Have have eaten here many times and have never been disapointed. It is a great local gem that is worth the drive if you are in the general Bergen/Rockland County area. It is intimate/cozy/romantic all at once. Seating is limited to approximately 30 to 40 individuals. There are just a handful of restaurants worth visiting in Westwood, NJ. The Grange is certainly one of the best.

Grange was a Fabulous dining experience! Everything was wonderful from the delicious food, the beautiful presentation & the impeccable service. We shared the crab cake appetizer as well as the shrimp. Then my boyfriend had the hangar steak & I had the salmon. We had asked that both be medium rare, and both were. We ended the meal with creme brûlée. I again have to mention, the service was the best we've had in over a year's worth of Saturday night dinners.

Fabulous food, fantastic service, fun vibe. Grange is a must on your list of go to dinner places. Live the BYOB element and the fact that you can customize your meal, if you choose. Brian is fabulous and Joel is a hoot (and an amazing chef). Love Grange. Make your reservations now!!!

Fantastic meals from beginning to end. Deviled eggs had a welcome spicy twist and potato latkes were over the top delicious & portion generous. Delicious hen with excellent braised leeks + rainbow pureed potatoes for me & skirt steak classic with fries for my date. Finished with layered brownie special with crème fraiche. Server was delightful & genuinely friendly. Chef's assistant came to ask us if we were enjoying our meal -- and we were! French press coffees to finish. Everything was just perfect! Also enjoy the BYOB nature of the restaurant.

Excellent food fairly priced. Interesting combinations and fresh ingredients. Limited seating and a small room, it gets very noisy. They really should consider some form of noise abatement.

IF you've lived in Western Bergen County for a while you may fondly remember Joel's Malibu in Ridgewood. Well, Joel is the chef at Grange is still delivering. The food was fresh, high quality and not loaded with heavy sauces or oil. Perfect for a night out with friends.

Small restaurant but acoustics make it noisy. The menu is small but enough variety with steak, pork, seafood options. The potato latke appetizer special was nicely prepared and tasty, though my husband and I both had to add salt. The skirt steak was very flavorful and the side salad it came with had an excellent dressing. The Apple bread pudding was mostly bread with only a little Apple and not enough cinnamon. I would not order that again. Overall a nice neighborhood restaurant. Prices were reasonable and it's a BYOB.

Dinner last night was wonderful! It was raining so there were not very many people out. We arrived at 7:30 and there was only one other table of people having dinner. Our dinners were the salmon and the pasta with silly sauce. Both were fantastic, the salmon was cooked to perfection!!! We would both order the salmon on a return visit. Oh, we will always try and return on a slow night, it was wonderful to talk with each other . This place can get noisy when filled up.

The food is generally good but not outstanding. Perhaps it's because the selection is so limited and the menu has not changed in well over a year. When you offer a limited menu it should change seasonally to keep customers coming back.

Had to ask for bread, deviled eggs were ok,
crab cakes although bought in error were deplorable at the asking price,
coconut shrimp was good, pork loin with barbeque sauce was just that... barbeque sauce seemed to be out of a jar way overpriced for a generic dish,
mussels marinara & pasta was excellent,
dessert was forgettable since I cant remember what either of us had

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. I had heard good things about Grange. It was a Tuesday evening, so it was very quiet. I love the ambience and the good was quite delicious. Gotta have the deviled eggs. We will definitely go back again.

Amazing dinner at Grange. The center came and asked us if we like spicy food and even added my wife's name to her plate in multi colored potatoes. We will definitely come back. If this place was real close to where we live, I would eat here everyday.

I had heard great reviews about Chef Joel a few years ago but missed having the opportunity to eat at his restaurant in Ridgewood before it closed. When i heard from 2 of my co-workers that he was now at Grange and that they really enjoyed their meals there, we decided to try it despite a 35 minute drive. Our total experience was nothing short of fantastic and we have eaten at many of the 4 and 5 star restaurants in NYC, the Hudson Valley and northern NJ. First of all, the staff was EXCEPTIONALLY welcoming and friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our waitress to come over and introduce herself and provide us with her suggestions on the menu. Everything she suggested was right on the mark. All of the dishes we had ( appetizers, entrees and dessert), were very tasty and nicely presented. Being a BYO makes your evening here even more enjoyable. Nothing better than having a great bottle of wine (that you don't pay a crazy marked up price for) with a terrific meal. It was also nice to see the chef walking around and asking how your meal was. The only draw back is that if you come early, the waiting area is VERY small . As far as your dining experience is concerned, You won't be disappointed. Enjoy!

We love Grange, but I have to say I had higher hopes this past dinner experience....the menu was almost identical to what it was over a year ago! I thought this was the kind of place that rotated their menu to keep people coming back for something new, chefs who love creating new dishes....knowing this will be the same menu, I can't say I need to rush back. I wish that wasn't the case b/c what we DID eat was fantastic (Filet Mignon & Skirt Steak)

An added touch for Valentine's Day was the ladies received a rose upon leaving, a very nice touch.

Fabulous find in Westwood.
Always looking for quality restaurants in Bergen with a diverse menu for the healthy minded eater.
Dined with my family and the food and service were outstanding!
Very cozy and warm dining room.
The food was meticulously prepared, the portions perfect, the sauces so perfectly paired with each dish.
My husband and I shared the crab cakes and we each had the trout; both outstanding.
Also impressed that the chef came out to confirm a vegetable swap.
Definitely plan to return in the future.
I am very selective about where I will dine out and Grange exceeded my expectations.
