Grissini Ristorante Italiano Ratings and Reviews
We went with friends and all of us liked the restaurant very much. The only real issue was that it’s way too dark. You HAD to use your phone to read the menu. I don’t mind dim lighting but his was too dark. It’s also was a little loud. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
The best part was our very friendly, knowledgeable waiter.
Unfortunately the chicken dish I ordered had chicken breast that was very difficult to cut into
(usually chicken breasts are very tender). My husband ordered prawns over pasta and he struggled to remove the prawns from the shell! He had to work hard to get a few small pieces out. We will not be returning to Grissini!
A great Christmas Eve dinner. Outstanding service. Our food was delicious. If I could make one little suggestion... I had the bolognase sauce and while it was very good, it was a bit on the skimpy side. Just a tad more sauce would have made this dish better.
Staying on vacation at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, I was excited to try what seemed like an authentic, cozy locally-run Italian restaurant earlier this week. It was a great decision and decided to return for a second visit. First of all, the menu is one of the best I have seen with the entire create your own pasta section. The egg-drop style soup with spinach in chicken broth, carbonara, and chocolate mousse dessert were all tasty. Lastly, the service was outstanding and restaurant decorated beautifully for the holidays. I will definitely return in the future if in this area on my next vacation.

First of all, the menu is one of the best I have seen with the entire create your own pasta section. Since the restaurant was out of pancetta on this particular evening, I switched from carbonara to alfredo and it was delicious. Also, the fried cheese appetizer, egg-drop soup with spinach in chicken broth, and chocolate mousse dessert were all tasty. We hadn’t been here in a while, were in the area and craving Italian so stopped in. I had the sole with spinach instead of mashed potatoes. Excellent! I think it’s my favorite dish on the menu. My boyfriend had the create your own pasta w/ the tricolor spaghetti and meat sauce w/ a couple a meatballs too. He liked it and said it was good. We started w/ the onion soup-really good.
It was a lovely dinner out with my husband and 2 middle school aged children. The kids had penne pasta with butter and Parmesan (the waiter didn't bat an eye) while the adults enjoyed veal parmesan and the lobster bisque. Something for everyone! and it was all delicious.
Charming! We celebrated an anniversary. My husband's gnocchi dish with truffle sauce was to die for. My swordfish was pretty good, a little on the dry side, flavor of sauce was very good. Salads were yummy. Service was exceptional. Quiet and romantic, we truly appreciated the privacy of our booth and quiet atmosphere.
Thank you once again for an amazing dinner at our favorite restaurant.
The Salmon was fresh on a plank with fabulous Roasted potatoes. Every thing delicious. My Husband has Salmon with pasta and arugula.
Our waiter Patrick made our evening complete.
We look forward to joining you for dinner later this month:
Totally overpriced Italian restaurant. I ordered the dinner special, black linguini with grilled prawns. The waiter didn't mention that this is a spicy entree. I wasn't able to enjoy my dinner. Should I've known ahead that it will be spicy then I should not have ordered it. The waiter asked me why I didn't finish my dinner, I told him it's too spicy. He just smiled and said "oh!" and left. I was waiting for him to come back and offer some apology or explanation but to no avail.
Bad experience. Never again.
Best value Italian restaurant in the area. Staff is experienced and professional, full bar, great wine list. Food is authentic and freshly prepared--from pizza to pasta to veal chops! Lovely ambiance for quiet evening with hubby or friends. Also they are very accommodating for large groups for a birthday or anniversary.
