Mother’s Day celebration
Everything was good - breakfast calzone was better than expected. Mom liked her crab cakes and wife liked her chicken as well. And lemon cake with blueberry ice cream was a good finish to it all!
We celebrated Mother’s Day brunch at green valley grill. The highlight of the meal were the appetizers and desert. We had the crab and spinach dip which was flavorful but lacked crab meat. I must say it tasted more like a spinach dip than crab and spinach dip. For entrees I had the quiche which was fair . I did not care for the cubes chucks of beef but overall it had a good flavor. The rocket sale that accompanied the quiche was bitter and lacked salad dressing. Crab cakes are mediocre due to minimal crab meat and more filler. My husband had the brunch calzone which he described as “delicious”. I highly recommend the nutty Irish dessert. It is extremely rich and delicious!
The food is amazing! I’ll definitely be back soon!
It was a little noisy but we were also by the kitchen. All I could say is that it was a great experience and a great place to celebrate. We were there for brunch and was completely satisfied. Great atmosphere and service excellent. They are well staffed.
Wait staff not up to par for your restaurant; had to ask for steamed milk for espresso, rye toast twice and what was delivered was white and not sure what type was presented the 2nd time. The apology was weak. Little followup throughout our meal. A very disappointing breakfast for Mother's Day.
We are returning for dinner tonight at 5:30 PM. Since we will be hosting another couple please have the wait staff at their usual A+ level. It what we have experienced in the past and come to expect!
Mother’s Day brunch
Our experience is always outstanding at GVG!
The rosemary crusted prime rib was outstanding, as were the truffle fries. Ambiance and overall experience was fantastic!
Their service was amazing! Morgan was on top of everything and super attentive!
First time going this past weekend for my birthday; I will be a repeat customer in the future! We had reservations and they were right on time with seating us, our waitress was great, and the food was amazing! They even read the reservation we made and noted that we were there for a birthday and surprised us with a piece of cake!
We took our daughter here to celebrate her college graduation. The food was amazing & the service was top notch. We will definitely stop back when we are in Greensboro! ❤️
Great food, awesome service, beautiful dining room. It was the perfect place to celebrate Mother’s Day!
Second visit went for Mother’s Day weekend. Table was ready the service was great and the food was really good. Priced right and love the decor and ambiance. Would recommend and will definitely go again
We have had excellent service and great food on our many visits, until today. For Brunch we ordered:
Chorizo Scramble, housemade chorizo, scrambled eggs, cilantro, avocado, feta, salsa verde, GVG hashbrowns 12.95
However, we received a plate of plain scrambled eggs and the waiter never came out to check on us after the food runner delivered the food from the kitchen.
Always a fabulous meal and service. Today was no exception
GVG was an excellent restaurant for Mother’s Day. Service was great no skimpy plates!
Delicious food & quick service! It was so good I ordered takeout the next day!
Phenomenal service. Thanks so much!
Food was very delicious, staff was friendly and attentive to service needed. Price was decent, maybe a little high to some but was worth it.
Got sat 15 mins before our reservation. Food came out super quick. Good quality food for price.
We went to the green valley grille for lunch to celebrate our daughters college graduation. It was perfect! Service, food and atmosphere were all top notch!
The staff was very courteous, the service was excellent and the food was very good.
One of our favorite places in Greensboro. Never disappoints.
The management is to be commended! Every aspect of our dining experience was superb, as always. The friendly hostess accommodated our special request to sit by the fountain on the serene patio, allowing my older guest to easily hear the conversation and feel COVID-safe. The waitstaff was attentive while unobtrusive, easily answering our questions, providing excellent recommendations on the new monthly menu additions and serving at a comfortable pace. Most importantly, the food was imaginative, beautifully presented and delicious!
Green Valley Grille is my go-to for dining with business associates, friends and family because they are consistently this good. I have been coming for 22 years, so I have probably had over a thousand meals at this restaurant, and can honestly say that I have never once been disappointed.
We had a wonderful meal and our server was excellent. She surprised us with a delish piece of chocolate cake for our Anniversary. Thank you so much!
Delicious dinner and great service as always. It is a pleasure dining at Green Valley Grill.
A little disappointed in the chicken bacon sandwich as chicken seemed to be overcooked
Our meal was exquisite, the cuisine was delectable, and the sommelier Mark was brilliant!
Lunch/brunch was exquisite as always. Reagan was a fantastic server, professional, and spot on. She is an asset to your team. The food presentation was beautiful and tasted superb. We LOVE Green Valley Grill- thanks for a great birthday celebration for our daughter. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Ms Sandra was our server again. I asked specifically for her since my first time I came she was excellent. The 2nd time I went, the service wasn’t as great as her because she set the bar very high. Each time I return, I will ask for her. The food, service, and ambiance keeps me as a returning diner.
First time eating at CVG in over a year. It was a wonderful experience!
Excellent brunch and our waitress was fantastic !
Amazing food, wonderful service. One of the best places to eat in Greensboro. You don't feel rushed to eat and leave.
It was great! Wonderful service and the food was great!
Overall a good time. Our waiter was good. The food was fast and was delicious. I’d come again
Atmosphere was quite and relaxing. The service was great and very timely. I had the salmon entree which was fabulous. Great venue for a special dinner or event.
Enjoyed our anniversary dinner. The food was good. Truffle fries are amazing. Our server was amazing. They even had a gluten free bread option.
