Missed it on the first time past, it's not easy to see at night. Worth the effort to go around. Service was good, food was as well and the evening was very pleasant.

I hadn't been there in years but will absolutely go back again soon. The best part was our server Cara D.

Food was excellent, wine list was good, service was good (made reservations, got stuck in traffic, reservations canceled by restaurant), decor and ambiance was good. Would we come back? Yes.

We had a lovely lunch with an old friend. The wait staff were helpful to check if the pasta dish had any bacon or ham and returned to tell us it has only chipotle flavoring, so o.k. for us. It was quiet enough for us to talk, after the receptionist seated us in a quiet corner. You have only to ask, at Green Street Restaurant, and they are very happy to say yes, "We can do that!"

Our party of four were there for dinner, our first experience, although we have been there many times for lunch. The salads are excellent and provide an ample meal. Most can be ordered in one of 3 sizes, which is great as even the smallest is a meal. Three of us had salads while one other had snapper with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables, which he pronounced to be excellent. The zucchini bread is a nice touch. We ordered a very reasonably priced bottle of wine from a nice selection. Service was a little slow, but we had allowed plenty of time for a leisurely meal before departing for a concert. But one should be aware of the time issue if there is a need to hurry.

Conveniently located near the Pasadena Playhouse, we were pleasantly surprised at just how wonderful Green Street Restaurant. A wonderful variety of dishes, including outstanding guacamole served with warm tortilla chips. YUM! Excellent food, terrific service, delightful atmosphere, all at reasonable prices. Who could ask for anything more???

Green Street always has excellent service and good seasonal dishes. However, they provide no gluten free options - they are sadly behind the dietary needs of many individuals. When asked, they don't even try to help figure out what is safe to eat. They always seem bothered and annoyed.

Met for a business meeting on Saturday afternoon - Food was reasonably priced and delicious. Service was a little slow but on the upside they left us alone as we discussed our project.

My work group came during the lunch hour, so it was a bit busy and packed. We were seated right away, since I had a reservation. Our waitress took our order promptly. I'm glad she did, because it took a long time to get our food, despite the fact that most of my party ordered salads. The waitress was not very attentive, and only asked once if we needed anything, despite that fact that we needed several things. The food was great though, but they need to work on their staff.

I have loved Green Street for many years and have never been disappointed by the food until this visit. The Dianne Salad seemed to be yesterday's leftovers, or maybe the day before. Not fresh at all to the point of being shameful. Then our waiter neglected to bring the bread and went on break. As a long time customer I will return and assume there will be no need to complain about the freshness of the salad, but if this had been my first experience, I would not go back.

I haven't been there in quite some time. The Diane Salad and the zucchini bread were just as wonderful as remembered. Nice that they have the small salad size, which was perfectly sufficient for lunch. I do wish they validated for parking, but really, $4 wasn't too much for an unhurried lunch.

Food and service excellent as usual. I ordered a glass of Riesling and the waitress was able to discurso that it was probably too dry for me, gave me a taste, and then took it back when I confirmed her suspicion. The Joe’s Special was great and remind me of dining at Joe’s in SFO many years ago. I keep coming back to Green St. Cafe and expect to continue to do so.

We had a great lunch on their nice sunny patio and really enjoyed it. Great starters and yummy margaritas. Will return when in town. Would be nice if they would validate parking like all of the other stores that use their parking garages.

I have been going to Green Street for more than 30 years, since it was actually on Green Street. The Lake location has gradually taken on a more sophisticated-casual look and menu, but my faves are still the Diane Salad and Charlie's Breakfast with zucchini bread. The zucchini bread is a must. Too bad they don't validate parking but there is usually free 90 minute parking in a public lot across the street.

Good sandwiches; Ruben and Pork tenderloin, the arugula beet salad I had came drenched in dressing which made it completely unpalatable. Really wish I had ordered something else.

My Husband, Mom and I went to Green Street on Sunday evening and sat in the Patio. It was nice out there and quieter than inside the restaurant. I want to praise the waitperson for the service we received. She was outstanding; very attentive, kind and professional. It made our experience very nice!

Visited here and really liked it. Sort of hidden from street view, but not necessarily a bad thing. I loved the food; everything I tasted was delicious and the meal itself was hearty and tasty. Service was good as well and the noise level luckily didn't get out of hand.

Wonderful, casual dinner spot with delicious food and great service. They have a full bar with good cocktails, reasonably priced wine list and consistently well-done food. I have had the Kale Diane salad the last two visits, which is similar to a Chinese chicken salad except better, such crunchy and fun texture! My husband and mom loved their porch chops. We tried several desserts, and all of them were great. You know what you're getting, and it keeps us coming back for more!
