Given all the challenges during Covid this was a great experience. Our server was outstanding and the food divine!
Note: the ambiance and noise level were inaccurate because we were outside due to the pandemic
We had dinner at greens before the drive-in opera at Fort Mason, and it was the beginning of a wonderful evening! They have dining in front of the restaurant, and they had just gotten in some heat lamps so it was just fine. Everything was delicious!
All outside, kinda cool, brunch menu is great.
I recommend it to my friends here. All of it very delicious for us!
Greens has been on my bucket list for years and did not disappoint. The food and service were fantastic. Was glad for the extra blankets in the car as they do not have outside heaters and SF nights are a little chilly.
Great food and service but heat lamps needed.
Very attentive service and managed the outdoor dining quite well. Every dish was well prepared and delicious.
Excellent as always ingredients are fantastic service was superior and the setting can’t be beat we will continue to go back
Had a great birthday brunch at Greens! Great food, good service, and felt very covid safe. We will definitely be back!
We LOVE Greens! And are so happy to be able to go back in! Thank you for taking such good care of us, it felt safe and distanced and so wonderful to be able to celebrate with you again!
It was a perfect dinner to celebrate our sons birthday. Food and service was excellent. Portions were surprisingly generous. We were very satisfied.
A pleasurable “foodie” experience!
Loved everything about. Delicious food, most beautiful interior design, amazing service, etc.!
Wonderful brunch experience! Our server Cara was amazing and the food and drinks were incredibly delicious. The outdoor seating was lovely and everything felt very safe.
One of my all time favorite open for dining family. As always outstanding
It was the perfect clear Fall night and it was such a pleasure to be looking out the windows from Greens and eating such divine food! I moved to SF the year Greens opened and it’s been a favorite and so consistent over FOUR decades!! Bravo!
Bliss, Cara was magnificent!
I hadn't been to Greens in a while but it was as great as ever. Everything we ordered was delicious and the setting was magical.
What an amazing vegetarian/vegan option in SF! my wife and I really enjoyed our dinner. Fun fact: I was surprised to learn that the restaurant was started by the San Francisco Zen Center.
I've been to Greens several times over the years and have never been disappointed. It's one of the few restaurants I know of that offers an adequate number of yummy gluten free options, which I appreciate immensely.
Great food and great ambiance.
They clean tables and chairs thoroughly after each guest. We felt safe dining inside.
I was decidedly underwhelmed by the food. I had been wanting to eat at Greens for years. I had a garbanzo bean salad sandwich. The bread was stale. The filling was OK, but I have made much more interesting fillings. The sandwich cost $16. I expect a lot ore from a $16 sandwich. My friend had panzanella salad and wasn't knocked out. We had the chocolate mousse cake for desert and it was good, but not really special. I was very disappointed. It seemed the staff was asleep at the wheel.
I love the flavors of Greens. Every dish has it's own subtle signature.
This was my first time back after Covid. I have missedGoing to Greens since last January. I love the views and the food is always so delicious. And the staff has always been wonderful and friendly. I recommend it highly to everyone.
So glad Greens has reopened! Excellent food and friendly professional service, as we have come to expect from Greens. There was what I thought was very adequate space between tables for social distancing and the wait staff all wore masks and were very respectful. There was also what I felt was good indoor ventilation/air flow. I felt very comfortable dining indoors - our first indoor dining experience since COVID began.
Excellent meal, service, and atmosphere. We have been there before, and plan to return in the near future.
Not a vegetarian but their food is amazing. Everything we had was delicious, the mushroom pizza, the beet salad, tofu with pumpkin and pomegranate tabouli. Exquisite!
Great food, great service.
But the interior needs some love. There was no music playing, no candles on the tables etc. The restaurant seemed cold and plain
Very good vegetarian food with great drinks in a beautiful setting. The only downside is the price. Kinda expensive for what you get.
Greens is one of the few restaurants I return to. I am never disappointed.
Delicious vegetarian food next to the Marina.
Lunch with my daughter
We went to brunch for my 18 year olds birthday. I love this place and the food was fantastic. The smoked cheddar biscuits are a must get. We all really enjoyed our food. I would recommend any of the egg dishes. The sauce on the pancakes was a little tangy and different than expected. The cold hibiscus mint cooler was light and refreshing and everyone loved it.
Such a fun place with beautiful food for meat eaters believe me you won’t miss it and we all left stuffed.
We had a wonderful night. The food was excellent, as usual, and the service was very personable. We do miss dining experiences just like we had at Greens.
So great to have dined here INSIDE again! Tables are at least 10 ft spaced, ceilings high, views to die for, food is as good as it gets for vegetarian...and many vegan options. To say you will enjoy your meal and dining experience here...even if a carnivore, is an understatement. This is still a very good restaurant.
Welcome back to one of my faves!!
The restaurant is just perfect ✨ Great food, amazing cocktails, awesome service and BEAUTIFUL VIEW.
Our server was remarkably charming and efficient and accomodating.
Always a wonderful dining experience.
And the food is, of course, simply exceptional.
Very cold eating outside without heaters. Camping cutlery. Limited menu. Low value
