Greens is open for indoor and outdoor dining, with take out available online or at our in-house kiosk. When reserving a table outdoors, we recommend bringing a jacket that is suitable for wind and chilly weather. Our heated dining pavilion is in front of the Greens building.

Diners savor Greens imaginative vegetarian cuisine that features local and seasonal produce and the finest ingredients from our organic farm Green Gulch. Focusing on creative and nutritious meals balanced in flavor and textures, our menus are inspired by farmers, relationships and stories around the world. Located in Landmark Building A of the historic Fort Mason Center, Greens is home to some of the most dramatic views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Headlands that San Francisco has to offer.

Named for and inspired by Chef’s maternal grandmother, Burdell reflects her love for well-set tables, shared meals and laughter. Burdell is centered on nostalgia, family recipes, and sourcing — and on the forgotten impact of Black farming, foraging, and culture on American cuisine and hospitality. For this collaboration dinner, expect nostalgic Soul Food through a vegetarian lens. The menu will be available several weeks before the collaboration dinner date.     Food was tasty. But wish besides cheese, the chef would come up with other vegetarian dishes, using tofu or nuts and beans with rice so customers can enjoy other vegetarian selections if they don't want to rely on cheese based entrees. Also, be great if chef will make all their own pasta so that the pasta will be even better tasting! Chef can create a housemade lasagna with mushroom dish, or housemade cannelloni filled with ricotta cheese, etc. Possibilities are endless if Green chef makes their own pasta and pair it with their very tasty sauces!

    Very enjoyable and very fresh ingredients - we ended up sharing a number of appetizer plates and salads - all were delicious. Service was excellent and we had a table looking out at the Bay and could watch the sea lions playing in the water right outside the window. A lovely lunch!

    A fun meal with flavors, textures, and ingredients that we don't normally eat. VP is vegan possible, which is a very nice option for vegans.

    The food was excellent and the restaurant was gorgeous, with views of the harbor. However despite some other tables being available, we were seated in a small back room with less opportunity for views and right next to a large party with lots of noise and little personal space (both between tables and because members of that party often walked around too close to our table and children running around with no supervision), which really diminished our experience. I was disappointed by the restaurant's handling of this large party and lack of apology for seating us late, in a less than ideal area, and surrounded by noise to an uncomfortable level. We expected more from such a nice place.

    Greens is always the last meal before we travel east for home - after the most wonderful meals (not necessarily vegetarian) consistently enjoyed before then, Greens always top them all.

    Greens gave us a wonderful experience. The duty manager was very friendly, our server was very lovely and the food was delicious! Thank you so much for having us. The blueberry tart is second to none!

    The location of the restaurant is great. It’s situated right on the water and the very open dining room affords great views from almost every table. The corn pasta was the standout for us and the chocolate torte was also delicious. We enjoyed the squash blossoms but they weren’t as delicate as others we’ve had. The mushroom shumai had an odd spice and the skins were tough in places. The service was good overall but our server was a little sassy, not in a good way.

    I was with 3 friends and we all had a fabulous time. The food was amazing! So many interesting flavors and ingredients. Our waitress Sarah was so helpful and knowledgeable. Such a wonderful evening!!!
