The Green Park Brasserie occupies the old booking hall of Green Park Station, built by the Midland Railway in 1870 and used jointly with the Somerset and Dorset Railway from 1874, closed in 1966 and now magnificently restored. It is located within a quarter of a mile of the city centre and has the fantastic advantage of an hour and a half's free parking through the day. The Braz is dedicated to serving quality food and wines at reasonable prices in an informal yet professional style. The ambience is warm, friendly and lively; the style of cuisine eclectic English. The braz is also famous for it's five evenings of live music every week, featuring the best of local, live jazz and acoustic music. The lunch menu is served from 12 to 2.45 offering a range of food, from local organic beefburgers to salads and specials. From 6pm to 7pm a fixed price menu offers value with three choices or more per course and the à la carte ensures there is always a wide range of dishes.

WE HAD A VERY GOOD MEAL BUT MY DAUGHTER WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH THE gluten free selection available. They did not offer any starters only olives. It would have been better to have had a separate gluten free menu rather than a list of the original menu ingredients which only emphasised the limited choice. Love the music there and the staff were very helpful - third visit there and will go again when in the city - we live in Essex so not local.

Table allocated was unsatisfactory, a move was refused, food was adequate, service was perfunctory although staff were stretched to cope, very disappointing after 30 years as a customer, the new owners will not see me or my friends/family again...

This was our first meal in Bath after arriving from a long day of train travel. We had skipped lunch and so were famished. We started with a sharing plate of olives, eggplant, artichoke hearts, bread and pesto. It was very good. My wife had the sole and I had the steak with au poivre, both were excellent. We had no room left for dessert. The service was friendly and very caring - they really wanted to be sure they had gotten it right. I would happily return here in the future. Note that they have live music certain nights. Unfortunately, we dined too early to hear it, as it starts at 8:15 PM. Next time!

We have often visited the Brasserie and love the ambience created by the music but the band on the evening of our last visit was just much too loud for the venue. We couldn't hear each other speak, so it spoilt the evening. The food was good and the waiting staff were pleasant but kept us waiting quite a long time for the bill.

We enjoyed a Friday night dinner here. Food had some interesting combinations that worked. Carpaccio was great and my steak cooked perfectly medium rare. Wine was reasonably priced and enjoyable. The Australian Shriaz we had was perfect. The live Jazz creates a lively and fun atmosphere. The staff are friendly and the service informal. I would recommend.

Really great visit to Green Park Brasserie once again - last visited about 3-4 years ago when spending a weekend in Bath. Good value "Early diners" special menu as well as a great Jazz band which gave the venue a great atmosphere. I understand that they have live jazz several times each week from different bands, and if I lived nearby would definitely frequent here regularly.

Food not very exciting, cous cous was cold in one dish and chips with a steak were reheated not cooked fresh. Portion sizes not large

My friends and I were here for Sunday lunch. We had Sunday roast. We got to select the seats that we wanted. The waiter was very polite and friendly. We were impressed by the service. We also love the vegetables.
