                                                                  I had the strawberry salad and the pasta with mushrooms, spinach, corn and then the lemon mousse with miso polenta cake and grilled peaches. Yummy every bite!

                                                                  Why were there so few diners at lunch? Attentive service, good variety on the menu, those stellar views of the marina should bring in guests like in the good ‘ole days. The roasted peach pizza with feta was outstanding as were the desserts (i.e. blueberry lavender tart). But the prices were simply higher than one should pay for lunch. $17 for a non-alcoholic cocktail? 61/2% service charge for crew? One writer used the phrase “California ostentatious.” That sums up my take. So enjoy the food, service, view but be prepared to pay.

                                                                  Greens has been a favorite in our household for decades. Fabio, our server, was pleasant, attentive, and friendly. My husband and I shared a pasta dish and a pizza. The pasta was rich, which I liked. The pizza was sweet (peach and tomato), which he liked. We were seated next to a window, which was as requested, so we were grateful since we were hosting friends. My one peeve: the people who bus the tables must be trained to pick up plates asap. We did feel that we were being rushed a bit. That detracts from the leisurely enjoyment of a fine and pricey meal.

                                                                  Oustanding creative menu with great use of fresh local fruits and vegetables. Greens is better than ever. Who knew tofu could taste this good smoked on a pile of creamy corn or peaches would elevate pizza. Beautiful view, nice service AND parking make this the perfect special lunch place for San Francisco.

                                                                  Always a delight to dine at Greens. Love the location and ambiance. Food is yummy and interesting . Very few misses here on the menu. Great cocktails and lovely wait staff.
