    Join us for an unforgettable collaboration dinner with Geoff Davis from Burdell in Oakland. Named for and inspired by Chef’s maternal grandmother, Burdell reflects her love for well-set tables, shared meals and laughter. Burdell is centered on nostalgia, family recipes, and sourcing — and on the forgotten impact of Black farming, foraging, and culture on American cuisine and hospitality. For this collaboration dinner, expect nostalgic Soul Food through a vegetarian lens. The menu will be available several weeks before the collaboration dinner date.                                                                   Greens did not disappoint - Service was great. Food was great. Parking at Fort Mason was incredibly easy (lot was only 30% full and the spaces are the old huge spaces, not "compact") and cheap ($5/hour). Food prices were reasonable, even on the inexpensive side. Our only gripe was that the outdoor pavilion where we sat (we brought our dog) has a clear corrugated plastic covering/roof and clear plastic corrugated side walls, and black asphalt floors, so it gets hot on a sunny day - but the staff keeps the entrance door opened, and I opened the other door at the other end of the pavilion (when the staff were gone) to allow a breeze to flow, and then it was very nice. Greens was a gem decades ago, and it was good to see that it's still a gem. Thank you!

                                                                  Excellent and interesting dishes, great quality and taste. Ambience seems from 1979, which I love. Serving staff was not too friendly, rushing to clear the table with used dishes, and that I do not like. Beautiful view, obviously, which makes this a remarkable experience. All in all this was great.

                                                                  I try to go to brunch at Greens every Father's Day. They have excellent food, a wonderful view, and great servers. I went with my daughter and my partner this year and we had fantastic pizza, eggs, and a vegetable dish. And scones for appetizer and a delicious mousse for dessert. I highly recommend Greens to all, not just vegetarians!

                                                                  Green’s never disappoints! And this time we had a window table and enjoyed the beautiful Golden Gate sunset as we watched the sea lions. The food, as always, was delightful.

But wish besides cheese, the chef would come up with other vegetarian dishes, using tofu or nuts and beans with rice so customers can enjoy other vegetarian selections if they don't want to rely on cheese based entrees. Also, be great if chef will make all their own pasta so that the pasta will be even better tasting! Chef can create a housemade lasagna with mushroom dish, or housemade cannelloni filled with ricotta cheese, etc. Possibilities are endless if Green chef makes their own pasta and pair it with their very tasty sauces!

                                                                  Very enjoyable and very fresh ingredients - we ended up sharing a number of appetizer plates and salads - all were delicious. Service was excellent and we had a table looking out at the Bay and could watch the sea lions playing in the water right outside the window. A lovely lunch!
