We went on a Monday! Special was half off bottles of wine. We got two of course! Service was great but lacked in some areas. Empty water glasses, empty bottle of wine on table. Food was very flavorful and fish was fresh. Bread was delicous. Will return again!!

In town to see UMich with our daughter, we had a delightful Friday night dinner at Gratzi.
Our excellent server, Erika, suggested we try their brunch as well. We returned for brunch on Sunday and were not disappointed.

Sara our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu with excellent recommendations for us. Our dinners were very tasteful but the presentation was questionable only because we had a table along the east (upstairs) wall, table for 2 with little to no lighting. It's pretty sad when you have to pull out your cell phone to use the light to even read the menu let alone to see what's on your plate. A couple of lighted wall sconces might just fix this problem, but for now I would say... Don't take a table (for 2) upstairs. Overall we will return, just making sure we are on the 1st floor. Also, we are very fond of the Restaurant's on main Street establishment's and enjoy all of their eateries/cuisines.

It was okie experience for us at this restaurant, as our table attendant was not that accommodative. Although it is a busy day, few kind gestures by attendants would have made the overall experience great.

Took quite awhile to get drinks and even subsequent drinks. Food came pretty fast and was decent but nothing to write home about. Mashed potatoes were warm at best. Nick our waiter was friendly.

Tuesdays are wine flights, which I highly recommend. The chef prepares appetizers to pair with the different wines. We may have to go back every Tuesday! My husband had the Chilean Sea Bass with Asiago risotto and roasted Brussels sprouts. I had the scallops with fingerling potatoes, radishes, and peas. Both were magnificent. I’ve heard we need to try the calamari, so will have that next time. I’ve also heard it gets very loud in there, but we were there on a Tuesday, and also pretty early in the evening, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. Our server was fantastic, also.

We went to Gratzi to celebrate a birthday. Even though they stopped the free birthday dessert, their 50% off all food for two people is still a great way to celebrate. Their scallops were outstanding as was the shrimp farfelle. We ordered the tiramisu for dessert and found it dull. We informed our server who never blinked and offered to bring us another piece from their sister restaurant which had more of a bite. What a nice thing to do!

The table was completely in the dark. The bartender took FORVER to pour two glasses of wine before our table was ready. We had to ask for silverware and napkins. We have been here many times and this time it wasn’t the best service and didn’t like sitting in the dark. We would go back the food is good.

Gratzi never fails to deliver. Delicious bread from Zingerman's. Great soups and salads. Delicious pasta. My only criticism ever is the table we were given this past Saturday somewhat jutted into the dining room and did not feel intimate. I will make sure to ask for a booth in the future.

The service was great, the food was okay. Parts of our meal were very tasty and parts were very bland and flavorless. My wife and I celebrated her birthday (50% off the bill if dining with two people) here and it was a great value for the variety of food we ordered. I was disappointed with the inconsistency in the dishes, but I'd be willing to give it another shot.
