Excellent as always. 21st birthday and they greeted us with champagne. Window table as requested. Food delicious, beautiful, wait staff knowledgeable and friendly. Will always go back.
Our choice when at Greens is to order several appetizers, sides, and perhaps one entree so that we can sample the flavors of as many dishes as possible. There is no way to go wrong, however, as the food is superb, the service and ambience delightful.
The food was excellent and the service even better! They paced us very well as we ordered a little bit of everything to taste
We went there for my vegan daughter’s birthday. It is very nice setting at 5 pm with sunset at bay with beautiful golden gate bridge as background.
Lunch at 1:30 on a Saturday.
There is no lunch menu, only brunch. There is one soup, a few salads, one pizza and lots egg dishes. If you don’t like eggs, you’re out of luck. No more spinach salad that we always ordered, evidently Annie is retired. If you’ve gone there for years, you’ll be disappointed. Never again. How sad. Packed with tourists who probably go there because of it’s reputation. Great view (they can’t take that away).
If you reserve a table at lunch hour, expect 15-20 minute wait. But we’ll worth being patient.
Fantastic place for brunch. Maybe the best brunch in San Francisco. It's the combination of great, healthy food and a phenomenal setting.
It was good but as good as it was last year. Overall, the falafels were a bit overdone and the rigatoni was too oily. But of course the service and location were perfect. Thank you.
It's been over 10 years since I was last @ Greens. The food is excellent and our vegan niece was happy to be able to order whatever she wanted from the menu. Hopefully, we won't wait another 10 years to return.
Classy vegetarian food in a classy location. Great for sunset
The warm pea shoot salad had just the perfect amount of salt and acid and was beautiful too!! I almost always have their pizza here, the crust is light and flaky and it isn't overloaded with stuff, today it was potatoe and artichoke, delish!!
It was great to learn that everything on the menu could be made vegan <3
I love the waterfront view and delicious healthy meals (with drinks)
We went for lunch. Excellent server, friendly, left us alone when we needed to be, attentive when we needed something. Potato Griddle Cakes and Spring Rolls - both great. For the main course, the Saffron Rigatoni and The Thai Curry were very delicious. Highly recommended.
All the food we had was too salty!
Disappointing after past experiences.
Creative and delicious vegetarian food. Gorgeous views. Excellent service
Great veggie option
Great food and service; just slow on getting our food this time. Think it was kitchen confusion.
The quality and portions are perfect. I enjoyed every bite and every moment!
The food was exquisite. The service was great. The view was beautiful. My vegetarian self was n heaven!
Greens is a family favorite!
The ambience is superb.
The menu is nice but some dishes were tiny and overpriced.
Scrumptious butter lettuce, sourdough pancakes and passionfruit sauce were super delicious.
Very chatty table neighbor dampened the experience a bit.
Recommend Greens any day overall!!!!
Second time visiting Greens and I am always impressed by the food quality and customer service. I also love the plethora of vegan options and that everything on the menu can be made vegan from vegetarian.
Upon my second experience, the waiter mentioned that our dessert was not being made on time and as a courtesy, he served us our dessert options to my fiance and me including two glasses of wine at no extra charge. The employees appreciate and value the customers and I'm always satisfied when I leave the restaurant.
Super great menu and a culinary treat for vegetarians. This time we felt that service was not up to par. Our server forgot one of the dishes we ordered, then no one came to take the dishes once our appetizers were done. We were there at 2 pm and the restaurants closes at 2:30pm so I think they were rushed. However, the food, ambience and overall vibe of the place is always on point.
Great food but bad coffee
We had dinner here for Valentine’s Day! It was an AMAZING pre fixe menu. I got the vegan part and my husband got the vegetarian part. Mine tasted DIVINE. Yes, we waited an extra ~30 mins to be seated, but we were presented with a cocktail on the house for the wait. I would definitely return to try their everyday menu.
The food is beautiful, inventive and delicious. The service immaculate.
You can't beat Greens: Ambiance, food, service are all wonderful. It's always special ... and worth the drive from across the bay!
Excellent service . Excellent food . Nice ambience . My husband took me here fr our anniversary n V day dinner . Perfect. N oh the desserts !!!!! Lovely . I really don’t ve anything negative at all to say . Superb . Thank u
A full but uncrowded Thursday night before Valentine’s Day. The seasonal menu offered delicious alternatives: we started with Johnny cakes and yellow pepper sauce with a fennel and mint salad; then had white bean hummus and radishes, and roasted Brussel sprouts with Mahmoud sauce and slivered almonds. All fresh and delicious. Great service as always.
Manager, Leslie, took great care of us, as did wait staff. And the food was delicious. A great evening
Took quite a while to just get water poured at the table. Definitely on the short staffed side of things.
The food was decent, but not great.
Crispy potato cakes were....not crispy and very dainty for the price.
Tofu dish was tasty but a bit pedestrian I thought given the reputation of the restaurant.
A friend and I went to celebrate my birthday.
The food as always was absolutely delicious..it was a beautiful sunny day down in the Marina as well, which added to the ambience with all their large windows... our wait person was great which made our day even more wonderful.
Not what it used to be. Service was pretty good- attentive - but the meal took forever. It just wasn't all that exciting. Great view though!
The views are stunning and the food was delicious! Highly recommend the biscuits, pancakes, and pizza - I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu!
Good ambience. Wish there were larger portions of food.
Outstanding all the way around. Delicious, creative food; great service and lovely views.
We had a wonderful dinner experience. Our server was very good, and we enjoyed our meal. Started with cocktails and then wine; the wine list was reasonably priced, too! The harvest salad was terrific and other starters were enjoyed by others in our group. Entrees delicious including a fabulous pizza, and terrific pastas. Portion sizes were on the generous side. We also enjoyed bread (fresh with a great dense crumb, but moist). All in all, this spot continues to provide delicious food using excellent ingredients.
Love having this vegetarian restaurant in such a beautiful location. It is always on our TO DO list when we show visitors the sights in SF. We came early for our reservation, so many guests were seated at the same time which slightly slowed down service.
The view of the Golden Gate Bridge is extraordinary, the ambiance enhances the views, and the food is never, ever, disappointing. As vegetarians, it's wonderful to have a whole menu to select from. Our friends and family who don't share our culinary persuasion enjoy the fare as much as we do.
