Green Street Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
The food was delicious, the ingredients were bright and fresh, the margaritas are great, they have a good beer selection, and the prices are reasonable. This is a good spot to take a date or have dinner with friends.Nice atmosphere as well - not super loud, appropriate lighting, comfortable seating.
Gotta dock a star because there were cloth napkins from the last people and a (wrapped) butter pat all on the floor under the table. To the server's and busser's credit, it was Valentine's day, right before closing, so I can only imagine that like everybody in the foodservice industry, they were probably exhausted. I've eaten here many times and that is the only issue I've ever had. Our server was friendly and helpful - I had already thrown out the butter so I did not give her a chance to remediate the issue.
Took my mom here for Valentines Day. Wonderful dinner. My mom had the salmon with whipped sweat potatoes - my mom loved it! I had the spicy shrimp with angel hair pasta - delicious!!! Their house made potato chips are really tasty ! Service was on point as usual. We definitely love the Green Street and it is always a pleasure to return.
We have dined at Green Street Restaurant many times and have never been disappointed with the food and service. Our waiter usually is Robert and he always goes out of his way to make sure to accommodate our friends needs because of her high allergies to several foods.
We had a nice birthday dinner with family at Green Street. Ironically I used to go there all the time for business lunches and had remembered the zucchini bread and thought my sister would like it. I had the steak tacos and they were fabulous. Tasted the bread pudding for dessert. The carrot cake was a little too chunky for me, but I liked it. The waiter was very attentive and we didn't have to wait long for anything. Thank you Green Street!
HUGE KUDOS to the hostess and her staff. My message to the restaurant when I made reservations was read and honored! Our seating arrangement for our large group was perfect.
HUGE KUDOS to our waitress..Excellent service, and without asking, gave each of us an individual bill for our luncheon. This is why Green St. is always a 5 star experience. Thank you!
Have loved Green Street since it actually WAS on Green Street. While I no longer live in the neighborhood, it's always nice to come back to a great menu. This visit was a get-together with friends who hadn't gathered together for years and it was a perfect place for a healthy and delicious lunch and great conversation. Our waiter was super helpful with suggestions and service. We will be back, but next time we might split one of the salads. Although the leftover was plenty for an ample dinner. Yum and thanks!
Everything was great except we were seated next to two young Moms with 4 children under the age of 5, they were rather noisy, ut after they left everything was perfect. I have 7grandchildren, so kids aren’t normally bothersome, it because of the age group they were bouncing on the booths and a little loud, no the restaurant problem.
First of all, it was New Years Eve....and reservations were hard to find.....even though I booked early! We did not know what to expect, but were pleased! No pre-fixe menu!!! We ordered 4 different entrees....one being their special salad, which was very good! Our server was very sweet, friendly, and helpful! Drinks and wine were good, as was our calamari appetizer. The breads were delicious! We bought a loaf of their zucchini bread....which was very good! They sliced it for us and added packs of butter when we said we were taking it to the parade the next day! Nice friendly spot!
Rose Bowl. Andy our waiter was awesome!!
Food was delicious and lots of it !! Zucchini bread amazing. Bacon dates incredible. Nice ambiance. Everyone of our group of 6 loves it! Will be back. Wine was great. Chopped steak was great. Goat cheese smashed potatoes to die for. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go dawgs!!!
I eat here on a regular basis, but my colleagues (4 professors) were all eating here for the first time. As always, the food was extremely well prepared. I've actually never had a bad dish here and I've eaten at this restaurant for at least 25 years or more. A new item - walnut ice cream -- which completely thrills me since I am from the Midwest and grew up on Black walnut ice cream, which this is very similar to -- not too sweet. I hope you keep it. Of course, I bought my requisite jar of Dianne dressing to take away which I always buy every two weeks.
Beautiful spot away from the hustle and bustle of Lake. Fantastic service, yummy food, reasonable prices, really can’t ask for more. Had the Kale Diane salad which was amazing, a perfect blend of sweet and tangy dressing on well chopped kale, the corn cakes (like buttermilk pancakes with sweet corn inside), eggs, and toast. Everything was good, and we’re very picky eaters! We’ll be back.
We very much enlisted this restaurant , on Sunday . There was six of us ranging in age from 81 to 26 . The service was excellent, our server even moved our table , because s few got cold . We sat outside . The entrees were plated nicely . The food was fresh and tasty . The service was friendly and efficient.
At Green Street I know the meal will be delectable, prices reasonable and service excellent. They change the menu options frequently enough that going there is never boring! That being said you can always find there specialty items; Diane Salad, zucchini bread to name a couple on the menu. Guaranteed good meal!
