The food and service were both great - as expected!
Good and service always good. Ordered the famous Diane salad and it was yummy.
Excellent and humongous salads...loved the Diana chicken with almonds, noodles and light dressing. Best zucchini bread ever...and they sell loaves to go.
The food at Green Street is consistently delicious. The service was a bit slow but it was a busy time and we understand that COVID has impacted the available workforce. Our service person was helpful, polite and professional.
Everything was excellent as usual. One of my all time favorite places to eat in Pasadena.
Excellent food, very pleasant patio dining, with great service.
As I remembered, Green Street was a wonderful breakfast location with wonderful zucchini bread and meal choices.
Food is always great. Love the service, too.
We’re huge fans of Green St. We often bring friends who are not familiar with the neighborhood so they can get a taste of what Pasadena has to offer. Food was exceptional as always. Our friends who were first timers LOVED their food.
The table we were at felt a little tight but we made it work. I’ve never said this before but our service was on the slow side this time around. I can see our server was always on the run and doing what he was suppose to so I can’t really blame him for the slower than usual service. Perhaps he just had more responsibilities than one can handle to service his tables in a timely manner. Overall, we still had a great experience and would definitely recommend Green St anytime.
Birthday. Our server gave the birthday girl a loaf of zucchini bread! Lovely generous gesture.
My friend was running late due to car trouble and our server couldn’t have been nicer about it! Great place to meet up for yummy salads and great conversations. A special place!
Our meeting between old friends could not have happened in a better place.
Great brunch! Mimosa was a very generous pour in a big goblet and I appreciate that!
We've been dining at GS for more than 20 years now. The Mexican ceasar salad has been one of our favorite dishes, however, on our most recent visit, the dressing was off - way too much anchovy taste and not enough chipotle. It was not the same salad that we remember prior to Covid. The corn was also omitted by mistake. Maybe the cook was having of "off" day. We hope the recipe hasn't changed. We will be back and hope to try it again to find out.
Food was fantastic! Great variety.
Second time we were at Green Street Restaurant and were not disappointed. Food good and as were the choices especially Lunch and late breakfast.
My only criticism is your choice of Reisling which is St. Michelle which is very disappointing for your restaurant considering your other wines are a better choice and not even by the glass.
We are never disappointed with Green Street. The service and food are always FANTASTIC!!
Wide assortment of excellent food. Great service. A Pasadena gem for decades!
We both had the vegetable and eggs dish; neither of us finished it. It was like cold vegetables with very little egg white. Never received our zucchini bread -- we had to ask for it when paying the check -- took it to go. Waitress seemed distracted.
We had a lovely dinner! Food was excellent. We sat outside on the patio for a couple of hours. Great service.
Always a lovely place for lunch -- we enjoyed our soup, salad, sandwiches and fries. And the patio was perfect on a warm fall day. Thanks.
always outstanding. Never a disappointment. Good value, great service and friendly, efficient wait staff.
My food not cooked correctly. Server offered a new one but it would take time. Meanwhile my guests already served and eating. They would have finished and my sides cold by the time it was replaced. One guest had a service dog who happily devoured my steak. I had a meal of mashed potatoes and cold vegetables. Server offered zero alternatives. I paid bill but won’t return.
Always enjoy the salads
Green Street has a great menu. Food and service were good. My only issue was that cars waiting for pickup park right in front of the restaurant entrance almost block the entryway. No cars can park near the restaurant but these cars make it very unsafe for pedestrians walking into restaurant. I almost got hit be someone who was very rude to me when I walking in entryway so watch yourself and cars as you enter.
The service was impeccable as always. I feel that the quality and portion of food as decreased slightly. I am disappointed that some of the menu items have disappeared (hopefully temporarily) from the menu such as the quinoa and poached eggs.
However, despite all of the above, it’s still our go to place for weekend breakfast/brunch.
Our server was super helpful with dish choices and description of the meals. Very satisfied with our choices: seasonal butternut pasta and pastrami with apples sandwich. Great meal before the theater!
Had made a reservation for an outdoor table and were seated quickly. The menu is large and includes many appetizers, entrees, large salads, burgers, sandwiches, a few pastas, and bowls. My husband is a picky eater but can always find something here. Sometimes he goes for Steak Dianne, or a club sandwich, or a salad. I've enjoyed the beet, arugula, goat cheese salad, spicy shrimp tacos, and Cobb salad with citrus dressing. It's a family owned restaurant and has a nice feel to it.
Patio is lovely
Green Street offers a large variety of wonderful food. I decided to have the hamburger last night and it was exactly what I was looking for. DEEEElicious.
Bit of a wait, but to be expected for Sunday brunch and wanting only outdoor seating. Great customer service at host station, good menu options, and solid service. We left happy!
I usually have the Dianne salad which I love and the zucchini bread. This time I tried something new and had the chicken and papaya quesadillas which were amazing. The parmesean chicken entree was delicious and the cocktails. Highly recommend and pleasantly surprised.
Our table was available at the correct time; wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable , and efficient . Food arrived promptly . My friend and I had not seen each other in a long time and staff let us sit and visit over coffee after lunch for quite a while. So nice to do this again .,,,, finally!! Thank you!!
I enjoyed a Friday lunch at Green Street Restaurant with my friend The bbq salmon cobb salad I ordered was sensational. He very much enjoyed his reuben sandwich. Our waitress was attentive, pleasant and efficient. Overall a positive dining experience.
Dined with wife and daughter. Very crowded but noise level not a problem and service excellent. Diane salad, club sandwich and beef tacos all very good There is a reason it is so crowded . They know what they are doing.
Beautiful day out on the patio.
Loved the BBQ Salmon and flatbread and zucchini bread. Service was ideal. We sat outside but heater made it work. Parked a block away and shopping area 90 mins free parking, seemed to be the best option. Hats off to this great place
Great chicken parm
Always a pleasure eating at this family-owned and operated restaurant. Everyone is friendly and the food is always good. We highly recommend starting with the handmade potato chips and sauces, and the stuffed dates.
