   Saw jagersnitzel on the menu ordered it came out with this almost plate sized pork chop perfection, couldn’t finish it took home half for lunch next day , the mushroom sauce is perfect complement, we were celebrating our 47th anniversary, they treated us to a dessert to share, we couldn’t finish that either, very rich nutty Irish cake , my husband had the scallops dish and vowed he’d order that again! We’ve come to this restaurant over 20 years , when whole trined artichoke are on the menu I always get that and the leek soup!

   Good and service are consistently above average. Our group of 12 was well taken care of. I appreciate the individual bills so we could each work out who paid for what. The menu has an excellent range of dishes and portions.

   We visit Greensboro often to see our kids. We had never been here before and were pleasantly surprised! We were expecting something nice but this place is special. Everything top to bottom was exceptional! The menu was interesting and the prices were very fair. Cudos we will be back.

   Food was great! Server was wonderful. The table was small for a party of 11, but we made it work. If we were all adults it wouldn’t have worked! Overall though very pleased with this restaurant

   Overall great experience. Only negative was one in our party ordered the Parmesan chicken and was disappointed in it. Everything else was superb, great calamari app, excellent trout, delicious stuffed eggplant. Highly recommend.

   GVG is always great, but I wanted to call out the service, specifically, in this visit. We were a party of 12 celebrating a 40th birthday. At no point did we ever feel service was lagging or orders were taking too long. Our server (can’t remember her name with everything that was going on with the group) was so on top of it, taking and getting orders to us on a consistent basis through the evening (kudos to the kitchen and bar as well). Drinks and food flowed seamlessly through dinner. Top notch all the way around.

   Two in our party really liked the Darn Good Hamburger with cheese. I enjoyed the delicious grilled tuna salad. Also good were the flatbread, truffle fries, and spinach dip. The portions of all items were generous.

    Fantastic as always - ask for Leah if you are in the bar…although everyone is amazing! Tried the London Fog cake for the 1st time…who dreamed-up this masterpiece??😍 it’s bucket-list worthy.
