Green Street Restaurant
We enjoyed our meal with friends we haven’t seen in nearly 30 years-they thoroughly enjoyed the experience as well.
Always a great restaurant.. for some reason very very busy on Sunday night...
Varied menu fit needs and interest of all 5 of us, the Kobe beef burger is so tasty!!!
Green St is our local, go-to place -it's always great for any occasion -friends, family, quick meal for me andy husband. We live 5 minutes walk away and love it.
Rainy day...warm and cozy... great service and lobster bisque!
The potato chips are amazing. Who knew. The snapper was great and the flank steak great. Of course the zucchini bread was great.
We have our favorites at Green Street - the Diane salad and zucchini bread are what we crave most. I’m a bit disappointed with this trip. My glass had lipstick on the rim - extra gross when you don’t use straws. I don’t know if the waiter got upset when I pointed this out nicely and asked for new water, but he wasn’t super friendly. It was my Mom’s birthday and he didn’t acknowledge it even though it was obvious that we were celebrating an event by the gifts. We were there in December for my daughter’s birthday and the waiter brought her ice cream and a candle. It’s the little extra service that makes a big difference in the whole experience. Overall, I would still go back because of that amazing salad.
I have been going to Green Street since they opened and they never disappoint. Always good food and great service.
Once again, Green Street came through as one of our best venues for Valentine's Day, with lots of options and extremely attentive wait service.
Some of us from the Happy Hour menu which was an excellent value. The Sage Parmesan chicken is excellent as were the Happy Hour tacos.
Green St. is one of the few places where we can dine and carry on a conversation!
Thank you for the great service. My mother and I come regularly for lunch.
I had a very good entreé of grilled salmon with steamed, buttered spinach and smashed potatoes. The potatoes, made with some feta cheese, were excellent. My friend had a fine mixed salad with very fresh ingredients. Overall, we were pleased with the quality and presentation.
Great food. Great people. Great ambiance. I always love my visits.
We had a great time at the 40th celebration--fabulous food, drinks and company. Then we stayed for dinner and as always the food and service is first-rate.
Love the food (this was our second time there), and even though it was crowded our server was attentive.
Green Street has been around for 40 years-always consistent.
Our server was excellent! She was pleasant , and very efficient
Very good food at reasonable prices. So so ambience.
We always enjoy the food at Green Street, particularly their delicious salads and zucchini bread. Yesterday, we tried the homemade potato chips and home made onion and ranch dips as a lunch appetizer- well worth it! The lunch time is busy so our server was a bit overwhelmed with too many tables. Otherwise, we had a very nice meal.
Perfect place for brunch. Big menu selection for breakfast & lunch. We’ll definitely come back. Con: they don’t validate for parking. ($10 maximum)
Went for breakfast. Go eat breakfast! Get the amazing zucchini bread. Tea is served with honey and lemon with a warm mug. Lovely. Great service. Ambiance is adequate. Nothing special, but the food makes that moot. Go when it’s nice out & sit outside.
Our wait person was great. She was pleasant and courteous. Let her know how terrific we think she is.
This restaurant remains a favorite of mine. I've reviewed this place previously, and it never fails to delight me with great, attentive staff along with stunning food and a wide drink selection.
Delicious food and excellent customer service!
Service and ambiance was excellent. The food was okay.
Perfect place for a wonderful brunch. Terrific and varied menu. Highly recommended.
Very good food. Butternut squash soup was excellent! Salad portions are very generous.
Service was friendly but don’t forget to bring more water. We may have been a little overlooked since we were sitting in the “bar” area. We will be back.
Food was excellent, and great service .
Lots of choices for a vegetarian
Just about everything I’ve had at Green Street has been very good. Service is always good.
I’ve eaten there many times.
Always a pleasant experience at Green Street. Breakfast is creative and delicious, service is quite good.
Lovely atmosphere, super service, great variety on the menu, great setting. I highly recommend the Green Goddess Sandwich.
The seafood kebobs are now slathered in a sauce that completely ruins the fish and everything else on the plate
We went with friends after the movies on a Saturday night in mid-January. An indoor table would have involved a wait of 15 minutes or more, so we were glad to be seated on the patio under two heat lamps. Everyone was happy with his/her food. One of us had the steak and Dianne, but instead of the Dianne was able to substitute roasted Brussels sprouts. One had chicken pasta, while his wife had the steak sandwich on a bed of lettuce instead of bread. I had the ahi tuna burger with a side of fruit. We enjoyed being offered sparkling water from the tap at no additional cost. The prices are a little higher than at The Counter next door, which we also love, but for an extended dinner conversation, Green Street wins by a small margin.
They are know for their Diane salad. I tried the Ragu to try something new and it was too oily.
Had Party of 7 . Good service. Food is always good.
My pancakes arrived without butter or syrup. The waiter took so long to bring them that the pancakes were cold and the butter didn't melt on them. Food was good, though.
This was a family luncheon that everyone enjoyed immensely. Some of us had never been but a few of us have been many times and new it would not disappoint. They are famous for their salads ( the Diane Salad is their signature and a popular favorite) and their delicious house-made zucchini bread. I recommend getting at least one slice (many menu items come with a couple of slices on the side) or getting a loaf to share and/or take home. There is a parking garage located right next door, for which the restaurant does validate. The food is always good and so is the service.
As usual the food was very good, however the service was less than stellar
Service was a little slow. Due to a very busy Friday night and it looked like a shortage of waiters.
