I always love coming to Gravina. The staff members are so friendly and welcoming. Food is always immaculate. And the only noise that can disturb the mood is if there’s a loud car driving down PCH. Other than that, it’s very relaxing.

We booked this reservation last minute after visiting Malibu for a beautiful sunset at the beach. What an absolute home run of an experience. Being from NYC we are used to quality Italian food and Gravina was no exception. We had the calamari antipasti, margherita pizza, the lobster ravioli special with pink scampi sauce, the spinach ravioli with sage butter sauce and the tagliatelle bolognese. Incredible! My only room for improvement would have been more spinach ravioli because my son finished it in minutes 🫶🏼 lol this restaurant is a reason to come back to California. They were also close to closing and we never felt rushed. Our server was attentive and lovely as well as the manager:owner (lovely Italian accent) 20/10 wishing you continued prosperity in Malibu

From the moment we stepped into Gravina we felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s home. The staff was wonderful. Very attentive and accommodating. The food was wonderful — we had the prosciutto de Parma pizza and the pasta pesto with burrata which was amazing! I would highly recommend this cozy spot.

I love this restaurant. The perfect date night spot... and the one fine dining restaurant in Malibu where you can get a reservation, easily park your own car by the front door, hear yourselves talk, meet the owner... and eat a gourmet meal made with love. Great flavors... house-made pasta and desserts... good wine. Easy 5-Star rating for me!

Gravina what is a pleasant surprise for Italian food in Malibu. The atmosphere was very quiet as we came very early and stayed about an hour and a half. The inside is a minimalistic, but feels like Italy. Service was outstanding. The waiter was very entertaining and shared his opinions on the food. We started with an Italian spritzer and had a delicious dinner of chicken and asparagus, with pasta with mushrooms and truffle oil. A Caesar salad was how we began. Wow! This place is definitely worth a stop. Our favorite food is Italian and we have visited most of the Italian restaurants in Malibu. This one ranks right at the very top.

I love taking friends and family to Gravina! The service is EXCELLENT. The owner and waitstaff are extremely attentive and kind. The pasta, as always, was to die for- can't recommend the rigatoni alla barese enough. However, the mixed fruit tart that we ordered for dessert tonight tasted like they picked it up at Ralph's. Other than the dessert, our meal was amazing!

Maximiliano gave us a 5 diamond experience, with his attention and attitude. We originally had a different server but, I really did not think he adds a diamond experience. Lucky for us Maximiliano stepped in without us even complaining. We have gone to this restaurant once a year for the past 9 years and we love it, food, service and how quiet it is. I suggest making reservations and ask for Maximiliano, es lo maximo.

The service and atmosphere was amazing, they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied in every way. And the food was incredible, from the bread to the entrees even to the dessert. Will definitely be going back. It felt like we stepped into Italy for the night.

Amazing food at this little Italian restaurant just off the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu near Point Dume. We had chicken picatta and an Italian whitefish that were perfectly prepared. Can’t wait to go back!

Nice neighborhood spot in the west end of Malibu. Intimate setting. The staff could not be more helpful and lovely...yet professional. We'd go more often but they have raised the prices quite a bit and feels like a special occasion treat rather than a regular "go to".

I have been there so many times with a good experience that when I needed them to be attentive the MOST for a family celebration, we were very let down. They were inattentive, not so nice (same people who were nice other times), slow to serve us when we needed to leave. It was embarrassing with a bigger group & I was upset that I suggested to come here after raving about it. I will not trust again that they would take care of us in a bigger group. So disappointing
