Wonderful Father's Day Brunch - nothing special about the menu but the ingredients were fresh and the food was cooked perfectly. Also the price point was much less than expected for this downtown Ann Arbor location - we had been there for dinner before, and I don't think the value as as good for the price for dinner - though still very good
The Grange always delivers a superior dining experience; there's always something special about a dish. I can't recommend the duck fat fries highly enough. It's one of my favorites in Ann Arbor.

Grange never disappoints...especially on restaurant week. My partner is a professional chef and caterer and it is the only restaurant in Ann Arbor that exceeds his standards. The fresh ingredients and attention to detail is above and beyond. Chef Mel's deserts are unique and cannot be replicated. Service is always prompt and friendly as well. One of the only places that does not use GFS or Sysco!
The entire dining experience was exceptional from the service to the food and beverages. The pairing of flavors in the main dishes was spot-on and paired well with an excellent selection of wines. The cocktail bar is top-notch as well.
The server was super nice and friendly when she was around, but seemed very busy and all over the place. Getting drinks took a little longer than normal for the first round and at one point she was super attentive while we were waiting for the food, but after the app came out she rarely checked on us other than to deliver the main course. My water was always full, but I was never offered another drink which I'll admit was partly my fault for not asking when she came around, but it honestly slipped my mind in place of having to explain that my order was incomplete (missing shrimp). That said, the food was great as always...although the service left much to be desired, i guess it could have been much worse.

Inventive fresh seasonal food. Great atmosphere. Had a very inattentive server, however. Not usually the case here.
This was our first time at Grange, and we enjoyed it very much. We look forward to returning soon.
Wonderful meal. The whole roasted chicken is to die for. You get so used to store-bought chicken, you forget how the "real" way a bird should taste. Brandon, the chef/owner is a fantastic host. Audry is an excellent waiter. We never miss an opportunity to go to Grange when we are in town from Houston, TX.

It does not worth the price considering the food quality and time wasted on waiting. It takes us 2 hours for appetizers, entree, and one piece of cake. Most of the time dining in this restaurant is spent on waiting, endless waiting. Food quality is mediocre at most. "Local" does not necessarily indicate "good". BTW, the whole restaurant has only one waitress, and she will not bring you bread unless you ask for it.
They did not have enough wait staff so service was slow. Food was fine, but just that. Nothing special.
Interesting food, delicious, and locally sourced. Trifecta achieved!

We have loved coming here in the past, but this years visit did not live up to previous years experiences. The food seems to be quite overpriced, and most portions are extremely small so that they are simply not enough food for one person. They have switched to an a la carte menu so you must purchase sides as an additional charge. Had I known the change in menu, I would have chosen a different restaurant to celebrate my husbands birthday.
Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu including the wine. Her demeanor was relaxed, friendly and attentive. The food was well presented and delicious. We had the tasting menu w/wine pairings. I’m not much of a desert person but the buttermilk Penna cotta with honey brittle and milk ice with bee pollen and honey was the best desert I’ve ever had.
The Grange is always hit or miss. And, it’s always been that way.
We were seated right away. We ordered some drinks and they came in a timely manner. We ordered our food and it took an hour of us being there before it arrived at our table. The food was mediocre. There was no seasoning/flavor in either of the dishes we got. I do appreciate the fresh food, but it really lacked flavor. We would probably not go back when there are so many great restaurants in the area.
My wife and I had a great five course meal with wine pairing. This was by far the best dinning experience we had in A2 in a long time. Great job to all who were involved in the total experience.

The food was interesting and delicious. The service was just right, not to fast or slow and very friendly and accommodating. Excellent restaurant, but we had our kids with us and I would not recommend if you have chicken nuggets and fries kind of kids. My 12 year old will eat anything and had the burger, which he loved, but my finicky 9 year old couldn't find anything on the menu to suit her. She ended up with french fries and water. We went for my husband's birthday and had Sunday brunch. I had the poutine, which was really good and filling. The lemon pancakes were a hit at our table and my son's burger (egg and all) was gone! It wasn't crowded or noisy. Very nice atmosphere. The restrooms were downstairs and really cold, but super clean and updated.
On a separate occasion we gave an outstanding review. The food is still excellent but we were really disappointed by the change to a Small Plate formula. The $18 Charcuterie plate had hardly any meat on it besides the toast and the pickled vegetables. The $33 Butcher's Cut advertised as a "Full Plate entree" was not much more substantial than the small plates. Also the Chef's Tasting Menu was not even listed on the new menu. Oh my....
We had high hopes for this place because of a friends recommendation but it was an overall disappointment. The drinks were too strong to the point we were unable to drink them. My pork tacos were dry. My husband had the duck heart and was thoroughly impressed. We had a few appetizers and they were good. Our server seemed confused about the menu and was inattentive at times.
Yum! A good local farm to table restaurant. The food was delicious with small portions we savored every bite. A bit cold by the door. Nice atmosphere! Great for a date.
The food was excellent, but the service was poor. One server looked to be assigned to at least 7 tables and thus did not have time to check in regularly. This made for empty wine and water glasses and a long post dinner wait for table clearing and dessert menu.
Very well presented and prepared food and great service. The locally grown ingredients theme is what drew me to this restaurant.
This is me and my husband’s first choice, go-to pick for date nights. We love the farm-to-table practices and Grange does it best in A2. The particular options of the ever-changing menu were slightly underwhelming this time around but it was still a lovely evening at our fav restaurant.

What a great place! Decorated great. cozy. Farmhouse feel. Service was amazingly attentive. Then the food came. Geez how great! Superb quality. Attention to detail and plate presentation was amazing. Then you dig in and just think WOW! Delicious doesn’t quite cover it. This is our second time here. We drove fro Toledo to eat here! Def on our list of favorites. Can’t wait to come back! This place is truly exceptional!!!
This is our go to restaurant for almost every occasion. It's great for brunch, cocktails and snacks, a casual family dinner or a special occasion. The seasonal menu, craft cocktails and excellent service make it hard to beat. If you have the time and the appetite, the chef's tasting menu is always extraordinary.

The food is delicious, but comes in very small portions. We ate there for Valentine's Day, which had a set priced menu for $60. The main dish was so small it was like an appetizer. Everything tasted great and was very nice, but seemed very overpriced.
Good food. Took quite a long time to get a drink, then took a long time to get the appetizer, then took a really long time to get our main course. Unusual for Grange as I’ve had good experiences here before.
