   Yum on the exquisite flavors! Staff worked hard,but when the house filled by 7:30 they needed more than 2 servers. We look forward to returning for more good food like the crab risotto and felt mignon.

   Had the smoked pork chop and short rib for dinner. Pork chop is served medium rare (good thing), but didn't have a smoky flavor due to an over powering tamarind sauce. The sauce wasn't anything special - tasted similarly to a bottled sauced that can be obtained at the supermarket. No uniqueness to the flavor. The pole my served on the side is supposed to be crunchy, but when served it was soggy. The short rib was fine, nothing unique in terms of flavor, it is served with a pasta that tastes much better than the rib. The chorizo soup was delicious. The consistency/texture of the soup was great. It was a fluffy soup with great flavor. The beet salad was expected and it was good. Contains raw watercress - good. Also, the place is a labeled a tavern, but has nothing I do with an actual tavern. It sells itself as a nice romantic place with white linen tables. Was and still are confused as to the use of the term "tavern." The two dinner plates, two appetizers and two bourdeaux glasses came out to be be approx $100.

   very nicely done indoor decor. food was ok. I would not pay that much for a meatloaf. it is not a big portion meal. I was starting get very upset that all of the members of party felt that the food was coming out too slowly. the party next to us who sat nearly at the same time as us were done eating by the time our food came out. I always start timer on my phone whenever I eat out just to see how it takes for the food to come out. from the time we ordered it took 43min. yes it was Saturday evening but still.... I would not want to go back there especially with the high price tag... other services were ok. definitely not the servers.. but it was the management problem.

   1. The soup that they served was made long time ago. In a fine dining food should be made fresh. 2. They should know the cut of a fillet mignon and know the difference between rare and medium rare. 3. What is difference between a cook and a chef. Its not because food presentation is beatiful food will come up good!!!!

   The special, despite the recommendation by our server was served cold and frozen in the middle. The servings were small and no bread came with salads. We were disappointed.

   I was very happy with the food and my trip to Green Street Tavern. I will admit, I was suprised when being sat at my table by the NYE menu stating minimum $50 per person as this was not noted on the website or when my reservation was made via opentable.

   Unfortunately, the service did not live up to the food or the decor of the establishment. The decor was cozy, romantic, and creative. It could be a good spot to go on a date with your significant other. The food was good. The feedback among the group of gals I was with that night was very positive. The only caveat with this place is the service. The service wasn't too friendly. Our server act like she did not want to serve us or don't want to be there. We were confused on who exactly was our server. And when it was time to pay, they told us they do not split bills. It was a hassle if your with a large group, dividing each ones charges, plus the taxes, and the gratuity. If a much cheaper Mexican establisnment nearby can split the bill for us no problem, how come this "fancy" place cannot? Sadly, that was the last time we'll ever dine there.

   The seating is so cramped that i could hear every conversation. Some of them annoying, and experience-wreckers. Food was just okay. Had a rib-eye. The waiter wanted to tell me how i would like it prepared. I had to ask him three times, politely, to request it from the chef with my VERY simple four-word phrase: "pink, but not red." He then said "medium." I know that it seems picky, but I thought that the request was simple, and I have had chefs thank me for that. They know what it means, because medium means something different in many places. The chef got the steak right. They overcooked the vegetables to an indescribable mush. My wife had Salmon, which after the first bite she described as very salty. Parking was actually easy, 90 minutes free at the Delacey lot.

   We went there for a quick dine (this was our fifth visit). As expected service followed with great dishes. Gnocchi was excellent and steak delicious, never disappointed. Always recommend to try since you will never regret
