It was nice. Good food!
Did mention my special celebrating Father’s Day. I didn’t want to ruin the surprise so I didn’t say anything and celebrated with dessert somewhere else.
Food and service were good. Only disappointed that I left a note on Open Table that we were celebrating a birthday. This did not get passed on to the restaurant or they dropped the ball. Nothing was acknowledged. Everything else, fine.
Had a day date with my 12 yr old niece and we loved it! We went for brunch and it was reasonably priced and the food was wonderful. LOTS of choices.
Peter was awesome!
Enjoyed granite City Food Brewery. Good food good selection of cold beer. Nice to have outdoor seating. Wife had Asian chicken salad and I tried short rib portabella flat bread. Both were great. Gets pretty noisy inside, but had plenty of space and less noise outside. Will come again.
excellent as always and a good value the size of the scallop meal is a bit on the small side but hamburgers and steaks are my favorite & best value. we are regulars since the food is always great & dependable. service is a leah’s great & reservations are easy on open table.
Very much enjoyed our meal. The choices were wide ranging and my dinner was very good. Also enjoyed the creative menu of 5 dollar cocktails.
Tried to order two different beers from their menu that were on draft seasonal out of them both
Great brunch experience
Dinner entree was wrong. Server felt terrible and apologized. But we were surprised that we were still charged for it.
Sean was our waiter and was phenomenal...always made sure everything was to our liking..
Our server, Sean, was excellent. The manager, Mike, came to the table just to make sure we were happy with everything. Convenient location, plenty of parking. However, we did not get credit for our visit, not even a "pending". Please fix that.
Great food and service. When our waitress found out one of us had a birthday, she brought a dessert with a candle on it. Very thoughtful and much appreciated. Once the restaurant started filling up, the noise level increased.
We were seated quickly at a table in the bar area. Granite City has some great crafts that we have had before, but, we almost always get a flight anyway. Tried the latest "1999" beer and it was great too. Nacho dish was enough for the two of us but we split a sandwich and took most of that home. Granite City is consistently an awesome place to dine and the hosts, servers, bartenders and managers run the place like a Porsche !!
The food was marginal at best in flavor. The got my dinner order wrong and had to make it again just a hamburger. The patty itself was lacking any seasoning. By the time we got home both mine and my husband’s tummies were rumbling. I was up 6 times with gastro intestinal issues. My husband was up multiple times. Oh did I mention the nausea.
We had excellent service....spent a long time with old friends and waiter was fabulous. Food was really good. Refilled crackers to go with appetizer dip. Really good food. Will be back.
We had a drink spill at our table and the waitress brought a few cocktail napkins to clean it up. It took waiving down a busboy and manager to get our table clean again. Needless to say we were not impressed with the service that particular visit.
Had to wait a moment, even with reservations. Our server was excellent. Paid close attention to our flow. Made great recommendations and made the total experience worthwhile. My bride is still talking about the evening!!!!
The service and the food was excellent. Although the restaurant was crowded (for Mother's Day), we were seated right away per our 5:00 pm reservation. Our server was experienced and available. We never felt rushed. Everyone enjoyed the meal, and the beer selection. The deserts also received praise. This was our first visit to Granite City Food & Brewery, and we intend to return.
We went for Mother’s Day brunch. Food was good but very busy. Buffet table setup could have been setup differently for a better flow. There were times you had to squeeze between people.
Server was very friendly. Manager apologized for the wait we had even though we had reservations.
Nice variety of food from breakfast to dinner items. Everything we had was delicious.
We will definitely visit again.
We went to Granite City for Mother's Day Brunch - many items were not refilled and what was there was not that good. The server was very nice though, and definitely tried his best. This might be good for other situations, but definitely not for brunch.
Mother's Day Brunch @ 1PM. The buffet was still plentiful and the wait staff was very attentive to refilling and maintaining freshness. Excellent specials: salmon & apple stuffed pork at the carving station. We ordered the french toast through the waitress and it took a bit to get to us but was very flavorful when it did.
We will be back.
First time ever to Granite City. Our waitress was excellent and it was a nice time
We’ve always enjoyed going to granite city for dinner but will never go back for their brunch. It was over priced for the quality of food. The food was buffet style, wasn’t hot and no flavor. Very disappointed. The buffet style food wasn’t their restaurant quality.
Service was solid. Food was okay. Woman was kicking out some awesome omelettes. Could have used a refill on the dessert choices and waffle bar items.
The host stand seemed pretty confused with our reservation. That’s never a good start for a meal. The lunch deals are always very good and the food did not disappoint. I always forget how loud it is which doesn’t make for a pleasant gals lunch.
Great burgers and the Beer flights gave you a good taste of some higher end beers that are available. The shrimp tacos there were amazing as well. The server was very quick and responsive to anything that we needed and the food came looking and tasting great in a very reasonably short period of time.
our meal as always was excellent and a great value for the price. the quality of the food is also top notch!
My first time to Granite City Brewery. I went there with co-workers (current & former) to celebrate a birthday and catch up. Beautiful restaurant. I ordered the blackened Mahi tacos. They were very good actually, but had a slightly fishy taste. Nothing off-putting, but fish should never smell like fish. No one in our group ordered beer, but my husband and I will come back and try a beer flight and some other menu items. I'd like to try the Margherita flatbread next time. Overall good experience and we had a fantastic waiter. He was very nice and personable. I've heard the Sunday brunch is very good. I'll have to try that some time in the future too.
As always, a great dining experience. The flatbreads are delicious! Service is always friendly, attentive, and polite.
We went for brunch. The issue with the service was the recent consolidation of the omelette station, carving station and waffle station. There is only person supporting that consolidated station for cooking, serving, cleaning and restocking. Even through she worked really hard, it would be impossible to keep up.
The food selection/quality was also not as good as it has been in the past.
The waitress was very good.
Our server was amazing. I have been in the industry for 16 years and I have never had better service.
Really liked everything But couldn't hear each other above the din! Sat out in front in the sunroom -bright & airy there. But maybe you can hear each other better inside more.
Food and service was great. However we waited close to 1/2 to get our flights of beer cause they had run out of glasses. How does a brewery run out of flight glasses at 6pm on a Saturday?!?
Visited on a Friday night. The place was packed.
Was called nearly immediately but seated incorrectly. Had to go back to the lobby to wait to be reseated.
Once at our table we felt very rushed. Server was clearly exhausted. Drinks, appetizers, and entrees all came in on top of one another leaving no room on the table. Table was being cleared even before all the food was eaten.
Our after drink order was incorrect. Instead of remedying the situation, a server who brought the drinks ( not our primary server) told us what he brought and left it on the table. Said he would be back with the correct drink but never returned. Our primary server was unaware of the problem. When brought to her attention she said she would correct it and then took to drink back that had been left on the table saying that if she left it we would be charged for it.
Food itself was good but not particularly memorable. The flight of beer on the menu required a substitution because they did not have one of the beers being promoted.
This is my second time at this location. The first time was not particularly impressive, either.
I felt embarrassed to have suggested this place to my friends.
Sunday 1pm reservation, seated immediately. Restaurant was empty. Good food & service. Reasonable prices. Large Bar to watch Sporting events.
Our girls night get togethers are always that much better when we meet at Granite City. We love the food and drinks and of course dessert! Enjoy ourselves every time!
Dinner with friends, we all had a great time and we all enjoyed our food
