Graziella's Italian Bistro Ratings and Reviews
The service was excellent and the kitchen accommodating to individuals with specific requirements. For example, the lasagna was vegetarian based and another dish was delicious even when changed to vegetarian.
When a dish was shared, the kitchen did the sharing and made everything simple. On an aside,
the bread was delicious
We are always very pleased with our meals. The food is fresh, prepared to perfection and beautifully served. The restaurant is out of the main stream of White Plains and has always been worthwhile finding. There was a parking lot across from the restaurant and it made for easy parking. Unfortunately it is now not usable which will make it difficult to dine here as there are limited street spaces available.
Being of Italian origin, it is probably difficult for me
to rate an Italian Restaurant. An exceptional italian
restaurant for me is one that specializes in regional dishes. The food at Graziella’s was made from good
Quality ingredients and stuck to classical southern italian dishes. They were well prepared and could not be criticized. The portions were too large. If they were smaller, I would hope that the prices would be reduced in consequence. Service was slow on a Saturday night and the noise level
way too high.
Been here before and wasn't all that impressed so we figured we'd try it again. Same impression. We went with another couple who love it here. The waiter seemed to be rushing us to order. Maybe he thought he was being attentive. My eggplant rollatini tasted dry inside. Veal dish was ok. The other couple enjoyed their meal but they also felt rushed. No one took anything home.
Enjoyed the cappuccino so much we ordered another.
Unless we dine with this couple again who like it here, we won't be back.
It was a mixed bag really. After waiting for an hour and fifteen minutes for our appetizers, they ended up giving them to us for free after we became very irritated. The items on the hot appetizer platter were mostly just lukewarm when they arrived. The service was slow, but it was not the fault of the dining room staff, but a clogged up kitchen that seems to have been understaffed. However, there were several empty tables. The food was basic Italian-American, not great, not bad. The veal Saltimbocca lacked any hint of sage, a key ingredient in the dish. The best thing was the Zeppole (freshly made doughnuts) that the staff gave us for free as well. The wait staff worked diligently to try to salvage the meal, but in the end, the kitchen came up short. Probably best to avoid the weekends and go on a quiet weeknight.
On Sunday, September 10, 2017, I celebrated the birthday of my fiancé, Kathy at Graziella's. We found Graziella's to be absolutely amazing!!! We found our meals to be delicious and well-made and the service provided by our waiters to be superb. Graziella's staff really go out of their way to make sure you are well-fed, well served and thus well taken care of.
Their restaurant is really clean and is located at nice quiet area in White Plains New York. Graziella's also has free accessible parking.
Graziella's made both Kat & I feel right at home, did a wonderful job in freely storing and presenting my birthday cake for Kat and even sung touching rendition of "Happy Birthday" to her.
We definitely recommend for everyone to visit Graziella's.!!!
The food was good, but we were there just shy of two hours before our dinners came out. Even with an appetizer, it was an excessive wait - with no updates as to when our meals would be out. People who were seated after us got their meals first. I felt we were ignored and it even took awhile for me to flag someone down for more water. If you wanted more wine, good luck!
First time here for a dinner with friends that we do 4 other 5 times a year. It's a critical crew and we all were very satisfied with our meals. The service was great . The only disappointment was the Caesar Salad, dressing was too heavy. Everything else was well done. We are already planning to go back for our next get together.
Graziella's is my favorite restaurant in White Plains. However, a recent visit there was disappointing and I hope it was just a blip. I went there for lunch with 4 others. Most of us ordered iced tea which was not good at all and we had them take it back. They brought us a new batch which was fine. Then the waiter got our order wrong several times.
We moved into the neighborhood three and a half months ago and have eaten here four times. This past visit, I ordered a Caesar Salad that was prepared at our table and was delicious. The three of us each ordered pasta for our main courses, and all were generous portions and were excellent. The staff was very pleasant.
Our guest was celebrating her birthday, and I asked our waiter to bring a tortoni cut up with a candle, and two waiters came with the tortoni and sang Happy Birthday.
The restaurant has an outdoor sidewalk seating area and a good sized dining room with the tables spaced sufficiently apart, so your conversation is private.
It is a nice neighborhood place to eat.
Just returned from Italy two weeks ago and was craving Italian food. We had not been there for some time so picked it from choice of quite a few (some new) restaurants in White Plains. Good ambiance. Experienced wait staff. Food was very good. Interesting dessert menu. If you want a quick meal, this is not the place to go... we waited half an hour for our (delicious) salad, and an hour after that for our (also delicious) main course. The wait was a bit too long. Otherwise, this is a nice place to have dinner.
