We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Granite Room for our anniversary! It was the evening before restaurants in NH closed because of the outbreak, and we enjoyed every minute! The food and the service were outstanding as always! Can't wait to be there again! :)
Granite is a charming spot for a quiet meal with good friends!
Gourmet food in comfy expensive digs. Duck breast was to die for.
Date night at the Granite Restaurant, is a must when in Concord, NH. The beautiful inn, where the restaurant is housed, is a picture of the elegant, and storied life of this landmark in Concord’s history.
The food is superb, and there are smaller options to choose from. The salads, scallops, and filets are all to be enjoyed with their varied wine selections. Along with the service, and ambiance, it keeps us going back when we are in Concord.
We always look forward to this date night.
Scrumptious, beautifully plated food, excellent service and a lovely environment -- and the cocktails are outstanding, too.
We were celebrating our friends birthday. Had a wonderful meal, great cocktails, food was very good. I had the Pork Porterhouse which was exceptional. Two people had the duck and they were very pleased. Great service as well.
Plain and simple - we were disappointed. The food was mediocre and expensive. My wife said the scallops were good, but the red snapper was awful and it was next to impossible to remove the skin. To their credit, they did refund the cost of the snapper. But it didn't take the disappointment away from what we had hoped would be a nice evening and wonderful meal.
Unbelievable Sunday Brunch!
Great service, great food, and inviting ambiance. I'll definitely go back for brunch, lunch, and date night dinner. Enjoyed our time and actually went back the next day for lunch!
We have had good meals here in the past. However, this time, service was very slow and the price was exceedingly high for what was a slightly above average tasting meal. I could have had the same experience for about $100 less and there were only two of us.
Open table neglected to mention that evening was a prix fixe menu. Would have been good to know in advance
Service was great, food was great. We go to the Centennial every year for Valentine's Day and it is always fun and great.
The food is amazing, loved the duck. The space is a little loud for a romantic dinner and a bit pricey, but all of that is overlooked in favor of the delectable food!
Waiter did not make us feel comfortable from the very beginning. Very negative and poor body language pretty much the whole time he came to our table. I drove down from lincoln nh. It was my wife"s birthday. I wanted it to be special. Food was good.
Took a full 15 minutes to get served, then another 10 or so minutes for the server to bring the salt and pepper, meanwhile, we did not eat our salad until the seasons arrived. Took maybe another 15 to get our entrée...forever to get the check. Food was frankly only mediocre. Expected MUCH more re: food. The poor service, however, inexcusable.Too bad, the place has so much potential.
Great food! Great service! Great ambiance! Great location!
The food was fantastic and the wait staff was incredibly friendly and clearly devoted and enthusiastic about their jobs. From cocktails to desserts, everything was delicious. Not an easy feat given the small town nature of Concord, NH.
Interesting and unique options on the menu. The Carrot Fattoush was a near perfect blend of flavors and textures. Service was excellent.
Service is excellent! Food is also excellent. Drinks are quite good. Ambiance is nice. Parking is easy. The prices are reasonable but on the high end. I also enjoy going there. It is my go to restaurant when I'm in Concord NH.
We have enjoyed brunch at the restaurant on several occasions but always ordered the 3 egg omelet or the eggs Benedict. this time we tried the waffles and french toast, not a fan. Will stick to our usual. The lattes came with rock candy stirs - a nice touch.
The best part of the experience was the waiter. He has waited on us before at dinner but his demeanor his grace and his ability to explain a menu is exceptional. Don't lose him he was the best part of the evening.
The food and service were OK, so was the ambiance. But nothing special and a little pretentious for what it actually is.
Food came out cold and the taste was not anything to write about and small quantaty that they give you is not worth going back.
Delicious dinner special (pork osso bucco), great cocktail (black walnut manhattan), and lovely ambiance. Only complaint? We asked for an extra minute to order drinks, which turned into quite a long wait, which was acknowledged. Otherwise, service was fantastic, so I would say that they could have used more staff.
The food was just not good. Duck was ok but the couscous was terrible. The salad was missing ingredients. The pork dish was dry, bland and was an extremely small portion. The value just is not there. Go to O's in Concord for better food quality for your money.
We wanted to try something new, so we went to the Granite Restaurant. We had a reservation, and were seated right away upon arriving. It was a smallish dining room, and it was mostly empty on a Friday at 7:30. We started with drinks. I ordered an “Any Port in the Storm” and my husband had a margarita. For the amount of alcohol, they were overpriced. I think you have to have at least two drinks to see if they’re actually good or not, so we had two more. Definitely not worth it. We both started with tomato soup. It was average. My entree was a pork tenderloin. It came with “green apple coulis, butternut, brussel sprout, and bacon hash, and Apple gastrique”. It was basically a pork tenderloin from the local supermarket, with apple sauce from the jar, and, I’m not exaggerating one brussel sprout cut in half. $25. My date ordered the statler chicken. He took one bite, and sent it back because it was dry. It looked like it was cooked earlier in the day and served to us.
We really wanted to like this place, but we won’t be going back
Food and service was very good. Only disappointment was specifically went as my wife’s birthday and I the past Centennial was very good about recognizing special occasions. Got a “happy birthday “ and that was it.
Eggs Benedict very good. French toast less so. Would not order it again. Plus charging $2 extra for real NH maple syrup is...a bit outrageous!
Great restaurant! Food and device were excellent. Really appreciated the opportunity to order a small plate!
Awesome dinner. Everything was perfect waitress was great Great nite out
We liked it very much. The front desk had no listing of our reservation!
Great food and service
All was superior for our birthday brunch! The only drawback was the view of the dumpster. A simple gated section to close off the area could be achievable for very little.

We stayed overnight at the Centennial Hotel and due to a long travel day, decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. Let me saythat this is not a typical hotel restaurant. The dinner menu was varied, used many local a seasonal ingredients. Dishes were generous and well presented.
Breakfast was even more of a pleasant surprise. We were planning an early departure, and wanted a good meal. On the Sunday morning I expected to find an over priced brunch buffet. There was no buffet and the brunch menu was diverse and reasonably priced. The Greek yogurt parfait cup was filling and the standard eggs baca now hash browns was generous and well prepared
Service was competent and friendly.
WE enjoyed a cozy evening in the smaller dining room. Enjoyed our waitress, Lucy, who was attentive yet perceptive in respecting our privacy and conversation.
Our server was great this restraint is our go to when traveling north
When I made the reservation I noted we were celebrating my mother’s 89th birthday. Nothing special was done for her. My husband’s short ribs were burnt and by the time he got his replacement meal we had all finished our dinner. Bar service was very slow. Our water glasses only refilled once - and restaurant was half empty at that point. Food was good but not exceptional for the prices charged and there was no ambiance. This was our 3rd time here (I keep hoping it will get better), but no longer trying. I’ll drive to the Bedford Inn instead.
I took my daughter there for "Date Night" since it was her birthday and she accompanied me on my business trip. She is a young adult in her late 30's, a foodie and photographer. She totally enjoyed the menu and the history of the Centennial Hotel. The food was spectacular and the value of "Date Night" was phenomenal. If I am ever in NH, I would dine there again!
Great meal we enjoyed the whole experience this evening
Very nice room/food. Great, attentive, knowledgeable waiter. Nice wine selection, both red the Granite Hotel, is a lovingly-restored brick former school(?) sitting on a hill above Concord. Very pleasant!
