Decent place for brunch, But there are plenty of better places in Ann Arbor. I give this brunch a grade of a C+/C .

Dinner for my wife’s birthday. Grange is our favorite place in A2. Shared the whitefish pierogi for a starter, which was unique and excellent. Started wither a glass of champagne and the went with a nice bottle of cabernet from the short but sufficiently diverse list available. Service and atmosphere were excellent. Radish salad was interesting, but somewhat underwhelming, and my wife had a kohlrabi noodle salad that was really very nice. Butchers cut was sirloin. Really, sirloin? I haven’t eaten sirloin in 30 yrs and not going to try and choke that down so we passed and both went with duck breast. Had better. Greens were gritty as thought not thoroughly cleaned and duck was a bit tough and modest in flavor. Didn’t go with dessert as the options were just not that inspired. We’ve been spoiled by some pretty good restaurant experiences in our life and despite this experience I’d say Grange remains the best in Ann Arbor.

Food here is for the adventurous palate! Charcuterie is mainly meats. Ordered the trout and it was undercooked, should have sent back, but didn't. Expensive.

My family and I (6 of us) came here for dinner, and it was hands-down, amazing. All of the food was cooked to perfection; the chef did a fantastic job curating his menu. We even had desert here too - I got the salted chocolate ice-cream and my mother got the strawberry sorbet. They were respectively delicious, HOWEVER the real treat is when you mix the strawberry and chocolate together. OMG, give me more.

Will defiantly come back.

Also, its farm to table which is also great. Using Open Table to make reservations was also very easy to do.

Restaurant Week encouraged us to make a reservation again. Well, what a great decision! The meals from start to finish using a lot of local food vendors/farmers were so delicious. Highlights of the best included the smoked whitefish cakes and white gazpacho as appetizers and the chicken (oh the chicken delectable juicy and melted in one's mouth) dish. The trout was also amazing. Thank you; we won't wait until the next restaurant week to return.

We were a party of six. Made reservation in advance and still had to wait over ten minutes to be seated in their separate closed patio section. The place was terribly noise partially because of a large party in the room, partially because of blasting music that served no purpose at all. People had to yell at each other just to overcome the music volume.

The outside temperatures was in the 70-ies but the air conditioner was blasting frigid air on us and despite the server's promises the restaurant manager would not have it turned off. Server was very nice and accommodation (Gary). Overall it was a rather poor experience, don't think that I will eat at this chain ever again.

I really wanted to like Grange, but they made it really difficult. Let’s start with drinks. The website advertises Happy Hour, but when we ordered drinks at our table they said we could only get Happy Hour prices if we sat at the bar, not at a table. Really? It’s so easy to make customers happy, but this is a great way to start the evening on a sour note. Then there were a lot of silly little things like getting the pasta special for my entree and being served a tiny appetizer portion and then being told I could order a second appetizer if I wanted more. C’mon.

One word about the food. The sourcing and the ingredients were impeccable, but the chef really needs to back away from the salt shaker. All five of us with five different entrees were way salted out. Like stupid levels of salt.

I wish a could have liked it.

Brunch at grange was a perfect way to celebrate my graduation. Low key atmosphere, delicious food. The prices were very fair for Ann Arbor too. We usually think of Grange as a splurge meal, but we were surprised to compare our other common brunch spots to Grange. The quality of the meal far surpasses many other brunches in the area for the same price or even less! Can't wait to be back.

The food was pretty good but on a Friday night @7 we were one of 3 tables in the restaurant. The waitress was cold and had zero personality. The drinks were very good. I would like to try the brunch but I don’t know that I would go back for dinner.

We used to love Grange, but we hadn't been there in six months or so. We wondered why it was empty when we walked on. Explanation: My food was so bad I could hardly eat it. A pile of intensely greasy brussel sprouts with some intensely greasy leek cakes thrown on top. Like a nightmare vegetarian fry-up. My husband's fish tasted fine, but had no crisp on the skin and was lying on a lake of watery mashed sunchokes. Maybe the chef was off and someone's nephew stepped in for the night? Drinks, as always, were great.

Everything was great except the steak. The rib eye was very tough and overly fatty. Also, all steaks come sliced and this was not made known before hand. One steak was sent back for being extremely rare and we sent 2 plates back due to being overall poor. They rest of the food was outstanding.

We had the steak which we were told was wonderful. It was so tough, we couldn’t get through any piece of it. We brought it to the staff’s attention and she said it must have been the cut that made it so tough. Amazingly enough, that entree was still on our bill when we cashed out. I expect a restaurant of this caliber to recognize a meal that doesn’t meet their standard and not charge the customer. I understand a restaurant can’t always know when their product is good until it’s served, it’s not fixing the issue that is the problem. We won’t choose to return.

We had a great time at the Grange. Very quiet. Easy to have a conversation. Loved the cocktails, the salad and the desserts. Mixed reviews on entrees. The duck was a big hit. The trout was salty (even for us salt lovers), though the sides were very good. And the curried potato cakes were delicious but, since all veg, too small a serving and that party started eating off of others' plates. We loved the coffee and sampler dessert. The Grange is one of our favorite restaurants in town.

Four of us were delighted to find multiple items on the brunch menu to choose from and we all have different tastes when it comes to breakfast (full carb, low carb, veggie lover, foodie). I chose the omelet special - tomato preserves, kale, and goat cheese. It was delicious. The breakfast potatoes were seasoned and crispy. The service was perfect - she was there when we needed her and she also gave us plenty of breathing room. With wood floors, it is a bit echoey but not so loud that it would keep me away. Parking was a pain. I had parked on the street outside the restaurant. Mid-way through breakfast (at noon) the signs on the meters that said "free parking until 2 pm" had mysteriously vanished and I was asked to move my car so it would not get towed. This is not the restaurant's fault, just a head's up that parking is not plentiful. None of us live in A2 so we weren't sure what parking was available, and should have asked ahead of time.

Truly an outstanding meal from cocktails to dessert with superb service - shout out to audrey! Rivals some of the very best from my home town of Chicago. Unique, creative, ample. Not fussy just delicious. Recommend corpse reviver cocktail, fried Brussels sprouts, perogues , chorizo dates, walleye, buttermilk ice cream. Yum

I hate it have to say this but the food was very disappointing. The fries cooked in duck fat were over salted and not particularly fresh tasting. They were not hot and crispy. The Michigan lake trout was good but the sides were lack luster. The salad was ok. The Pane Cotta with shaved ice was just strange. I must say, on my previous visits the desserts have always been disappointing. Not excited to return soon
