Granite city did an excellent job in welcoming guest back during pandemic and having their team appropriately prepared with temperature taking, handling food, social distancing and much more! I felt comfortable due to these efforts and process you put in place and will be returning great job!

I drove all the way to Troy for this reservation at 11p and was rudely turned away saying they close at 11 this was a 30 min drive and the manager and hostess were both rude

Our waitress was awesome. We went to Granite City to eat the first Day our Governor decided to allow it. She changed her gloves often, wore a mask, was in great spirits and made sure we had everything we asked for. Too notch service.

We were seated as soon as we enter Granite City, but it took about fifteen minutes before we were really serve! They were not busy there were a lot of empty tables.
Our server ask it we wanted anything for the bar we declined and they brought us water with warm water. From that point they just kept walking by without saying a words. We were close to leaving, finely they ask if we were ready to order. after all that the food was good.

I had dinner there on a Saturday night, the food and service was excellent. The only negative was the amount of noise. We had a party of three and we could not hear each other from across the booth.

Food was great. But it was just about the loudest restaurant I've ever been in.

The roasted brussel sprouts were amazing! Great service, good food, great beer!

Made reservation on Opentable app. App said we had up to 15 minutes after our reservation time to arrive. Our reservation was for 7:15. We arrived at 7:26 and our table was given away. Hostess was rude. Our waiter rarely came to the table. We were constantly looking for him for water refills and drink orders etc.

Made a reservation for 14 people 2 nights before via OpenTable. Res was at 5:30pm. When we got to the restaurant we were offered hi top table sitting. We declined because we had several older people on our party. We were then told that there was a large group table available but that the next reservation for that area was at 7pm so we would have to be done by 6:40p. With a group that large we told them no we couldn’t eat and have a good time in an hour and 10 minutes.
We then were seated in another area which was very cold. The staff accommodated turning on the heat for us. The dinner started out well when were introduced to our 2 servers. That quickly declined to one very busy server who had our large table and many other small ones. She tried her best but became quickly less attentive and we didn’t get finished and got our checks by almost 9pm.
Generally the food was mediocre, several members of our party had cold food steaks were cooked unevenly and not to requested temperatures.
At any rate our server Crystal worked hard and earned the built in gratuity but overall our experience was poor.
I would not recommend them for a group.

We booked a "reservation" right from the Granite City website, for 4:30 on a Saturday night. At 4:45 we were still not seated. We were give excuses and finally told that in fact we only had priority seating not a reservation. But we would be sat ahead of people waiting in the lobby which did not happen either.
I would suggest not to call it a reservation on the website.

Service was good but food was just ok. We probably won’t be back.

We had a party of 7 and made a reservation just to make sure they had a table for us. We arrived a few minutes late, but the hostess was really kind about it and got us to the table they'd reserved for us.
The food was good and we all enjoyed everything ordered. The service was pretty slow since it was a Tuesday night and not very busy, but all the items came out correctly and it was an enjoyable experience overall.

Great server. Food ok but not great. Drinks were good. Food very average. Can't compete with Jolly Pumpkin.

Food and service were good as usual, a bit if messed up with our reservation. We had reservation for 2 but were not seated until 2:20, they keep looking for table for us and changing decision were to put us, it was a bit of frustrating as thanks should if wait for us when we arrived.

Brunch was amazing!

The service was terrible. We had a reservation for 8. They told us it would be a 40 minute wait. Tables sat empty. Food was cold. Server disappeared for long stretches of time. We wont be back.

Our waitress Jamie was wonderful and very attentive. This was our first visit to the Troy location and we will definitely be coming back here over the Detroit Location. Steak was cooked perfectly and all food came out surprisingly fast considering how busy they were. We sat at bar while waiting for a spot to open up and the bartenders were very attentive as well. This location is leaps and bounds better than the one in downtown Detroit and i'm glad we gave this location a try!

Great experience! It was our first time having dinner there. Good food, good service. Would definitely return. Making reservations was definitely a good idea as well. I heard it was an hour wait when we got there but we were seated right away.

Valentine’s Day menu was limited but very good. Had a great time. Would highly recommend.

All around great experience

The appetizer portion was way too tiny on your valentines menu ( we got the spinach artichoke dip) would have liked to have had the option for soup and salad but it seemed very rushed. This was our second time trying granite city and likely our last. The sangria was awesome though. I may grab a drink but there are much better food options in the area.

When we first arrived our table was right by the door. It happened to be very cold and every time the door would open we were getting a blast of cold air. We asked to be moved but were told there were no other tables. We pointed out several other empty tables that would accommodate our party but they were “unavailable”. Once seated, we were informed that because it was Valentine’s Day, that they did not have their full menu. They were using a pre-fixed menu. Why were we not told this would be the case when the reservation was made? The limited menu were some of the worst options from their regular menu. We ordered drinks, which took about 15 minutes to get. We then ordered food which took another 30-40 minutes to get. It was awful. They should be ashamed to have produced that quality of food from their kitchen. We then got to the desert course which took another 20 minutes to get out, which is ridiculous because it was just a cookie they warmed up. None of this should be on our server. She was great and was being put in a bad position by the horrendous management and kitchen staff. I will not ever be going back.

The food on Valentine’s Day had absolutely no flavor. The salmon tasted frozen and the steak was like eating leather. Even the cookie dessert had no flavor and was very hard. Don’t waste your money here.

Shannon, our server was very nice and so attentive. Shannon made our dining experience wonderful!! We will definitely be back, Granite City is one our favorites!!
