We always visit Grange whenever we are in A2. Great food, great service, and some of the best tasting chicken I've ever had. Highly recommended.

It’s great food from local sources. I had the lemon pancakes, which were fantastic. Plus the zucchini bread was top notch.

We had a fantastic dinner 🍴 n Saturday evening. For appetizers we had fried green tomatoes, cornmeal crust, crunchy goodness. Nice salads, peach and tomato was great! Dinner was lake perch on a corn base. Perfectly cooked. Delicious! We had a berry and meringue dessert that was a nice ending to a great meal!

The Grange is my favorite restaurant in Ann Arborthe flavors are always interesting, the use of local, seasonal ingredients let the ingredients shine through, with inventive and taste perfect pairings of herbs, never disappointed.

Our bill was over $80. The salmon entry was awful and literally inedible. I am not a fussy person. For the cost this rates as one of the worst entrees I have ever had.

Grange is the type of restaurant where it really pays off to go during the right season. Because most of the menu is local, the ingredients, and hence the food, is best when "in season." July through November will be outstanding, although I suspect they are very creative in the winter when ingredient choice is more limited. Dinner in August here is nearly ideal. Among other things, we shared the heritage chicken with the cornbread stuffing. It was excellent. Cocktails were likewise outstanding. The real standout, however, was the dessert. Save room and bring an open mind.

I adore this restaurant! They have mastered food to table and do it so well. The dishes are simple yet deliciously elegant. The restaurant itself is also clean and simple, but they've done it so well....even the restrooms. It's not a crazy, loud place which is a nice change from so many other restaurants.

The food was great. The drawback was how the staff handled the bill. We were a party of six, and the bill came out. It was $295. We all handed our credit cards in and I went to the bathroom. On the way back up the stairs, I overheard who I presume to be the manager say to the wait staff, “Don’t forget to hit them for 20%”. We got our cards back with the slips and it said $356. If I hadn’t spotted this, nobody would have noticed and they would have doubled up on tip. Nowhere on the menu was it noted that for parties of 6 or more gratuities are automatically added. To me, this was a bit sly. For that, we will never go back, or recommend the place.

Wonderful Father's Day Brunch - nothing special about the menu but the ingredients were fresh and the food was cooked perfectly. Also the price point was much less than expected for this downtown Ann Arbor location - we had been there for dinner before, and I don't think the value as as good for the price for dinner - though still very good

Grange never disappoints...especially on restaurant week. My partner is a professional chef and caterer and it is the only restaurant in Ann Arbor that exceeds his standards. The fresh ingredients and attention to detail is above and beyond. Chef Mel's deserts are unique and cannot be replicated. Service is always prompt and friendly as well. One of the only places that does not use GFS or Sysco!

The server was super nice and friendly when she was around, but seemed very busy and all over the place. Getting drinks took a little longer than normal for the first round and at one point she was super attentive while we were waiting for the food, but after the app came out she rarely checked on us other than to deliver the main course. My water was always full, but I was never offered another drink which I'll admit was partly my fault for not asking when she came around, but it honestly slipped my mind in place of having to explain that my order was incomplete (missing shrimp). That said, the food was great as always...although the service left much to be desired, i guess it could have been much worse.

Wonderful meal. The whole roasted chicken is to die for. You get so used to store-bought chicken, you forget how the "real" way a bird should taste. Brandon, the chef/owner is a fantastic host. Audry is an excellent waiter. We never miss an opportunity to go to Grange when we are in town from Houston, TX.

It does not worth the price considering the food quality and time wasted on waiting. It takes us 2 hours for appetizers, entree, and one piece of cake. Most of the time dining in this restaurant is spent on waiting, endless waiting. Food quality is mediocre at most. "Local" does not necessarily indicate "good". BTW, the whole restaurant has only one waitress, and she will not bring you bread unless you ask for it.
