The food is delicious, but comes in very small portions. We ate there for Valentine's Day, which had a set priced menu for $60. The main dish was so small it was like an appetizer. Everything tasted great and was very nice, but seemed very overpriced.

Good food. Took quite a long time to get a drink, then took a long time to get the appetizer, then took a really long time to get our main course. Unusual for Grange as I’ve had good experiences here before.

We held a faculty recruitment dinner at Grange. Their philosophy of locally sources foods is great. Some of their meals lacked flavor, but everything was fresh. The wait staff were quite impressive. Overall a very nice restaurant!

Food was great. One of my guests has many food allergies. She reviewed them with our server, the server spoke to the kitchen and when she returned to the table she told my guest exactly which items on the menu were safe. Because they could accommodate almost any of her needs, (this is not usually the case), she let the kitchen create her anything they wanted. They then prepared a totally original dish for her that met her every need. Awesome job by the entire staff, both front of the house and back of the house.

Our experience was good but not remarkable. Food was as it should be at this level, we had no complaints but no life-changing moments either. WE appreciate the local food thrust and want to keep it going.

The food was outstanding, as was the service. I have a number of food allergies, and the kitchen was exceptionally helpful with them. They had a number of entrees that I could eat, which is quite unusual. Since they don't marinate their meats, and cook from scratch, the are able to be quite flexible. They even remade a dish for me when there was an ingredient I was allergic to. I'll be back soon!

I always enjoy eating at Grange. Menu changes on a regular basis, food is always excellent and the servers are easy to interact with - they can help you make informed choices without being pushy or pretentious. Plus, the menu has variety and the kitchen is flexible, so I can take people I don't know well and still be sure they can get a meal that works.

We've been there many times, this time it was very disappointing
Food was okay, cocktails better.
There was a distinct sewer like Odor that was not there before.
They explained that it was due to done pipes in the walls.
Anyway, we will not be going there again until that is fixed

We love this place. The food is always outstanding - the chef does amazing things with really pedestrian ingredients. It was restaurant week, and I ordered the trout with cauliflower three ways for my entree. Who even knew that there were three ways to prepare cauliflower? Awesome place!

Chicken was waaay undercooked. Salad came out without any dressing. Long gap between appetizers (which were outstanding!) and entrees (which were a disaster as noted above. It's Restaurant Week, which we understand creates pressures for the kitchen. But this was egregiously bad. Service was good and there was no point in punishing server with a bad tip. We were there with a business partner and didn't want to make a stink. But honestly.....execution in the kitchen was Not Good At All.

We ordered from the restaurant week menu. There were great options and it was hard to select two items in each category.(we shared each item so we were able to taste more)
The food, as it always is, was delicious with multiple flavors in each item.
It is a great place to dine and eat wonderful food!

While the atmosphere was very nice and the service quite good, there was a strange sulphur smell that came and went near our table. The server offered to move us and mentioned it may have something to do with the old pipes in the building. The entries were fine, except one must have had to wait for the other and arrived lukewarm. The duck was somewhat rubbery and difficult to cut. The salads were delicious and the service quite good, but we won't likely return because it's fairly expensive and not worth a repeat.

We went for a double date with our best friends. The pierogi appetizer was the highlight of the meal. The charcuterie tray was disappointing except for the delicious assortment of pickled vegetables. The fish entrees had a clean taste but were nothing remarkable. The goose entrees (which we ordered because they were out of duck) were flavorless. Our desert of cake & icecream was truly delicious - a perfect blend of salty & sweet. Without the pierogi & dessert, the evening would have been quite an overpriced disappointment.

The Grange is located in a wonderful old building.
We were able to have a conversation, as the space is quiet.
Unfortunately, our food wasn't flavorful and my meal was cold.

Earlier this fall, my husband and I ate brunch outside at Grange...just LOVED it! On our second visit, we were with our daughter and her sorority sister after the recent OSU vs Michigan football game. Honestly, when I first looked at the dinner menu, I didn't think I'd like it so much (for dinner), but a guest who couldn't make our reservation, after all, had chosen Grange (so very sorry we missed his attendance). It was fantastic, and we had the same lovely and kind server as we did for brunch. My roasted fall vegetable salad was terrific Post-Thanksgiving, and the halibut was perfect (I don't see it listed on the online menu--I only see whitefish and trout, but I'm certain our server said they just updated their menu, and halibut was the fish I ordered.). The other guests ordered the pork loin and roasted chicken, and enjoyed them very much. For dessert, we were quite full, so we shared something unusual: sage ice cream. It was tasty, and I'm glad we tried it, but I probably would opt for a different flavor in the future. We are on target to try as many of A2's wonderful restaurants as we can while our daughter is a student at Michigan. Grange is definitely one in which we will plan repeat visits.

We were in Ann Arbor for the weekend and had Sunday brunch at Grange. We had heard about the hash with Duck Confeti and the breakfast Tacos. It was excellent! Looking forward to our next visit and trying the dinner menu.

Nice brunch for family (grandfather / granddaughter), good food & drinks. Cocktails are OK but a little weak and overpriced. One disappointment since last time having brunch here was a smaller selection and the Scotch eggs were no longer on the brunch menu.

Being forced to donate to a cause that I know nothing about is not cool. We showed up for dinner and were "forced" to donate to some cause, I don't mind giving donations, but if you are going to increase the prices of everything you should let people know up front.

We visited Grange again last week, bringing along additional friends - first timers! The food was excellent, the service was great and the bar tenders serve the best martini's in Ann Arbor. Wine selection is good and pricing was appropriate for the evening - about $50/person which included food, cocktails and dessert. We gave is 5 stars - this was our 2nd trip to Grange
