Cameron was our server, he was fabulous! Very attentive, gave suggestions and really did a fantastic job! The food was amazing, my steak was cooked to perfect medium rare. Our appetizers were phenomenal, we had the hot crab dip, asparagus and my favorite, the blackened prawns. Really delicious!!
I highly recommend Grays at the Park.

1 improvement needed...PLATING! I had the rib eye steak and while it was delicious, the presentation was not. It was a steak on a plate! Perhaps a little garnish or Demi-glace would have dressed it up a bit.
Amazing food and awesome environment. The place was really low key that evening but it made for a fun and enjoyable double date with our fitness. We had the house salad, the New York steak and shareable asparagus. It was all delicious.
Grays is an overlooked gem in downtown Vancouver. Good food, great service, nice atmosphere.
Good food, good service, very over priced. Wine by the glass is ridiculously priced, and no full bottle pricing available, not that you'd want to buy a whole bottle there.
French onion soup was too much
Service was not good. We were left alone after receiving our food. My friend did not have enough water.
Service was stellar! We reserved for 8, and they had it all set up for us. Beautiful restaurant, friendly and patient server. The food was beautiful and delicious.

The decor is clean contemporary, quiet and orderly. The only criticism I have is that the place lacked charm. A bit too austere. They specialize in steak and our were indeed superb. All the go withs were good and they have an extensive wine list.

The restaurant had great ambience, service, free valet parking, great food. The steak is the best I've tasted which includes Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. The waiter even packed our take home boxes.

We were new to Vancouver in 2016 and the Hilton was the first place where we stayed. The Grays back then was not as attractive and modern as it is now, but it had its charm off Esther Short Park. The food was flavorful and delicious and we kept going back to Grays after we bought our home. We had dinner at the restaurant for my husband's birthday and something was off. The bread they usually brought fresh baked to the table was now tough breadsticks for $5 and it was covered in shredded parmesan with a side of parsley covered butter and some sauce we couldn't guess the flavor. Our food was prepared well, fresh vegetables, but the salad dressing was different and the tastes were not the same. We think it's because they may have a new chef or perhaps cut back on the quality of the food due to the expense of the renovations. Overall, I would not recommend it to anyone because it's too much infusion with emphasis on the bar and drinks. We aren't drinkers, so flavor of food is what we are attracted to with dining. Our service was great - no waiting (with a reservation), and the food was brought in a timely manner. Unfortunately, we won't be back.
Changed reservation to 17:00 from 18:00. Host failed to record reservation; therefore, nasty letter from OT indicating I was a no show. $150.00 plus tip charged to room at Hilton Vancouver. I guess I showed.
Sorry, not great. We were seated at a table in the cold back corner, when plenty of booths were available. Tenderloin steaks not great for such a high price. Presentation non- existent. Giant pretzel was good. Service could be more friendly, helpful.

We had a problem with a gift certificate, though that has been resolved. The food was OK but not as good as one might expect at such a nice place. Desserts were great.
I didn't know this was a hotel restaurant, so my bad on that. They say they cook their steaks at 1600 degrees, but by the time it got to me, it was room temperature. I've had grass fed beef that was pretty good, but this $36.00 ribeye was gristly and had NO marbling whatever. Service was adequate, but not outstanding. No bread was offered. I don't know if you have to pay extra for it...didn't see that on the menu. Selection of sides was limited. The baked potato wasn't hot enough to melt the butter, and the sour cream was almost frozen. NEVER AGAIN
Nice date spot in quiet Vancouver downtown. The food is cookie cutter but portions are reasonable for the price. My server was very fantastic that time. If I could do anything different I would wish not to be seated by the door. It was a little chilly. Not a bad place to stop by if you are looking for a safe, comfort food dining experience.
The menu is a bit on the pricey side but food quality was very satisfying. Server was very pleasant.
We have never been to Grays and we found this to be a delightful experience. The ambiance was wonderful the food was delicious staff attentive and pleasant. We will definitely go back and I have already been telling people all about it.
I thought the food was fine, but not great. I go to many restaurants and I would say Gray's is in the middle - not high and not low in the culinary department.

Two of our foursome enjoyed the turkey pot pie dinner, but I was extremely disappointed that we only had a choice of dinner off the special Valentine's Day menu..So what I had planned on having for dinner was not possible...
A late breakfast with four members of my family was a great success. The food was plentiful and very tasty. They were very solicitous of my daughter's dietary needs. Our server was exceptional. She got the kitchen to do our breakfasts beyond the time that they normally switch over to lunch, and saw cheerfully to our every request.

Our friend who ordered the Hot Buttered Rum was impressed that it was HOT and the Halibut Fish & Chips were the best she had ever eaten. Not greasy, delicious**

I love all things fried and potato-y, and Gray’s consistently has excellent French fries and tater tots.
I had the daily special street tacos (which were salmon the night we went), and a side of tots. Both things were fantastic. They also have an excellent selection of local beers on tap.
As always, great device, good food, best ingredients, conversation easy. Perfect!

We celebrated a birthday at Gray's at the Park-Hilton Vancouver and all of us enjoyed different menu items and were all very pleased with our choices. We all agreed we would gladly come back. Service was excellent and desserts were well worth the feeling of being too full!
Good ambiance, great good and service. I would recommend the mac and cheese with andouille sausage. Very cheesy and quite scrumptious! Also had seasonal warm spiced pear cider that was delicious with a lot of the spices of the season.

An altogether decent hotel restaurant. Food is good if not terribly imaginative, service is friendly but not intrusive, there's free valet parking and it's open for Sunday evening dinner.
