M lounge adjacent to the Grand Met is best known for our signature martinis, tasty sushi, and an energetic atmosphere.
The perfect setting for any occasion the Grand Met restaurant and M lounge are always at your service.
Elmer the waiter is great. You need more sushi chefs because it was a 40 minute wait so I didn’t order sushi, but had other great food
Great culinary experience as always
Had a business dinner here. Filet was so tender and perfectly cooked.
Great culinary experience
Ordered a steak and it was gummy. Seemed to be of poor quality, unlike others I have ordered in the past.
Had a great breakfast and lunch there, but dinner was marginal. Service was excellent, and the appetizer was excellent.
Great culinary experience
Food and service were very good, but they couldn't find our Open Table reservation. So that was a little frustrating. Great place to go if you have a layover in DFW and want to meet friends from the area, (our situation). Food is a little pricey, ($100 for 4 people), but that wouldn't stop me if the same situation came up again.
Limited menu but very good food. Service was outstanding! Everyone was very friendly.
This is a restaurant at the Grand Hyatt at the Dallas Fort Worth airport. The food was good. It's noisy though. The menu's are on an iPad which is fun, but a little annoying as everyone is then looking down at yet another device! I want device free dining.........it was a convenient place to eat and our food was very good. I would only dine here as we did because we stayed one night at the airport. I'm sure it's an excellent place for a business dinner. The breakfast the next morning was VERY good!
We had an unplanned overnight stay at DFW due to mechanical failure on 1/17/2018. After a long day of disappointment, we chose the Grand Met in hopes of finding a bright spot in an otherwise dreary travel day. Our expectations were greatly exceeded. The Grand Met's interior, staff and food were what we'd expect from a fine urban restaurant seeking repeat business, far better than what we expected from what could be a "One & Done" traveller's food stop. The manager Anthony visited our table to be sure everything was excellent and we were happy to give him a great report on all aspects of our experience. Our server Jimmy deserves special praise as well, gracious, knowledgeable and efficient. Wagu Beef sushi rolls and porks shank were both tasty and farily priced for airport proprery
The Grand Met is best at DFW, but would hold its own away from the airport complex. A delight to have it at the Grand Hyatt. Great option, preparations, and service. Recommended.
We had a wonderful Christmas dinner at the Grand Met. Everybody liked his/her food, and the service was very good. Our waiter was personable and just the right amount of gregarious.
True culinary experience
Perfect for business lunch meeting at airport. They accommodated with ease our request for a quieter table. The service was phenomenal - including accommodating with a smile some special dietary considerations. Food we excellent. Highly recommend.
Excellent food, good service
Great culinary experience
Very accommodating. Met there for business with one person flying in. Plane was delayed but they held the table. Had drinks, edamame(very good) and cheese plate waiting for last member of party to arrive. All good. Wait staff was very attentive. Entrees were excellent. Would definitely go again.
New chef/menu alert. We gave it a try. Good overall. Some dishes were too salty for me.
With a business meeting at DFW, there weren't that many nearby dining options. This one both was very convenient and had surprisingly good food!
I had the mussels for appetizer and the short rib for my entree. Everything was excellent!
Our server, Wayland, was outstanding. We were having a business meeting over lunch and Wayland was attentive, but not obtrusive. Great place in the airport to have a business meeting. The food selection was great and everyone enjoyed the meal.
My husband had a business meeting and we were staying the night at the Grand Hyatt DFW so we decided to give the Grand Met a try. We were not disappointed! Ambiance was lovely, food was delicious, staff was curtious and very attentive. The Wine Wall was impressive and our server was very knowledgeable regarding their wines. I would highly recommend the Grand Met for business meetings, romantic dinners or even perhaps a Birthday or Anniversary dinner.
Food is consistently good. Service is always great. Our waiter knows us and take good care of our dining needs every time. We love to go back!
Quick service. Our waitress went above and beyond to provide excellent dining experience. We are fully satisfied with everything there for birthday celebration.
We met two friends at the Grand Met at DFW airport, who were waiting on a connecting flight the next morning. We had a great time and enjoyed the drinks and the food very much. The service was great, in the bar and the restaurant. Two of us has the asparagus soup, which was a new taste experience, and was very much enjoyed. Our entree was the halibut, and it was delicious, seasoned and prepared expertly with a medley of garden vegetables. Our friends had lamb chops and sea bass, and were both well pleased. Although we probably would never have gone to the Grand Met, had we not been meeting friends at the airport, I'm glad we did. If you ever have a layover, or want to meet friends or family connecting at DFW, it would be a great place to join them, and enjoy a fine dinner.
Lovely food and setting for romantic occasion. We are fully satisfied with everything there for anniversary celebration.
We got our favorite server again! He is always very attentive and willing to go out of his way to please the customers. Great recommendations for what to eat.
Our recent find of the appetizers are worth re-visiting. I took 2 appetizers as my main dish: Mussels & Bank Sea Scallops. Really like the taste!
We have eaten at the Grand Met on two previous occasions when traveling through DFW. Each meal has been well-prepared, served at appropriate temperatures and had excellent wait staff. This visit we had a chicken and, separately, a fish dish. Both were delicious and ample in quantity. Our waiter, Elmer, was special in helping us narrow-down an excellent menu and not missing a beat on our progress through the evening.
Enjoy their food, and especially their small plates, which is always very good... Sea bass is always great.
Like to eat there, as like the food, choice of dishes specifically the sea bass...
For some reasons, the kitchen is often slow which can be an issue, but will
go back for sure!
We got vanilla ice cream and another kind of ice cream with a bit of alcoholic ingredient. Both come with hot caramel sauce. Awesome!
A very expensive meal for very ordinary and not particularly good food. Presentations
were nice and service outstanding but the menu left a lot to be desired.
One of our dishes came cold (probably because our waiter didn't bring it over immediately), BUT the manager is awesome AND our waiter paid attention to our feedback and did everything to make us happy. They took the dish off our bill and the desserts were complimentary! We were amazed at such consideration and excellent service, so much so that we ended up tipping 50%! They deserve it. We will definitely come back and highly recommend to friends and family.
Wonderful food! This restaurant never disappoints
Service is superb!
Even people served us before came to the table and greeted us...
And when they made a mistake (wrong dish), it's corrected right away and they got those items off the bill (though we already finished).
Definitely will come again!
attentive waiter and consistently good food. worth re-visiting!
