CONTINUES TO PLEASE ..... A NEIGHBORHOOD FAVORITE OF OURS'
Delicious food! This was my second time there. Last time I sat at the bar, this time we were upstairs. I would recommend the first floor for the warm ambiance, second floor if you prefer cozy and quiet. The staff is just wonderful by the way!
The food is priced about right -- you're not getting a deal, but definitely worth the price. Portions are small, but still filling. If you like elegant, straightforward, flavorful food, this is for you!
Three of us went for lunch thinking it was an Italian restaurant. Well, maybe it is since they had a few items. But the atmosphere, in an House with two floors of tables, reminded me of what I think is a ladies tea parlor. Nothing wrong with it but it doesn't fit the bill. Our lunches were salad plates, tasty and healthy. Wait staff were efficient. A nice spot after visiting the art on 5th Avenue.
We thoroughly enjoyed dining at Grazie. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It's a small quiet downstairs in a brownstone kind of place. They do have upstairs seating but we didn't see it. Wonderful experience. Will go back again.
Great food, cozy romantic atmosphere. Girls night catching up was great choosing this place!
Stopped here for brunch before spending a rainy Sunday at the Met. The food was very good, and the wait staff was very attentive.
After a busy day in the city, my teenage daughter and I came here for dinner before a show. It was quiet and quaint. The staff was friendly and timely and the food was delicious. After a day of racing around Time Square, Central Park, and The Met, this was the perfect place for a quiet dinner out.
This is a quite small and intimate spot. A little old fashioned but pleasant and quiet at lunch. My companion thoroughly enjoyed her prix fixe lunch at $29.00 and I had a crab sandwich which was tasty but not really a sandwich. Our waiter was friendly but could have been more attentive. Overall, I recommend the place although it's a little expensive for lunch.
It was a mid-week lunch with a friend that most others there too seemed to be sharing: Pleasant quiet atmosphere. The menu has an excellent limited selection, including prix fixe. At times the waitress seemed too eager to push us along with our meal but overall an entirely pleasant experience.
Best restaurant close to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Very good food, reasonable service, noisy, pricey
My husband and I came to this restaurant after reading about it on trip advisor and seeing that it got very good reviews. The restaurant was not crowded at 8 PM and we were quickly seated upstairs by The windows. The food was very good and service was attentive but not interested. Our waitress was excellent, responsive, and very pleasant.
Very good food and service. A throw back restaurant to 50 and 60. Decor needs sprucing up. Table clothes should be part of restaurant.
I have to say that I was disappointed with Grazie. First of all, I think it could use a facelift. A little old and dirty looking (rugs, walls, upstairs windows). I can get over all of that if the food is good though. The prices were very fair, and the selection was good, but the food had NO taste! It was SO bland. Flavorless.
I was very satisfied with Grazie. We were seated very promptly by a courteous staff, with several options. They have two floors and we sat on the second floor and had the room to ourselves for most of the time. Our orders came in a reasonable time and the staff checked in on us from time to time throughout our meal. The food was excellent and authentic (you really have to try the tiramisu). My date and I were there for about 2 hours and felt quite relaxed with the atmosphere, and were never rushed. I will definitely dine here again should the occasion arise.
I knew this place would be tasty and quiet. Quiet is the most important when you want to have a relaxed conversation. Service was friendly and food good. I think there are a number of regulars
A favorite place near the Met to eat--good food, nice service--and not be rushed.
We've enjoyed dinner here, but brunch was a disappointment. Egg dishes were dry and salads bland. Service was attentive and the booth was comfortable. Will go back some evening.
This was my first time here and it was terrific. I would highly recommend it. The food was great and the service was first class!
Had an excellent waitress, excellent service. Continued to refill our water glasses. Fritta dish of fried calamari and shrimp were great. The ragu with braised short ribs were great as well! No complaints whatsoever!
Food was outstanding, arugula and beet salad perfect, octopus was cooked exactly right and Branzino was perfectly cooked.... except they were supposed to debone the whole fish but I do not down grade because it was so well prepared I didn't care about the bones.
Service was, as always, welcoming and attentive. Both appetizers were delicious: tomato and watermelon salad with feta; and grilled octopus and potato salad. Mains were also excellent: salad of grilled shrimp with Romaine lettuce, hearts of palm, corn, and tomatoes; and a special of linguine with grilled shrimp, spinach, and generous amount of garlic. We only get to NYC twice a year, and we try to get to Grazie each visit.
We love Grazie. The food is wonderful, wine list is good, and the staff are terrific.
The menu was extensive and the food and wine delicious. We ate downstairs to avoid the usual noise upstairs. The setting was cozy and the service impeccable.
This is a hidden gem. Some of the best food we have eaten in NY!
Food was amazing!!! Everything from appetizers to coffee and desert was outstanding.
Excellent service and delicious food, perfect early dinner in the city.
Very pleased. Will definitely go again Service and food was excellent
Waiters were amazing... so was the veal
this place is like home. yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
we've been coming here for years. it's a very special place for us.
The service was great. However, the food left a lot to be desired, specially for the price point. The chicken parmesan that I had was only so so, having the spaghetti chopped, something that should be forbidden in a supposedly Italian restaurant. And the flavor was lacking. The fried calamari was ok. The sorbetto was nice. The soda was watered down, something that I find completely tacky for a restaurant at this price range. Won't be coming back and only recommend if it's your only option.
Pleasant atmosphere, good food. Relaxing quiet lunch with a friend. ( Frittata and excellent glass of white wine.) Convenient before going to the Met Museum.
My go to spot after seeing an exhibit at the Met.
Terrific brunch! I had ricotta pancakes and my friends has eggs Benedict. Both of us were very happy with our choices.
Great vibe, service, food & ambience.
We sat on the lower level at the window.
It's a must stop if you inbetween museum stops or shopping! BRAVO! Well done.
great pasta and individual pizzas. avoid the upstairs room in the back; dark, musty, generally depressing. be sure to sit downstairs
We eat here a lot. Great nana lives right up the street and so it is easy for her to get to. The great grandchildren think this is her dining room. The service is always excellent, the food is always good and we always are so happy to come here for dinner or any special occasion. They work with us in terms of how many we are - sometimes a lot - when all of the family gets together. From the 1-1/2 year old to the 95 year old - everyone has a great time.
This is a wonderful restaurant and definitely a neighborhood GEM.
it's our favorite neighborhood place! xxxxxxoooooooxxxxxxoooooooxxxxxxooooo
Grazie is a recent find. Three visits have proven it's consistency. A solid menu. Authenic dishes. Wonderful flavors. Great service. Everyone leaves with a smile on their face. The only down side is the place could use a face lift. I'll chalk that up to NYC charm. Go!
Wonderful food within reach of the Met! Attentive service, upper room pleasant and not noisy. Ravioli dish splendid.
