Food was good, but with a peanut allergy, the fact that it was not listed that it contained walnuts was not even mentioned. And it was a chicken sandwich! Also the selection for a Saturday lunch did not have much of a variety. I also thought that desserts were way over-priced for what it was. Not a good value. Atmosphere and service was excellent.

Great restaurant but the portions can be a little too small.

Fine quality food, good portions, great beer and wine options. Not cheap. If you want cheap, go to Applebee's. Worth the cost. Spent 3 hours at the table just chatting. Was not rushed out. Highly recommended.

A wonderful environment, and great service. Unfortunately, the kitchen leaves a lot to be desired. A fanciful menu that's "farm to table", completely betrayed by the ineptitude of a chef who clearly has an ego that can't fulfil on delivery. Each dish has problems - overcooked (DEAD) pork chops, inconsistency in plating (differing portion sizes of the same entre delivered to the same table), and tables with bread plates and butter knives - and no bread (we asked and the answer we got was - "the plates look cute")... they simply can't deliver on what they promise. At the bar, the issue is the same - great cocktail ideas, but they suffer from a lack of actual alcohol, making them nothing more than oversweet, or over spiced "punch". It's a shame really - Grey Horse used to be a wonderful place - but unless they fix their "executive chef" problem, they'll be going under.

This was our second time eating here. We were seated right away, everyone was pleasant and friendly and the food was delicious.

Great food and a very cozy warm setting. Service could have been better... but wondered if that was due to the friends or music playing in the front bar room. It won't keep us away though because we've been here before when the service was wonderful.
