We brought some friends visiting from out of town. Grill 66 never disappoints! Server was ver knowledgeable and pleasant. Everyone’s dinner was exceptional- Salmon, Scallops, Yellow Tail and Steak were delivered and cooked to perfection. Thank you for making our time with friends special

Terrible .. took over an hour for our order to be taken, another hour and a half to get it to the table. Very loud, we could not hear each other at the table. Water all over the floors.

We sat out on the terrace, it was nice and quiet unlike the dining room, Larry our server was excellent, cannot wait to return for an excellent meal

Ehh. This was our second time at Grille 66. Service was horrible. We didn’t receive menus until 35 minutes after we sat down and only after we had asked three people. Food was pretty good. Nothing to write home about and certainly way overpriced for what you get. The last time we were there it was sub-par and we thought it was a fluke and would be better the second time around. Nope. We’re done. Never going back. There are lots of great restaurants in South Florida. This is definitely not worth it.

We weren't seated for a 1/2 hr after our reservation time and only then bc we had to make mention of our extended wait. The hostess was less than professional. Our server was completely absent from our time there except to ask if we wanted dessert and then to bring our check after we declined. He never asked if our meal was acceptable or even checked to see if our meal arrived. Possibly a 'bad night'? Maybe, but a less than great experience.

Whenever I stay at Pier 66 I will have at least one dinner at the Grill. It is my go to spot in FL.

You wanna sit outside ?
Just give the hostess $20 dollars and screw everybody else ?

Beautiful classic waterfront restaurant, Art Deco, old world charm. Romantic.
Pricey but that's expected.
Lump crabmeat cocktail was delicious huge lumps of meat served with 2 sauces.
Oysters Rockefeller were served on a bed of sea salt, fresh spinach, perfect.
Large enough menu variety for both the seafood aficionado & Landlubber.
The entire meal was wonderful, I would definitely recommend for a special occasion.
Our waiter, Bill went above & beyond.

I had a reservation for 9:00pm and was still waiting to be seated by 9:30pm. However, the wait was very worth it because the food was unbelievably good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

My main issue was after ordering a grilled whole lobster, waited 45-50 minutes for the waiter to tell me they could not grill it because they were too busy and only steaks could be grilled. .. very annoying!! They should not overbook the restaurant since service and quality decrease making the experience forgettable!!!

Have been dining at Grille66 for many years. -
Desk help use to be nicer - policy of not seating 2 of a party of 4 until everyone is in restaurant is annoying. - usually told that they will not reserve outdoors and when asked for particular table they told us it was reserved .
Have never thought food outstanding - usually are going for the outdoor ambiance. Thought Valentines Day menu was a bit contrived with too many sauces
HAVE NOT HAD GOOD EXPERIENCES ON HOLIDAYS.

We dined at Grille 66 for Valentine’s Day. We had reservations for 6 people at 6:30 and got seated immediately. Half hour after being seated our son and girlfriend arrived without reservations. They joined us at our table for glass of wine while waiting for their own table. . After 15 min the waiter brought 2 more chairs and menus. Our meal had not yet arrived so they ordered right away and all 8 meals came at same time. Wait staff was very accommodating. The meals and wine were fabulous. There was a little difficulty getting the ticket all settled with correct amounts per couple but in end all was right. Beautiful evening. Thanks.

I've been there several times and the ambiance is impressive but this time the food didn't really impress me. I had the Veal Chop and it wasn't anything special. My girlfriend had Fish and she enjoyed it.

I was very disappointed this time. We went there for my husbands birthday and it was extremely loud and crowded. We shared our dinner. We ordered sea bass and 12 oz filet medium rare. Sea Bass was good. My cut of the filet was almost cooked well done. There was a little 'pink'. My husbands cut was a little more 'pink' (which is interesting since we were sharing the steak so it made us wonder if we received two different steaks), but not what you expect medium rare to look or taste like. We told the waiter who brought his boss over or we assume it was because he never was introduced to us and by his body language it was obvious we were putting him out and that taking the steak back would to much effort for him. We took it home for the dogs to eat. When I made reservations I was asked if we were celebrating anything I said "My husbands birthday". I requested a table with a view and quiet. We were seated where the wait staff go back and forth for glassware, so they were constantly squeezing behind where my husband sat. The table was also right next to stairs leading to lower level seating. We noticed that other people celebrating birthdays were getting desserts and acknowledgement. The waiter asked if we wanted dessert. We looked at the menu and decided on the Key Lime Pie to go. I told him that it was my husbands birthday and wanted the pie to go. He looked at me like we had two heads. He left and I noticed in the distance he was scanning his notes where it obviously said 'Birthday celebration'. They did bring us the pie to go and then another dessert for my husbands birthday. We didn't need two desserts and it took away the moment. Yes, they comped us for the desserts, but that wasn't the point. The special moment was gone. We have always had a great experience at Grille 66, but I am not sure we will be back anytime soon or recommend the restaurant to others.

We had a very mixed service experience at Grille 66. The first night we went when first coming into town it was EXCELLENT. Our waiter was outstanding - witty, knowledgeable, able to answer questions & make recommendations, had great timing, & was very attentive but not too attentive, etc. The food, location & ambiance is outstanding also.

We decided we wanted to return again before leaving town & to celebrate a birthday. We had the same goals/expectations but were pretty disappointed in our second waiter. He was distracted, hurried, and severely lacking in practically everything you expect from service in fine dining.

From not being able to answer questions on the menu clearly to taking basic straight off the menu orders, we never quite knew what we were getting. He didn't tell us specials without prompting, he would disappear far too long, & drop off /pick up things so quickly without even pausing to look at us let alone speak to us. The whole thing was just strange. He wasn't rude, he just seemed clueless.

In the span of drinks, courses and desserts he never ONCE came by to ask us how we or how are orders were. I had to flag him down when our drinks arrived because it didn't taste quite right only to find he ordered me the wrong drink. Despite being there for over 2 hours he never even came back to ask us if we wanted a second drink. We had to flag him down again to order dessert and he didn't ask or stick around long enough to let us also order coffee. Most of the night he ran around very hurried and spent WAY too much time at the computer console.

The food the second night was good but not quite what we thought we were getting & we never really got the chance to try anything else. Our first night we happily spent over $300 for the two of us. With the same expectations, the second night we finally gave up only spending about $120 before leaving.

It's astounding the service could be so hit or miss because the first night was excellent.

What a fabulous restaurant. Food was delicious and presentation just perfect. The wait staff was very attentive and knowledegable. The restaurant is a winner. Can't wait to go back and will frequent. Very ambient and top class.

As always, everything was amazing. We arrived and were seated at our reserved time, enjoyed two bottles of nicely priced wine and had a fabulous dinner with great friends. The veal piccata was perfectly seasoned with lemon and the yellowtail truly outstanding. This is by far my favorite place to dine while in South Florida. I’ll be back in 2 weeks for another memorable evening. Thank you Grille 66!!!
