Gregorio's Trattoria - Potomac
What a great neighborhood restaurant. Cant believe I have waited this long to try. Started with Caesar salads...very nice and had a chicken dish, salmon dish and pasta dish for our mains. All delicious and will be a regular here going forward.
Food is always good and the service is always with a smile and they honor reservations
The food and service were amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and the owner also was very personable. The food was just spectacular.
The food is always excellent and I was pleased to get a separate GLUTEN FREE menu that had many selections. I loved that the owner or manager came by to see how our food was and check on our dining experience. Very nice personal touch.
The house wine was quite delicious!!
It’s so nice to have such a wonderful restaurant in our neighborhood. My sister and her family jones is from our mid town and they too were impressed with the quality of food and exceptional service...even in a busy Valentine’s Day evening!
Neighborhood restaurant that has good food and good service. Extensive traditional Italian menu.
Our go to place! Having dinner with dear friends of 30 years from our neighborhood and eating our neighborhood! Perfect combo, and food was delicious!!
Always a treat. Service and food very consistent.
Perfect meal............great place for the family!
Delicious entrees, as always! Can't wait to try the pizza here too.
Very nice staff and really good food good for all ages
Our waitress was Lorraine and she was superb. I am allergic to garlic (Yes, I know I was in an Italian restaurant) but I know some dishes can be made without garlic. Lorraine and I put together a dish that would work and it was wonderful! I ate everything! Management walked around to make sure everyone was doing well. I will definitely come back. It was a lovely evening. Thank you Lorraine and kitchen for being so accommodating!
Met friends from Virginia and had a very nice dinner. Food was good...big portions! Our server was great. Restaurant was busy which added to the noise level. Wine prices a bit on the high side but lots of choices.
First time going and really enjoyed my dinner
This is one of my favorite places to go. The menu is extensive- always hard to decide on my meal. The pizza is excellent, salads are great- it is all good. Gregorios has a nice neighborhood vibe. You always see someone you know, because the placeis always packed. Never disappoints.
Tonight we wanted a local dinner where some of us could indulge in pizza while others had proper dinners. The result? Two delicious pizzas and delicious eggplant Parmesan and delicious Rigatoni Al Capone. Highly recommend getting an Open Table reservation as it’s a local favorite. Marcus was our delightful service - ask for his area, you won’t be disappointed. Definitely conclude your meal with the Tiramisu!! It’s on the light side so you won’t feel guilty afterwards.
Great neighborhood eatery. Actually the food gets better every time we dine here!
Steak Florentine was delicious.
We are a huge fan of Gregorio's! Love the friendly family atmosphere and the food is delicious. Recently visited the restaurant and had their Flounder Picatta which was outstanding. Eggplant Parmesan is delicious as well as the Salmon Rose and Salad w/Grilled Salmon. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a great meal.
Great service and traditional Italian food. Excellent garlic bread!
We love coming here for dinner. The food is consistently delicious and our server Janet is amazing.
The fish and the veal parmigiana were excellent! We will return and want to try the pizza next time which looked delicious!
We love to bring our friends to this neighborhood restaurant. We are always guaranteed a good meal and friendly service.
The owners and waitstaff always make us feel welcome even though we only go there every few months. We have recommended it to many people and have brought friends with us.
Best service, period !!,,........
This is a great local Italian place. Food is consistently good .
We discovered this restaurant on a Saturday night, so it was filled and very noisy. This is a storefront restaurant in a mall, and it is far from elegant. But the food is delicious, and the waitperson, we had, Janet, was outstanding. My husband said his meal and his wine were superb, and I had a cheesecake for dessert that was yummy! So, yes, terrific -- but make a reservation, for sure!
A truly neighborhood gem (though not our neighborhood), not a chain located in the corner od a strip shopping center. The food was fresh, locally sourced and delicious. Plus a decent number of wine choices moderately priced. three of us dined and shared the bruschetta appetizer, which was enough for 4 and delicious with a little spice added. For entrees we chose the crab & shrimp ravioli, spaghetti & meatballs, and the flounder special then added the side of sautéed spinach. It was all delicious.
Also we dined for 2 hours without anyone rushing us despite the fact every table was taken.
We will definitely return even though it’s 50 minutes from our va home.
Glad they are opening in Sumner Village!
Gregorio's is a family and kid-friendly, casual neighborhood restaurant. The food is good, though not gourmet. The marinara sauce is quite good, so I usually opt for dishes that use it. In particular, I enjoy the eggplant parmagian. It comes with a side of spaghetti with the same sauce. Many of the servers are experienced and do a very good job. Portions are fairly large, so some people might want to share. Most items will be divided in the kitchen if guests want it, making sharing easy.
Love this local Italian Restaurant! Never fails to impress me!
The salmon salad was wonderful (the salmon cooked and seasoned perfectly!) and my companion enjoyed her calamari very much.
Love gregorios so so much. Great neighborhood place and never disappoints. Thank you for being in business!!!!
Love the chicken piccata and bruschetta! Food is always great!
Dinner at Gregorio's was enjoyable, as always. Service was very good and the food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. We sat for a while, without feeling rushed. Gregorio's continues to be our go-to place as it has something for everyone. And the icing on the cake is that they are good with patrons with allergies.
Excellent service food and super friendly atmosphere
Veal Marsala not very good---greasy and overpriced.
Reliable and consistent
We went on a Sunday at 6pm. The place was PACKED. The service was absolutely horrible. However, our waitress acknowledged every time she came to our table (which was not often enough) that she was swamped and that we were waiting for everything. She also forgot to put in an item, did so when I asked about it and said she'd take it off the bill. But I also had to ask for the drinks we'd ordered. It was hard to tell if the kitchen was backed up, if employees had called in sick and the place was short-staffed, or if management doesn't know how to handle a full house. The menu is varied enough and the food was good enough for us to decide to try it again another time--for certain on a weeknight!
This is our go to afternoon place. Four or five of us meet every Thursday and Marcus always makes us feel as if we’re coming home
