My expectations were high based on reviews and website. Also the menu - dishes sounded delicious and exciting but when they came they were quite ordinary. I had the grilled cheese. Sounded special, but felt like quite an ordinary cheese sandwich and a side salad. Food was good, but not up to the expectation. Also, overpriced for what it was. Tables were close together, so felt quite hectic.

Brunch at Greens last Sunday was a total delight ! I had been meaning to try it out for YEARS, and finally thought of it while we were attending the Fog Art Fair. We were seated on the window overlooking the harbor, so had a stellar view. Our waitress was exceedingly nice, as were the others helping her during a busy time . Food was absolutely delicious, served in creative bowls. It could not have been a more wonderful time !

We enjoyed a really nice brunch here on Saturday. The food was excellent and our cocktails were perfectly made. Our only issue with this restaurant is that there are what seem to be fewer and fewer options for vegans. As much as we love going here, I would hate to be force to stop supporting this restaurant. Hopefully things can improve a bit menu wise or at least the ability to modify a dish to become vegan. On this current brunch menu, our server only indicated one or two items that could be made vegan. Kind of disappointing. We were still able to have a great meal this time but with fewer options.

Always a treat! first class food and service! We always pair lunch at Greens with Fog Design +Art. Greens makes it special to visit Fort Mason. I have been dining at Greens for 25+ years and have never been disappointed.

The waiters were aggressive in putting our main course on the table before we were ever finished with appetizers. It was quite aggressive and I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m only giving them the benefit of the doubt since I’ve been there before and had a gr at time.

We had a reservation for 1pm and arrived at 12:55 but were not seated until 1:30pm. After lunch the wait staff were apologetic and brought us desserts to make up for that. This was a nice gesture but we would have preferred better feedback while we waited and perhaps some appetizers while we waited instead. Just suggesting this idea for future similar situations. I will return, of course, their food is outstanding.

Greens never disappoints! What a fabulous menu and the preparation is just excellent and the staff is so earnest and kind and attentive that you just fall in love with the place again every time!

Kept a window table even though we were late. (We called about our late arrival). The food was out of this world. Our favorite was the spring rolls.

Absolutely wonderful! As many times as I have been back over the years, the experience is always uplifting! The view, ambiance, service, the menu and incredibly talented chef (Annie Somerville), - all combine to make each return visit a glorious occasion!! Truly a San Francisco gem!
