our second time here and this place is becoming our favorite Italian restaurant. My girlfriend is gluten free and they have all the options for her. The food is amazing and extremely fresh and delicious. If you have not tried this place out, do so ASAP. You will not be disappointed.
Grissini has a distinctive authentic Italian ambiance from the moment you approach the location and hear music of Italy mixed with American standards. The head waiter is Italian as well as the owner. Both are there every night to ensure your experience is what you anticipate. Dinner party was 4 and each dish we had was superbly prepared from portion size, taste and presentation. One of the diners had eggplant parmigiana, which is old world home style and delicious. I had the salmon which is fresh, flaky and seasoned to perfection. Another diner had a salad served in a bread bowl (not like a sourdough bowl, more like a pita); again ample portion well dressed and delicious. Final guest built her own pasta which was cooked to al dente with a delicious sauce. We also had a appetizer of assorted meats and veggies which was a perfect start. We did not order any wine and the list is extensive. This is a dining experience so please to expect to rush through your time here. Enjoy the music, old world charm and fine food.
We discovered Grissini a couple of years ago and it's our go to Italian restaurant in the Conejo Valley. We are met by the owner, welcomed in and served quality Italian food. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.
Amazing food and amazing service. It was a really special night for my girlfriend and her cousin. They needed something to remind them of home and Grissini delivered beautifully
We have been to Grissini many times before and we are never disappointed. This time we brought friends who have never eaten here before and loved everything.
Love this place, but for some reason on Mother's Day it just seemed to take ridiculously long to get served. Took about 15 minutes after being seated to order our appetizer. Finally, when we had finished that, we were asked about our entrees. Must've been another 30 minutes to receive those, and there was an error with one - which they were incredibly gracious about rectifying. Then more waiting for the dessert. It wasn't because this was Mother's Day, though. What I realized as we left was that the tables to either side of us were seated, served and departed twice in the same time we we there. Took us almost 2 1/2 hours. Everyone was wonderful. The food was spectacular. Not sure if it was the server (I did sit with an empty wine glass for about 10 minutes, while waiting for the entree, until I was asked if I'd like another) or some other issue. Nothing unusual we ordered (1 appetizer, 4 entrees, 2 desserts). Again, everyone was wonderful, food was excellent, atmosphere was perfect. We'll definitely return. Not sure why the timing glitch.
We enjoyed our meal very much! Our way waiter was amazing and the food was delicious!
Lived in Agours hills area for many years and never dined at grissini. Here for a visit and decided to try... wow fabulous! Had one of the best pieces of salmon I’ve ever had! Salad was great. Wonderful cocktail that wasn’t all sugar and had alcohol in it! Will be back on our next visit
Great food. Great atmosphere. Their Fruitti de Mare was outstanding. And homemade pastas were a nice touch.
Dinner was very good, service excellent. Prices were fair except for the beet salad which at $16 was a little pricy for the serving size. Dessert of chocolate over ice cream was exceptional.
