We had never eaten at this restaurant before. We had a very nice experience. Our table was kind of out of the way which was nice. The food was very good. Our server was new but did a nice job. We would go there again.

I’m afraid this dinner did not meet expectations. It took over an hour for our food to arrive, the pork chops were burnt, and we sat next to a very drafty door. I was disappointed because they have a great menu and location, but this just was a frustrating evening all the way around. There was no explanation and little apology around the situation, so I can’t say what the issue was specifically.

I love this place. It’s elegant and classy but somehow laid back. We typically go on Thursdays. The fried cod is uncommonly delicious. The steak is impressive. The salads are perfect. Highly recommended from this guy.

We ate at Grandview tavern on a Saturday night. We were great at White away by the host of sin seated. Unfortunately we were seated next to the windows and the temperature in Kentucky was around 30°. So we froze most of the time we were sitting there. The waitress was slow in pretty much so everything that she needed to do all the way from getting our drinks to taking our order to delivering our food. I had their meatloaf which was just okay. The temperature of the food was on the cool side. My husband had their ribeye and he said it was pretty good. Oh yes we did have the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer and we like spicy cocktail sauce. And their cocktail sauce fit the bill. We also had their creme brulee and it was fantastic. For us this was a 35 minute drive so we probably will not return. Doesn't mean you shouldn't try it.

We went for a birthday celebration. We went on the weekend during brunch but no one got breakfast. Everyone got a burger or other sandwich. According to the group, the only "bad" meal was the reuben sandwich. The burgers were excellent, as was the turkey club. Dessert was excellent too.

We enjoyed the drinks - great bourbon selection and well-prepared mixed drinks. There was a great variety of food on the menu, something special for everyone in our group of 4. We did not experience the per-person automatic bread up charge mentioned in some prior reviews (we also did not receive or order bread). The service was a bit slower than I would have preferred, but it was tolerable. We visited at prime dinner time on a Friday night - there was not live music, and there were empty tables. We ordered the brie appetizer, which was delicious. Members of our party ordered the meatloaf, the BBQ chicken pizza, and the scallops. The bacon that came on the scallops was HUGE, more like a pancetta. Everyone raved about their dishes. We had apple crumble for dessert - it was amazing, and honestly all of their desert choices sounded equally delicious.

Have had lunch there before and enjoyed but was in back room. Our table was near bar during Bengals game. Service was average and my wife’s filet was a little chewy and the portion size of my sea bass was tiny. At the price point for those items, I was disappointed.

Vast menu with a wonderful bourbon selection! Service was very good for how busy they were. Only critique would be interior needs upgrading especially the bathrooms. Otherwise amazing experience, a true gem in Northern Kentucky!
