    Over all bad food. Pasta over cooked, calamari was tough. Service was poor during a slow time in the dinning room. The bar was nice. Great bartender, John. We will not be returning .

    Food was good with okay portions, but service should be much better. Got sat for our 6:00 reservation, got a bottle of water brought about 2 minutes later, then no wait staff for at least 15 to 20 minutes. A manager who was bartending came over after seeing us look around to see if we had questions and ended up taking our order. The restaurant was not busy being a Wednesday evening so there's not really an excuse, just not sure who's at fault. Whether the hostess did not tell the proper waiter or what I don't know. After waiting for so long you'd think something would've been comped or something would be given to entice us to come back but I guess not.

    Sadly the food was very mediocre. I had high hopes for this place when they first opened but the arancini were bland, chicken cutlet a dry and disappointing entree. Would not return.

    The food is always really good my boyfriend and I went there for his birthday last night. We got the the Ceasar salad and the Bucatini Bolognese it was delicious.

    This may have been my worst dining experience ever. Our group are medical professionals and we were celebrating a colleagues graduation. The main floor of the restaurant was loud and hosting a happy hour , and our table was immediately behind it. we were initially told by our waitress that “she had another table at 7:30” (it was 5:52) so we needed to put our dinner orders in immediately. We were waiting on others to finish taking care of children (6/8 people were at the table) in the hospital and ordered appetizers. She then took the other menus away from the table despite us telling her others were coming. At 6:15, she told us she had “a table for us in the lobby” and that she had a 9 top coming in at 6:30. Other than the very loud happy hour- the rest of the restaurant was empty. The waitress was so incredibly rude and off putting that we immediately asked for the check. The manager was nice but did not offer any solutions. There are so many nice places to eat in college town- skip this one.

    Our waitress was very good, the food was not very good. My $17 dollar salad was small with gigantic uncut lettuce leaves and bleu cheese. It was small and should have been a side salad at most. The Caesar salad was inedible with a dressing too thick to mix into the salad. The pizza was also not tasty. The burger was very good. None of our party thought th the food was worth what we were charged. We wouldn’t go back.

    Arrived at 5pm for our reservation. Had one additional person to our group and we were accommodated fine. We had chicken and veal cutlet and while the dinner was fine the cutlets were over cooked. More like having chicken fingers. We had a member of our group order salmon and it was not cooked and needed to be returned.

    All four agreed - dinner was outstanding from appetizer to dessert. The calamari Brussels and beet salad were best ever. Service was perfectly timed and price reasonable for soup to nuts including drinks.

    Out of 25% of the menu and never told us that in the beginning found out after we had our appetizer and was ready to order. Appetizer was bland and mediocre at best. 3 fruit flys were buzzing around our table and one landed in my drink. Thats when I called it quits and got up and asked to settle the check. Night ruined.

    We were seated right next to the kitchen and it was loud, but I actually enjoyed that part. What I didn’t enjoy was the fact that we sat for almost 15 minutes before anyone came to greet us. The food wasn’t the best quality which was sad because we’ve been there before and loved it. I ordered the penne pesto which was incredibly bland and my fiancé ordered the burger which he said was okay. We asked for bread after ordering an appetizer but we never received it. It wasn’t our best experience at Grappa, but we’ll probably give it another try since every other time we’ve had excellent food and service.

    Pasta wasn’t great, dessert was served with a steak knife! Great people, little weird you had to enter a hotel to get into the restaurant. Been to plenty of restaurants in hotels, a separate entrance is usually available.

    First time there! Terrific environment and a great vibe! They have a nice simple menu (meaning not an overload of choices) with great dishes to choose from. There were 6 of us in our party. We enjoyed all of our meals, and everyone was happy with the outcome. The Chicken riggies where spot on and a nice treat, as they are not readily available in the area. We tried a few of the deserts and they delish! The only critique is with the Bolognese, it was a little harsher acidic taste, but had a good taste with the mixed meats, nonetheless. The entire staff was fun and friendly. Overall a great vibe and delicious food, we will def come again!!!!

    Great date-night spot. Excellent food and drinks, attentive service, and lovely atmosphere. A touch loud, so it was hard to hear the person across the table from me. Still highly recommended, and we will return in the future.

    Very beautiful restaurant and nice waitress. However, I wouldn't return. The prices were high and food wasn't that great. The calamari was so bland, it had no seasoning in the batter. The pesto pasta was disgusting! It was over cooked mushy noodles with a watery bland pesto. The salmon was also not flavorful at all. We enjoyed the veal Parmesan and white garlic pizza, but the menu seems too hit or miss. I don't want to return for a meal I may like.

    Having dined at Grappa several times before this experience was wholly underwhelming and the quality of food was not good. The wine was served in a not so clean glass. The waitress was nice enough to bring a new one. My friends had the chicken cutlet and it was quite hard, most likely overcooked. I had the salmon with polenta. The polenta was rubber. Really bad. Couldn’t eat it. I don’t know what happened but the quality of the food served has definitely declined. I felt bad for the waitress she was very apologetic but bad food is bad food. I hope the restaurant takes the time to work out the problem and gets back to the level and quality of food that I/we have experienced.

    Didn’t honor our reservation seating preference, gaslit us to a worse table, all food was bland and made us sick at home, waitress doesn’t understand personal space post covid, limited menu options so we felt deceived based on website menu (someone else asked this while we were there). Ruined an occasion dinner for us

    I had a lot of trouble choosing my meal - I wanted several menu items! I selected the pesto salon with a side of truffle cauliflower purée. Our table of 6 shared the apple crostata for dessert. Everything was very tasty. My meal had so many great flavors and textures. I tasted my husband’s pepperoni pizza which was also very good. I’m looking forward to a return visit to try more items from the menu. Also, the service was friendly and the ambiance inviting.

    Walking in the restaurant was lively and looked very modern and inviting. The service was friendly and often checked in. The appetizers presented well and we particularly like the charcuterie board. The Aranchini looked good but taste was bland. The entries were unimpressive. The pesto pasta wasn’t that flavorful. The salmon was over cooked and we’ve cooked better at home in an air fryer. The pepperoni pizza was decent. Overall, wouldn’t recommend highly to others. Better quality for less cost at other locations.

    Arrived on time and were seated immediately. Option indoors or out, and we chose outdoors since it was a beautiful evening. The server stopped @ our table within 5 minutes and was very pleasant and introduced himself as Ryan (which I always appreciate since SO many servers NEVER identify themselves unless I ask). Our party of 4 ordered appetizers and within 5-10 minutes we were being served. Drinks were ordered and were fine. The main courses were a bit limited and I was surprised a basic steak could have been offered. The WAS an 8 oz. tenderloin w/ options @ "Market price". I inquired what the cost was and was advised it was $75. REALLY! Without objecting I just ordered something else (Short ribs). It would have been nice to see Scallops or Shrimp offered but...(NO). Still... meals were all prepared nicely and tasty. Overall, a good experience and we left filled and satisifed.

    Wayyy too much cheese on the Mediterranean pizza. Soggy tomatoes on the Marguerita pizza. We were not asked how we liked our food. We hate throwing food away so we put it in a box and took it home and threw it out there as we just could not eat it.
