Konstantinos, John and Christopher Kostas recently opened a second location in the prestigious Preston Hollow neighborhood. Their first location opened in Plano Texas 22 years ago. Konstantinos and his sons are very passionate about their culinary heritage bringing a piece of their native isle Euboea in Eastern Greece. The menu offers an array of traditional dishes from the isles and the main land, such as Gyro, Moussaka, Souvlaki, Lamb Shank, Lamb chops and fresh salads made with select produce. Our Preston and Royal location offers a full bar with crafted cocktails and a well designed wine list that compliments our Greek cuisine. Private and banquet rooms are available for any occasion, as well as patio dinning. OPA!

I believe it was the owners son that served us and he was a delight. We ordered 3 apps, he brought out a 4th on the house, asked if we needed anything else with our entrees like more veg, and brought a while side out at no charge. We were stuffed and had to get to go boxes but he still brought out a beautiful fresh fruit plate and some authentic individual desserts- amazing! Excellent food and service and a memorable experience- thanks for reminding us what true customer service is!!

                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Creative menu with dishes that were unique from most Greek restaurants that we have frequented. Some highlights include their calamari, gyros (100% lamb and not mixed with beef) so outstandingly tender, snapper, Veal Manitaria (sauteed veal cutlet with mushroom wine sauce), Dolmas Avgolemono (meat dolmas), Saganaki (fried Romano cheese that was flambeed at tableside), Greek salad, Moussaka (tasted more like eggplant lasagna), Rack of Lamb Taverna, and Baklava Ice Cream. We had a great bottle of wine. We would like to go back and try their Galactobouriko (Greek custard in phyllo) and their lamb shank along with their Greek coffee.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Our family wanted to visit this Greek restaurant because we love everything Greek and especially the food and people. We were celebrating Fathers Day a couple of days early. Sadly it was probably the worst restaurant experience we have all had. And we have dined extensively. Our calamari came and was fine. The salad was ok although the tomatoes had the core still attached. We waited almost 1 hour and 15 minutes for our entres. After we found our waitress, our food arrived a few minutes later and it was cold. Not room temperature but seriously refrigerator cold. The French fries were hot. We couldn’t eat the food and called the waitress over and ended up talking to the manager. He said that the food had been delivered to the wrong table and we never really understood what happened but it was nevertheless late and very cold. The manager still charged us for the one glass of wine and the French fries. We thought he should have compted it all but we paid and left. They did give us some desserts to take which was kind but it was an unfortunate experience.

Unfortunately, my vegetables on my "salad plate" all tasted the same. The flavors ran together and were covered in a peppery spice which made them unappealing. The Greek potato had no discernable flavor (other than the sprinkling of spice) and when I squeezed a bit of lemon on it, it helped. The gyros meat that I ordered on the side was soft and a bit bland. My companion ordered a gyros wrap and was satisfied. His pre-meal salad could have used some more lettuce, it looked a little naked, and the tomato core should have been trimmed away. The staff was friendly and efficient. The noise level was very low, which was lovely. I will go back, but will definitely order something else.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                          I am sorry to say that this is the worst place I have been in the last 3-5 years. We went for lunch and there was nobody there but us. The greeter/waiter was nice and cordial but the place is very outdated, dirty and dark. The food was extremely bland and tasted like precooked meals. I will never go back.
