Great good. I was a little disappointed they took the Vegetable Burgers off menu. They were the best. On Fridays and Saturdays you could get regular burgers at bar not dining room as per our waitress. The Calamari was Delicious, My husband liked the Pork Dish he ordered. Still love the place.
Good food and good music!
Great food and service will definitely be going back
Wonderful atmosphere and exquisitely prepared food made for a lovely evening for my wife's birthday!!
Very Good Meal!! Pork chop and hanger steak dish were both well presented and tasty. Very nice atmosphere
3rd time here never disappointed
Very good, I love it, my husband and I have a good time
This was our 4th Easter in a row w/ GHT - so we've done all incarnations; brunches, buffets special menus and traditional - and each year is better than the last. The table had a mix of specials and menu items, apps and entrees, soup and side dishes, and each one was stellar; not to mention three(!!) deserts. Christina our waitress was lovely as always and the wine and cocktail list also keep getting better and better.
We really feel so lucky to have had this place be a part of our lives and family for the past 10 years! We love you GHT; or as our daughter calls you 'second house' :)
Great place with healthy food choices made with local sourced and organic ingredients
Always great food and service.
Excellent food. Great drinks. Waitress messed up the order but food was very good
My son was playing baseball nearby so I went on OpenTable and looked for something nearby. At first I thought what did I do because this place is next to railroad tracks... doesn’t look like much from the outside. But inside… So cool and it was packed… The food was amazing… I was only disappointed that I didn’t get to hear the live band that was coming on at 9:30. If I’m in the area I would definitely go there again.
Food was fantastic!
Quiet night at Grey Horse Tavern. Cozy and relaxing atmosphere, the food just tastes better here. Cannot wait to go back.
Kim was a great waitress. Went for my wife's birthday. We always enjoy the atmosphere and food.
I'm never disappointed visiting here. The dining room was quieter than usual, and the sound of folk music from the bar was pleasant and not intrusive. Service was impeccable as always. My portion of steak was small for the price (it's hangar steak, not Kobe beef), but as delicious as any other dish I've had from there.
Went here with family for an early Sunday dinner. Great live music playing in bar area. The waitress had a last minute dinner special...poached lobster tail with blood orange burre blanc. Purely heaven. Scallops were the sweetest I have ever tasted. Every meal was perfect...duck two ways..perfect. Cant say enough about this tavern. Rustic casual and awesome!
I made a reservation for 7:45 PM, and was greeted by the friendly hostess & seated promptly. Our server, Zoe was attentive, helpful and friendly. We ordered burgers and the baked clams, and everything was cooked perfectly to our specifications and delicious.
The four of us have been here before and that is why we keep coming back. The atmosphere, the service, the friendly staff and the excellent food. I for one appreciate the creative vegetarian dishes - just would like to see a few more to choose from. We look forward to going back there again.
We went there for Valentine's Day and had a fantastic experience. Food was amazing and the ambiance was great. I will definitely go again!
We arrived late and although we did call to say we were going to be late, they did not rush us to eat when we arrived. They allowed us to have a drink first and settle in before we sat at a table. It was a busy night and they still were very accommodating. Food, as always was outstanding. I️ had the pork chop and she had the duck Two ways and they were both very tasty and cooked as you would expect it to taste.
Bottle of wine and a comfortable atmosphere all night long. Very pleased.
Love this place! It’s a beautiful old house transformed into a charming restaurant.
Our only complaint from this night in particular is that they took their house made veggie burger off the menu for Valentine’s Day without noting it on their website that the menu would be limited.
Great atmosphere, food and beverage selection overall! Will definitely return!
Best waitress ever Zoe great food amazing hostess Linda
We enjoyed the majority of our meal and the service was solid. For the record, we WILL go back, but on a day where they're not slammed with people. Valentine's Day is a crazy busy day. The food was tasty, but my entree came out cold. All the other servings (appetizers and soup) were good and hot. The corkage is high, but that MIGHT'VE been for VD... not sure... it was our first time there.
Service was outstanding. The food was very good and the atmosphere charming. Was a Valentines Day treat with a rose on each table. It had a nice selection of options to suit various tastes.
Exquisite experience and loved the band!
Always a good meal! Friendly and inviting atmosphere just a short walk from home 👍🏻
Grey Horse Tavern is a GEM of a restaurant. Farm to table to awesome is my saying. Linda, one of the owners, makes EVERYONE feel special. Her touch is everywhere and it shows. GHT is comfortable, the staff is top notch and VERY friendly and the food is about as good as it gets. I had an Asian inspired Tilefish over Soba Noodles and radish dressing. To say it was awesome is an understatement. The menu id fantastic...chock full of fresh, local ingredients prepared in an innovative and inviting manner. To top it off, GHT has amazing local musicians play on occasion in their bar area. You can't ask for a better place to spend an evening eating, drinking and just relaxing. I can't recommend GHT enough...and I'm from New Jersey! :-)
Been to the Grey Horse many times. Great entertainment combined with an eclectic menu.
Highly recommended!!!!
First time there, had a drink at the bar and bartenders were great, everything from apps to dessert was fantastic,,,cant wait to go back
Loved it! Eclectic menu, cozy atmosphere!
Worth the trip!
We enjoyed the experience overall, but there were a few negatives worth mentioning. First, no straws were available for use by our children. The restaurant no longer uses plastic straws, which I appreciate, but they were also out of the paper straws which were the replacement option for the plastic ones. The water glasses are quite heavy and awkward for a small child (<3 years old) to handle, so multiple water spills/coughing up water ensued. Second, the food choices for children were limited to three options. I would of appreciated one or two more. Third, my hamburger was supposed to be medium rare, but was definitely closer to rare (all pink inside). Fourth, the overall menu and specials seemed to be going out of its way to be "special", with several exotic ingredients and elaborate descriptions, and seemed to be catering to a different demographic than in past years. The Grey Horse has changed over time, and has become much less child-friendly. Unfortunately, this will limit our future visits, significantly.
We heard good things from friends and decided to check it out for my birthday dinner. We were sat right away at a table on the porch and everything about the meal was fine. We had tuna tartare to start which was tasty, it was served with exactly 4 chips which was not really enough but I am happy eating it with my fork. We both had the monkfish which was very good but for $30 I was expecting a little more on the side dish portion. I finished it all and was still pretty hungry. Drinks were good. We would come back but probably to sit at the bar for drinks and a hamburger which I imagine comes with more than 4 french fries.
This place never disappoints. It's our standby and a favorite among friends too. Great mixed drinks, lots of beers on tap, and an eclectic menu with lots of healthy options and interesting combinations.
We had fabulous food and the music was great. The Gene Casey & the Lone Sharks played.
Very much enjoyed our dinner out at Grey Horse. The meal was beautifully presented and delishous. I love the use of farm to table. I will def be back to sample some more creative dishes.
When i am wanting a burger and fries it is the only one i want! But i opted for the delish kale salad with steak. Yum.
LOVE this place...always go to watch Gene Casey, but I love the food, service, by Molly... outstanding. We had a large table in the bar, known as the community table. Food was fresh and burger was amazing. All 7 of us were satisfied...btw, they make the best Dark & Stormy..so good and served in a mason jar...love it.
Once again the Grey Horse did not disappoint. Lovely atmosphere. Quiet dining area. Happy hour is pretty busy at the bar. But definitely worth the trip. Dinner menu changes often and has local and fresh options.
As usual, the meal was amazing. Love the decir and there was a blue grass entertainer playing. really enjoyed the music.
Great out-of-the-way spot. Very charming and cozy. Very friendly staff and nice friendly bar. Will definitely return.
