Very nice as always!
Dinner and service were both excellent.
Our family chose Green Valley Grill for lunch after our daughter's graduation. The food, ambiance, and service was excellent and definitely made an already special occasion even more memorable!
We always love the food and the wait staff is always top notch!
Waiter asked up to order wine by the number. Had no idea what the words were.
oh my...what happened? lamb chops fatty and full of gristle...have never had an experience like this here, one of my favorite restaurants...
The food was excellent. Juuan, our waiter was very knowledgeable and very professional.
He made our lunch one of the more than above average experiences. We had the dessert assortment, it is a very nice sampling of the best desserts.
Meeting a high school classmate
I wanted to give my daughter a celebration for an accomplishment she has worked so hard for. The server was very prompt and pleasant. The food was good and had a wonderful experience. We will be back.
Ordered the salmon which was very under-seasoned. We also ordered a burger and asked for it well-done and it came out very pink. Burger was also very under-seasoned. The manager did come out and apologize for the pink burger and gave us two $25 coupons for when we return but I highly doubt we will return. I am guessing they just don't add a lot of seasoning to their food. We also had to wait for what felt like a long time to get the waiter to remove a tea we did not order from our bill.
Green Valley Grill is our Go To Restaurant for Any Special Occasion. We try to come up with a special occasion every few weeks. The patio is amazing & the chef’s rotating menu never disappoints! When Servers are busy there is always a manager or key holder who checks on each & every guest.
A great stand-by for GSO... casual elegance and great food so you can't beat it! Menu also changes which I like
The waiter was extremely courteous. The food came out quick- almost too quick. I had chicken and every bite was delectable. Dessert did not disappoint.
I have been coming here for years and always enjoyed my meal. This was the first time that I found the portions quite small, the dish overpriced. And the food was just average to be honest. Very disappointed after years of hearty portions with deliciously prepared dishes
Start to finish the customer service was friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were terrific
Great food and service. Knowledgeable staff and great atmosphere.
I LOVE the atmosphere, food and service! It is ALWAYS my first choice!
This was my wife and my first visit to this restaurant. We were in from out of of town for a family reunion the next day, but our meal was on our 28th Wedding Anniversary. I picked the Green Valley Grill based upon the high Open Table rating (coupled with a large number of reviews > 3700).
We thoroughly enjoyed the experience from the start to the end. We were greeted promptly and the hostess acknowledged our anniversary (this doesn't always happen even when I put it in the reservation). Our serve, Christopher, came quickly and was very helpful throughout the meal.
We really enjoyed all of the food. The soup of the day was wonderful, and the house dressing on the salad that came with our meal was great. We both opted for the filet mignon entree - which was really VERY good. The meat was prepared as we requested it, and the sauce it came with was unique and a definite winner. We finished the meal with a complementary piece of the chocolate cake (a restaurant best seller) and it was really delicious. I would not hesitate to order anything again on another visit.
Thanks again to the entire staff for making our visit so special, and to the Chef and the kitchen staff for the wonderful food.
Gorgeous location, professional staff, delicious food
Big portions, salads are boring and blah.
Way better food and service than some pricier restaurants I’ve been to. Green Valley Grill is absolutely beautiful inside as well as outside.
My new favorite place!!
Excellent service! Great food & plenty of it. We love GVG!
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at GVG, and it was marvelous! They did everything well - our greeting, our wonderful server Morgan, the “make me blush” cocktail, our starters and entrees, and the surprise complementary piece of chocolate cake! While GVG is not affordable for us generally, we do intend to celebrate our next anniversary there!
Food too salty
Loved the Copper Room
Great as always!!
Consistently great food all the time! No negatives.
We ordered the grilled tuna salad for lunch. The dressing was so overpowered by the addition of cumin that the salad was hard to enjoy. Fortunately one of us ordered the dressing on the side, so I just asked for fresh lemon and the salad was edible. We really should have sent the pre-dressed salad back to the kitchen. Although the tuna was served medium rare, exactly as we asked for it, the amount of tuna was minuscule. Just four very tiny slices, each about the size of a quarter. The server was very pleasant but our coffee mugs arrived dripping with coffee and when it came time to pour refills, the server sloshed the coffee all over the table and didn’t wipe it up. This is not our usual experience at green valley grill. We were disappointed.
Went there for lunch, and food was great. Very noisy however.
Beautiful atmosphere wonderful service and the food was delicious. We traveled from WV to stay and shop and will definitely be back. Best steak I’ve had and the scallops were Devine!
Ask for Courtney she is the best...
The fish was undercooked and had to be sent back. The steak was also undercooked (rare) when medium- well was ordered. The patio has a great ambiance.
Wonderful venue! Great food!! We enjoyed the service.
GVG was amazing as always. They never disappoint and that is why they are our go to restaurant in the Triad.
My husband and I went there for brunch at 10:30am on a Sunday morning and were seated immediately. We had reservations but did not need them. We asked to be seated outside and it was so lovely out there. Service was quick and we were done eating at 11:05am. Devin our waiter was very attentive and polite. The only complaints would be that my husbands "shaved beef eggs Benedict" were quite fatty and both his eggs Benedict and my avocado toast were both hard to cut with the knives provided. Maybe a serrated knife would have worked better. We enjoyed our brunch at GVG and will return!
The food was really good, the rest of the experience lacked. First of all, when we made our reservation we asked for an "out of the way" table and were given one where two aisles merged. When we asked someone we were told that this table was considered out of the way because there were parties in the big rooms flanking the dining room and this table was quieter. Ok... not quite "out of the way" by my standards. Nor do I think it would be by most people's standards. People walking to and from the bathroom and being seated walked by our table from two directions.
We were never quite sure who our server was. One young lady who came by was very knowledgable and helpful, the person who we THINK was our server was very scarce, except when he delivered/processed the bill. We were seated around 8 by the young lady who filled our water. About 10 minutes later we were asked by our server(?) if we wanted any other drinks. About 20 minutes later he came to get our appetizer order which came in about 20 minutes. Approximately 15 minutes later (or longer) he asked if we were ready to order our meal which we did. It came about 20 minutes later which was fine, but we didn't see him again for another 30 minutes, others filled our drinks and finally another lady came and got our plates to box our leftovers. When we ordered our appetizer we said we wanted to take our time with the meal. However, we did not think that would be perceived that we wanted no attention, sparse refills of our drinks, etc. We then asked for the check and it really came and was processed quickly.
Again, we were trying to go to a different place for us as we have found some great ones in our area recently by trying to do so. Unfortunately this one will not be included in that list.
Always a great experience, from a perfect martini to nifty Gin and lavender "Violet Tendencies" from the bar. Add in a perfectly cooked NC Trout and a great stea.. It's a lovely evening.
When we travel we try to pick restaurants with great food and good wine. My husband writes for a couple of local newspapers and includes a recipe. This was by far some of the best food we've had.
