We really enjoyed our meal here. It was phenomenal. The service was spot on too.
We had two specials - a seafood Cioppino which was delectable and perfectly prepared. And the langostino in a white sauce that was beautifully plated and even more delicious than it looked. We also had a mousse cake dessert that was heavenly. We're from out of town and the food was the best I've had since I lived in Las Vegas. That's a big compliment.
Now I hate to be picky. Because I liked this place a lot and if I'm ever in Seattle again I would definitely come back.
My only concern has to do with the seating. The space really is too small but they do a good job covering that up with artfully placed screens. That worked, except at our table. Our screen wasn't like the others, which were solid. Ours wasn't, perhaps because we were in the center of the room and that would've felt too closed. I get it.
But unfortunately We were literally sitting right next to another couple. We could hear every word they said and I'm sure they could hear every word we said.
This was especially troubling as we had made reservations at opentable and had told them it was our anniversary.
It would have been really nice to have a bit more privacy, especially since the other couple was seated after many of the other patrons had already left.
I would suggest the restaurant get another screen for this table, perhaps one with a clear material to be able to see through it but still be more of a sound barrier.
I did feel that the entire restaurant was artfully arranged and I loved the design. I could tell a lot of thought went into the design here so I hate to complain, but this was definitely a detraction. I felt like I couldn't talk to my husband at our anniversary dinner. A bit of a bummer.
Otherwise I would give it five stars.
They still get four for stellar service and scrumptious food hot from the pan.
We were seated immediately and give a choice of where to sit. Staff was welcoming and friendly and offered help but gave us space to talk and never really felt in a hurry even later when the place filled up. I would definitely return.
Great people and amazing food. We were so glad to find this restaurant. We would go back.
Service was outstanding. The young server knew her Italian wines quite well and suggested very good options. Food was delicious and very well prepared.
Great as always!
There were six of us. We had a lovely, attentive waitress and service was perfect. The meals were delicious and the fine array of desserts were hard to resist.
Excellent lunch, foods and service with our friends, we will be back
It may be small and hidden but the service and food are truly worth going. April made us feel so welcomed. We tried something new all 3 times while visiting Tukwila. Brought friends the 3rd time and they too fell in love. You won't be disappointed.
I love this place! Every time I am in town I head here for great food. Never had a thing here that I did not like. Last nigh was no different. Service is wam friendly and attentive. They have a passion for hospitality and good food. Well done.
Consistently a very good meal. New wine menu takes getting used to as it is categorized by region and not type of wine. Moderate price increase noted as of late.
Still, the food is excellent. Pastas are wonderfully rich, the seafood entrées are fresh and plentiful. The starter bread has a wonderfully infused garlic and herbs in it that have an interesting bite to it. Pair it all with a wonderful wine and company - you're in for a treat.
Small and cozy restaurant - there's a reason it's always packed in there...
AmaIng food & service!
Thank you for a great birthday dinner
Great food and service.... as usual. Our family always enjoys Grazie.
This is the gem of south seattle I-5 corridor dining. In an area over crowded with corporate restaurant blah — Grazie really stands out from the crowd despite its tiny strip mall presence. The food is lovely, comforting, consistent and speedy if you need it like that. If you have the time though Fernando and team will take you on a delicious food and wine tour! My boyfriend brought me about 3 years ago but he and his brother Nick have been regulars for 10+ years. It’s my favorite date night or family dinner without dishes!
I always enjoy eating here. I go with my best friend, my family, my girlfriends...it's just a great place to relax, have great food and a good conversation. The staff is always friendly and there is parking!
Nice Italian restaurant in Renton, WA neighborhood. .
It’s my favorite restaurant. We always have a wonderful meal. My husband says it’s the best lasagna he’s ever had.
Visiting Seattle from Michigan (Job Hunting). Found Grazie through Yelp, read a couple reviews and decided to give it a chance. The restaurant is a little hard to find, tucked back in a small strip mall next to a Men's Warehouse, however it is worth the effort. We made a reservation, so there was no wait time. Our server (maybe the owner?) gave us excellent recommendations, seafood alfredo and chicken parm, with wine paired perfectly. The atmosphere is inviting, the chefs work in an open kitchen and were impressively working hard with smiles on their faces. If we do end up living in Seattle, we will be back.
Had a special date dinner here quite a few years back, and now we "had to" eat here again with our 7 year old! :-) food and service were just as we remembered all those years ago too! Everything is great thanks!! We had lasagna and a special that was recommended by the waitress but not even on the menu and my wife loved it. Even our daughter wanted the pasta instead of her chicken 😊
Second time I’ve been to this restaurant and it was great once again. Wonderful food.
FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. FIRST TIME VISIT. IT WAS TRULY INCREDIBLE. WILL COME BACK AGAIN FOR SURE!!
Loved celebrating our wedding anniversary at our favorite Italian Restaurant. Fabulous meal & service. Grazie ♥
I really love this place, I really think the waitresses are wonderful, the chef is wonderful and the manager Fer Torres is really wonderful. I will always come here every time I am in town.
We’ve never had a bad meal or experience at Grazie. The lamb chops were delicious. It’s one of our go to restaurants.
Great service and food is good too. This was a second time to dine here and will be back.
Very friendly and nice folks and very good good. Try the steak Gorganzola, very tasty and pefectly cooked.
The food was wonderful, however, our waitress did a great job in taking care of us and providing great conversation with us.
Delicious food, wine and dessert! Very personable wait staff.
We love Grazie, it never disappoints! We highly recommend it to everyone we know!
Great food, service and selection.
Hidden Gem! I’ve passed Grazie thousands of times but never bothered to stop by or see what the restaurant is about. After seeing sooo many good reviews I had to stop by and get my Italian fix on a Saturday night. The restaurant is right next to Men’s Warehouse in the Southcenter area by all the shopping and parking was extremely easy.
Once inside the restaurant was busy! Lightly dimmed it, romantic decor, although small it felt “homey”! When I made my reservation you have an option of seating (standard, counter, high top), I opted for standard seating not knowing where the high top or counter tables were located but the high top tables are located in a small bar like section right when you entry and the counter seating is directly in front of the chefs preparing your food - next time I’ll opt for counter seating!
Service was great and speedy, the menu was extensive and everything looked amazing; I had the Cannelloni and my bf had the Rack of Lamb both were flavorful and delicious! After your meal the server comes out with the “dessert menu” literally a tray displaying all of the dessert they have and you simply pick the dessert you’d like and viola in a couple minutes it comes out! I had the tiramisu which has a strong espresso taste but I love espresso so it was perfect for me!
Will definitely be back next time!
Was our first time and was not disappointed. You can tell the staff love what they do. Very knowledgeable.
Great food and atmosphere. The service was exceptional as well. 10/10 recommend. Will be coming back!
Always delicious food, seafood is fresh, expert seasonings and sauces. Service is always attentive and prompt. Nice to see a restaurant run expertly.
I've been there before, but usually for pasta. We all ordered off their daily special menu. I was told the rack of lamb was delish. I had a seafood medley with halibut, calimari, prawns served with pasta that was very flavorful. And the dessert??? Yummm! There was a key lime w white chocolate that was light and very tasty, and I had a berry tart...also very good.
I will be back!
The filet gorgonzola never fails to impress. It was delicious if a bit small. The serving of carrots and beans was generous and very well prepared. We started with caprese. Seems that every time we are they they have changed up the preparation. It was all good. The service was excellent and not invasive on our conversation.
The best Italian food I have had in the Seattle Area!
When I made the reservation it asked what occasion & I marked birthday. There was NO acknowledgement for a birthday so we sang our own song & bought our own desserts. A disappointment as we were trying to make a fun outing for our son's girlfriend. The salmon was so-so & the spinach was like big globs of yuk! I finally just pulled it out of my pasta. The staff was nice & the service was good. It was able to accommodate gluten free also. I would not go back however! Too many really good restaurants out there to pick from.
Cant say enough great things about this place. Excellence its the commonality across service, ambiance, food and wine selection. They make sure you enjoy your dinner, regardless or a every day dinner or a special occasion. Whenever crazing delicious Italian food, this is the place to go.
This was our third trip pto Grazie and our meals were just as delicious as always. I wish their prices could be lower, we would make the trip more often. Staff is always friendly and attentive.
Been coming to Grazie”s for years, either with or without our kids. Great food, large portions, authentic Italian. The friendly Staff is ultra efficient in getting people seated. Service is very fast. Best rack of lamb in town! Great desserts. Make a reservation unless just for 2. Everyone looking for a great, fillings yet excellent quality Italian meal knows about this gem!
