About Greg's Grill
Owners Greg & Teresa Hubert opened Greg's Grill in the spring of 2007. Their long history in the restaurant industry and passion for excellent service and great food led them to create a beautiful restaurant that reflects their high standards and attention to detail.
Situated in the heart of the historic Old Mill District of Bend Oregon, Greg's Grill sits amidst the bustle of movie theaters, art galleries and restaurants.

Greg's Grill is our personal favorite when are in Bend. We love the ambiance, the food and service is great, and the views of the Old Mill and Deschutes River are always beautiful! Our server Melissa was wonderful. We enjoyed meeting the Mgr and all the staff were very polite and profoundly accommodating.
Greg’s is a beautiful restaurant. That being said, our reservation was at 7:45 and I ordered rotisserie chicken with roasted vegetables as my entree. I’m going to assume that it was on the rotisserie too long or we just showed up too late in the evening but the chicken was so dry that it needed to be washed down with a full glass of water or it was literally going to be stuck in my throat for days.
My advice, don’t go too late in the evening!
I'm very happy to be leaving a positive review! We started our meal with some oyster shooters which were big and fresh. My husband and I both had the steelhead and it was wonderful. I especially liked the fig chutney!!! My daughter had the hanger steak with chimichurri. It was cooked well, but could have used a bit more chimichurri on the side. Would like to see a bit more variety of starch choices. Mostly potatoes. But, very happy to see a decently priced wine list!
Celebrated 70th Birthday, staff made it a special occasion. Food was great, served hot and in a timely manner. This is definitely one of our favorite Bend restaurants with the ability to seat and feed lots of people and still take care to provide good service.
I’ve never had a salad brought to me with a hot plate one it was just taken out of the dishwasher and probably was 120° 130°
All the food was over salted which is typical when their catering a single meal like they did for Thanksgiving

My wife and I ate an early Sunday lunch at Greg's before heading back after a long Sunriver vacation. The service, food and ambiance were all excellent. Good wine list. Excellent lunch menu. I had a cup of soup of the day and steak salad - all excellent quality.
We looked at the website menu before going to the restaurant. We were going to have the Beef Brisket and the Cioppino. When we arrived we noticed those items were not on the menu. We asked our waitress about it and she said they have not updated the website. She also said a lot of customers complained about the discrepancy. I asked if the manager was aware and she said yes, but he did not care. I am a mystery shopper for a number of high end restaurants. I would have given this restaurant a low grade for attitude and misrepresentation. We will not return.
I ordered a green salad with a rotisserie chicken breast that was in 1/2" slices which and so dry I had to wash down each bite and gave up after the first slice. My husband's steak didn't have much flavor so he didn't finish it. Our server was very nice and took my salad off the bill but we tipped her for it too. Certainly will not rush back.
Very disappointing experience. The menu limited and the preparation boring. Beautiful setting and could be wonderful if the kitchen expanded their menu and culinary skills. How do you ruin a Caesar salad? I will not be retuning as my last visit was as terrible as my most recent.
Food was excellent; restaurant ambiance very good; meal was diminished by lack luster service. Food spent too much time under the heat lamps while server was distracted. Server also forgot two ordered items. I would still recommend the restaurant, albeit with the caveat of the service.
My meal was no too great. I ordered prime rib and it was tough. I mentioned it to the waiter and he sent the manager over. I was disappointed in the meal but was not going to make a big deal out of it. The manager came over , talked to me and took the majority of the cost off the check . My wife had a filet and it was wonderful. It was her birthday and they brought her a nice dessert. Overall I thought even with my problem with my meal I will go back again if I am in the area.
We have been to this restaurant several times since moving to Bend last summer. It has always been good..until this most recent time. It was my husband's birthday and he had chosen this restaurant. Friday night 730pm--a typical busy time. Our server, Ashley, was a server we have had previously who has done a good job in the past. Not sure what was going on, but she was pretty inattentive and seemed preoccupied. Our food took FOREVER to come out. She cruised by the table 3 times and said "almost ready".... Once it finally arrived all meals were lukewarm. Sometimes I will ask for a manager if something like this occurs but with 5 hungry people we just went ahead and ate our food. The server did not come back until the end to check on how the food tasted and she never cleared the appetizers off the middle of the table. She also only took the rest of the plates after it was evident we were finished. I am planning to write a letter to management as well. Because there are a lot of restaurants in this town and this had been one of our favorites, I may be willing to give it one more try but if it's not a more favorable experience especially when paying $25-$40 per entree,( Prime rib, and a grilled salmon special that was not worth $36,) then we won't be back.
Was there the day before the Eclipse in Central OR. Wasn't the crowd that I think they were expecting. Many window seats were open. Can't get one of these if you have more than 4 in your party. Food was OK as well as service. Location probably means we would go there again, more so than the service or food. 3 orders of the Ahi, one order of ribs, and another salmon.
