This is a cozy neighborhood place with friendly service, but the tables are crowded and the restaurant is dark. The sautéed calimari made a tasty appetizer. The main dishes took at least 30 minutes to arrive. My ‘veal marsala’ was dry and tough, and after several bites I figured out why - the waiter brought me chicken Marsala instead, and it was some of the most over-cooked chicken I’ve had. Because it was so dark at our table, and the dish was so smothered in oil, it took a while to figure out what on earth I was eating. By the time the waiter checked on us, we were half finished with our entrees, and there was no way we could wait another half hour for a replacement. So not only did they make the wrong dish for me, but they did not offer to take it off the check, and the meal I did not order was neither tasty nor well-prepared.
The bill was also surprisingly high for the quality of food and the crowded setting. I’ve had worse, but one can do much better for the money.
This restaurant was such a fun and delicious experience. We were able to make a reservation for the same day, and we were seated right away when we arrived. April was so knowledgeable about the menu, and gave us wonderful recommendations through all the courses of our meal, as well as shared some really great stories about the restaurant with us. We will definitely be coming back, and we're looking forward to the day. :-)
One of the best restaurants ever!!!
restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, the service is quick ad friendly. The menu is interesting, good extra options
Always been a dare night place for my wife and I. The chicken saltimboca this particular night was probably the best meal I have ever had there. And, their bread and oil that they serve while you wait is also the best.
The cheese plate was not that great but the entree was delicious. Best part is you are presented with the actual dessert options before you pick your choice.
Food and service were excellent as always. The dipping oil for the bread was a highlight as always. Had the filet w/ gorgonzola and pasta and fresh vegetables.
This place was average for me. I had the spinach salad which had all the makings of being delicious if it wasn’t dripping with dressing. I mean dripping. The spinach was so wilted from it it looked cooked. My friends didn’t comment one way or the other on their meals (spaghetti & Meatballs & Gorgonzola Tortellini) but they seemed content. I really liked my wine which was chosen by the waitress. It was the dessert that was such a disappointment. We got the chocolate cannoli (waxy chocolate and unsweetened filling), chocolate mouse cake (fell flat) with raspberry sauce and the turtle cheesecake (nut crust was gross-why wasn’t caramel used to bind them?). I left mine uneaten and got to pay $6 for it. I also thought the waitress was great except she was ready for us to leave and let us know by bringing the check with out asking if we wanted anything else.
The food was mediocre "Italian" at best. I would have had better value for my money by going to a chain Italian restaurant with "grill" in the name.
We love Nicole and Fernando and the steak without the gravy blue cheese, we love the calamari and bread with oil and we love going somewhere where they know our name!
5 gals got together for yearly "gathering".
Good food, nice atmosphere, but a little noisy.
Nice waiter, very helpful.
We love Grazie! Every time we go we enjoy the food, order the featured Italian wine and feel well served. You definitely want reservations, even during the week, and a short wait is still the norm.
Meals this trip were rack of lamb, delicious, mixed seafood grill, fantastic, and fettuccine alfredo rich and tasty. And my 4 month old granddaughter slept through the meal what is not to like!
We love Grazie's! The food is always consistently amazing!!! And the wine pairing just adds to the delicious experience. The ambiance is rich and welcoming. Grazie's is always busy, but the noise level, quality of service, and delicious food just enhances the whole experience.
We love coming to Grazie's and the friendly, professional staff make us feel like we are coming home. Special shout out to Nicole, Fernando, and staff for embodying the true Grazie's Spirit of 'l'amore della famiglia italiana e l'ospitalità' (Italian: family, love, and hospitality)!
The food was excellent. Service was enjoyable and efficient. Really quality wine. My friends thanked me for picking this restaurant as they thoroughly enjoyed our evening there. This place is a hidden gem in Southcenter.
This was a great place to have an intimate birthday dinner! It was cozy and romantic. Great wine list and delicious food!! You could really taste the ingredients and your food definitely wasn’t heated up from a can.
We love Grazie's! Their food is really good, the wine is fine and we always leave satisfied.
We double dated with another couple and we had never been to this restaurant but it had superb reviews on Trip Advisor! We were raving about the food and what a wonderful dinner all during the meal and on the way home! The food was delicious, our waitress was superb, the ambiance was nice, the restaurant clean, and overall we will definitely be coming back.
Filet tenderloins with gorgonzola and balsamic glaze was amazing!
My co-worker raves about the linguini puttanesca, and gets it every time.
Celebrating a birthday
This was our second time at Grazie, and I wondered whether it had changed ownership. The first time (maybe 7 months ago), all our food was outstanding, the atmosphere was upbeat, and the service was excellent. This time, the food was okay, and the service was fast, but it continuously felt as if they were trying to get us out of there asap. (We were on time for our reservation, and the restaurant was half empty.) The waitress was unfamiliar with the wine offerings. The calamari fritti (which had been tender at the last visit) was rubbery, and the Linguini Marco was simply not very good (including the chicken). The Puttanesca and the Caesar salad were pretty good, but not as stellar as the time before. Maybe it was just a different chef. If we're in the area, we might give it a third try, but would not go out of our way to eat there again.
Picked Grazie for my anniversary dinner, it couldn't have been a better dining experience for our occasion. The food was beyond exceptional and the wine list is endless. Will definitely be going back.
Excellent as always. Always stop in when picking up or dropping off at SeaTac....or for any other reason we can find.
What a great find. We were looking for a spot for a group dinner (7 people) on a Wednesday night and found this place on Open Table. We arrived early for our reservation and were told by the hostess that we couldn't stand in their very tiny entrance and to wait outside which half of the group did. The manager (or owner) overheard and came over and apologized. Said we could stand anywhere we wanted :-) We then asked the hostess if we could order drinks from the counter (bar?) and she said only if there was an available waiter who was willing to take our order. Jean-Luc immediately came over and said no problem I can get you drinks. Manager/owner delivered our drinks with a flourish and smile. Jean-Luc turned out to be our waiter and he was fantastic. The food was out of this world. Salmon special had so much flavor and was cooked perfectly. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience despite the somewhat surly hostess. I would definitely recommend this place. It's small so make reservations and be prepared for a delicious food experience.
Just felt it was very overrated . Service was not great, nor was the food. There wasn't anything special about this family home cooked place that made it feel special or a place that I ever have to see again. Did not seem fresh or authentic at all!!
Very friendly place. Lots of families that looked well taken care of. The food was great. Especially the desserts. Try the key lime
We had dinner to celebrate a birthday. Service was excellent and food was delicious. Our Server's champagne recommendation was great! Thank you!!
I love Grazie.... locally owned authentic Italian food. The folks who work her are terrific. I make a point to eat here whenever I am in town. Food is outstanding.
Always enjoy dining at Grazie. I try to make it a point to visit the establishment 1-2 times monthly. Service is great, staff is pleasing, and they always keep the bread coming and the glasses full of water. The wine selection is good. Spinach salad is one of the best I have come across and the filleto gorgonzola is consistently delicious every time. I was surprised at the size of the Lasagna, as most places server a small portion, but here at Grazie, the portion is the best bang for buck!
What a gem this restaurant is! My mom and I had dinner tonight and it was amazingly good. The service was superb. Highly recommended
We sat in the little cocktail room so it is pretty tight quarters for two. The chairs were commfortable
I have eaten here several times and I have yet to be disappointed! Had the grilled seafood...awesome! Service is good.
Love Grazie! The food is consistently good here. The service can be hit or miss. Tonight, our server was fantastic - prompt, friendly, and professional. The place was packed and therefore a bit noisy. I wouldn't recommend it for a first date, but for any other occasion, it can't be beat! Grazie, Grazie!
This was a great find. They were able to accommodate our large group of 11 easily. Some in our group got caught in traffic and were quite late but the staff was patient. Great suggestion for a huge antipasto platter for the whole group. Great variety and plenty for everyone.Very good. Everyone liked their meals very much. Seemed like good, fresh ingredients. Wish I lived closer, I'd eat here more often. Doesn't look like much from the outside tucked into the corner of a strip mall, but it's a great little place!!
Always a great experience and pleasant staff.
Grazie's never let's us down! The employees are professional yet so darn friendly and really work hard to make your dining experience top notch. The food is exceptional, my favorite is the steak with Gorgonzola covered in a balsamic reduction. The steak was cooked perfectly, it was so tender. I brought my two teenage daughters, all three meals were perfect. Thank you!
My wife and I had the same entree - spagettini and meatballs, salads (caesar) and appetizer (toscano garlic bread). Pretty basic stuff for an Italian restaurant. Taste was ok, but we both had stomach issues later. Server was good, though. I would probably chose a different restaurant next time.
Fast, friendly service. They are always attentive and kind. The food came out quickly, but it was delicious. Always a treat here, seems like everything is always good.
First review for Open Table. Don't usually add anything, but Grazie was wonderful. Love the effort they put into getting the food just right. Solid Italian menu, everything we ordered was authentic and service, even on a very busy Saturday night was strong. Love that they invest in their staff by covering expenses in Italy on culinary training. It shows, staff is clearly engaged, attentive and knowledgeable. Next time I need to stay close to Sea-Tac coming or going, Grazie will be on my list.
We got there 15 mins early for our reservation and got seated right away. Server was very nice and made sure we had water and plates that needed to be out of the way. The food is great and would keep coming back!
Super service, awsome food, never disappointed.
