Valentine's Day dinner. Did was very good, but the service was a bit slow. Don't think they were staffed for a full restaurant.

Our group had dinner here before a concert at Genesee Theater. It was a fun get together and the food was very good. Our server was very pleasant, but seemed to be stretched as it took a while between stops. Overall a nice experience and I would recommend it.

Sadly, this was not the experience that we expected. The server was inattentive and twice messed up the drink order. Worse was the food which was awful. The order for filet mignon oscar was terrible and expensive. The steak was fatty and full of gristle. The crab was fishy and hollandaise sauce was bitter. The waitress breezed by to ask if everything was good, but did not wait for an answer. The other two meals were just okay. The bill totalled over $150.00 and not worth the cost. We will not go back and do not recommend.

Not recommended for a large group like we had. Most people were done eating by the time the last 3 dishes were served :( Not all requests were honored (no sauce, extra cheese, etc) Most of group said their dishes were tasty but portions were a little small. Chicken was so overcooked, I could not bite it. Maybe that is why it came out last. It was probably forgotten. Wait staff was good with providing refills, etc and were friendly. Kitchen needs some improvement.

Service was slow, inattentive and unapologetic. We were given the lunch menu at dinner, not offered the wine list or told the specials, our water ran out and didn’t get filled until we tracked someone down. We were sitting for over an hour before we got our food; I ordered a salad with no cooked components and they didn’t even dress it! Others at my table reported mediocre food as well. Overall we were disappointed.

Enjoyed the food and wine. An appetizer ordered was not provided until we reminded the servers. Apparently the kitchen staff missed it.

The branzino special was delicious! My husbands rib eye was fine—a little too much sauce for his liking. Great greeting and fabulous service all around. This place is a hidden gem. It’s off our beaten path but we were very happy to be here tonight!

Grill No. 43, it it’s “no mans land” location may not having one expect much. However for an impromptu friends get together for a late dinner, it proved to be an ideal choice. Our server was simply lovely and kind. The specials were special, with rave reviews for both the steak and the risotto. Raves for the parmasean garlic fries. The interior atmosphere is quite appealing. Really a hidden gem.

Unfortunately on this occasion the food was below the usually high standard we have encountered in the past. Though still respectable, the salmon this evening was over cooked and the crab cake more full of filler than crab. Service was fine - attentive and respectful - though perhaps not quite as professional as in the past. We will assume this an off-night and return soon for another look.

Had our Anniversary there last year. Service was much better. Acknowledged our Anniversary which was in the notes on Open Table then and now. Last year got a wonderful dessert. Nothing this year. Food was pretty good but very slow. Will not do another anniversary or anything else again. Sad.

Viewed their menu online and went here because of it. When we got there, the menu was only a fraction of what they listed online. Very disappointed! Our server Erica was outstanding.

Specific experiences - arrived at five thirty no hostess for two mins. Neither my drink nor my water was ever refilled and no offer to be refilled. The “everything” salad had two bits of chicken, I know this sounds hard to believe and it was for me too and a deciding factor in writing this place off. The veal appetizer was terrible. The check included a house salad that I had changed my mind during ordering and never received. The time it took to get an appetizer, a salad, and the sole drink was two hours.

Place is quite noisy with swearing loud women at the bar on a Friday. so loud it was difficult to hear the specials. I have had previous decent experiences here but thinking about it now even the bread was lousy. This is my first time reviewing a restaurant anywhere that was so horrible I will not return.

Been at Grill on 43 a number of times, but tonight was not good, Steak and crab was embarrassing (business associate from out of town) small piece of meat like from Ponderosa and little scoop of crab cake, the jerk chicken was dry. My wife had the drunken shrimp and had no complaints

Brussel sprout salad with salmon was delicious. Too much oil was used, but otherwise absolutely fabulous.
Waitress did a terrific job with observing any potential issues and offering suggestions.
