The Grand Finale has been one of my favorite restaurants since childhood. I live behind Kings Island in Deerfield Township and thus restaurant is always in the top three whenever we are going to eat out - special occasion, lunch with friends, quiet dinner . I highly recommend it to anyone - works for any age.
Everything was absolutely wonderful. Yes, it is a little pricy but believe me it is completely worth every penny! I’ve never left anything less than full and happy. The perfect service is complimented by equally as good food. I’m excited for our next special occasion.
Had not been to this restaurant for several years. Visited again for a special birthday and the Grand Finale did not disappoint. Good food, good quiet ambiance and wonderful service once again. We will be going again soon.
We could not have had a more lovely meal! The service was superb and the food was spectacular.
My husband and I enjoy the brunch, good food, friendly atmosphere for the family. Food is worth the menu prices.
Great food. The crepes are always good and something one does not find on other menus. We always try to eat at Grand Finale whenever we are in Cincinnati.
poor the grouper was really cod
the place is tired
the bathrooms smell
Always delightful. Chicken Ginger is so good. My husband had aTuna Steak. Delicious. We always end with a wonderful dessert.
one of our favorite restaurants. food is always delicious - never had anything we didn’t love. staff is experienced, efficient, pleasant and helpful. Cincinnati is a town full of restaurants, but Grand Finale is unique !!!!
Great food and service.
Great food great ambiance and great service
I've been to this restaurant four times so far. Twice for brunch and twice for dinner. The food is always delicious. The brunch has a nice selection and the smaller portions lead to less waste and more options for you to try. Our waitress tonight was Karen and she was an absolute delight. The French onion soup is divine. Wonderful dessert options. The decor in the restaurant adds character. Definitely a restaurant worth visiting.
Had a great time . Excellent atmosphere, service, and overall experience. Would definitely recommend for any occasion.
Food was good but could not enjoy the dinner because a huge blower was blowing cold air at our table for most of the meal.
My go-to restaurant of choice!
Food was excellent, tasty and we'll portioned. Mike, our server is a real professional.
We had a lovely time! As a former Cincy resident, I used to come to Grand Finale for all of our special occasions. I moved away 20 yrs ago, but visit occasionally and always make a trip to GF. Thus time I brought friends who'd never been to Cincinnati before and the loved it too. I've been so happy to find that the place has remained consistently excellent. Sometimes you can go home again! We had the divers scallops and chocolate cordial pie for dessert and my friends are new GF fans.
We hadn't been to Grand Finale in years, but it was just as delicious, with some of the old favorites still on the menu. Our server was fantastic, and even though it was pouring down rain outside, inside we were cozy and comfortable and able to enjoy a wonderful meal with family and friends. The tuna appetizer was fantastic! The ginger chicken is always a winner. Loved our evening out.
As usual, great food, superb service and charming atmosphere.
Laid back upscale ambience. Most agreeable. Laid back upscale ambience. Most agreeable. Laid back upscale ambience. Most agreeable.
Celebrated our anniversary. This is the 25th-30th time celebrating it at Grand Finale. As always, a very good time. Good food, not rushed, easy to talk.
The food is always great, and the traditional atmosphere (starting with the antique furniture) is calming.
We ate the Sunday brunch. Our scrambled eggs and poached eggs were cold. Food was mediocre for the price. We sat next to a table of screaming kids. The crowd is very rude, pushy, and prudish. We will not be back.
My favorite place to eat! I love the chicken ginger. Every time I am back in Ohio I try to go here. Quiet atmosphere, homie feeling, with great service. I’ve been going here for over ten years and have never been disappointed.
A lovely dinner for an anniversary celebration! Great wine list -- we chose Chimney Rock Cabernet, which you don't often see in restaurants. Crepe starters are unique and always delicious, key lime pie for dessert was presented with a celebratory candle, which was a lovely touch. We hadn't been for many years and were so pleased that the ambiance was just as we remembered!
Excellent service, entrees and deserts were outstanding. Courtyard area is the best area for small parties.
Always a place I choose to entertain out of town guests and have never been disappointed.
We did the 2 for $44 which was a good value. Two meals and a bottle of wine. We went early and therefore it was quiet and relaxing.
Always has been our" special treat" place to go. Never disappointed. Great ambiance, food, service, and delightful menu...AND DESERTS💕. We will always continue to visit and enjoy. Thanks to the long traditions that continue.
Very nice atmosphere with excellent food and service at a value price.
Took a friend to lunch to thank her for helping me after my injury. I couldn’t think of a nicer way to show my gratitude.
Have been going to Grand Finale for 39 years, and every time it has been wonderful with fabulous food, great service and unique ambiance!
I am afraid to say that our dining experience was not as good as before.
The place is starting to get rather frayed and in need of a revamp. It does not need to become a souless place but some new carpet and a lick of paint would do wonders.
The food was good, but not outstanding as before. While tasty, the menu needs a revamp too. Saying that, the desserts remain a reason to come here.
Service was good and reasonably quick like before.
Some money needs to be spent to make this the place it was before.
Grand Finale is for celebrations! Excellent food. Impeccable customer service. And my 93-year-old mother most specially treated.
We have made this a yearly reunion and we chose the Grand Finale because of its beauty! Our meals were wonderful and our waiter was one the ball. Thank you for a very nice evening.
The food was good. I brought a friend for her first time. The waitress was never around though
Grand Finale was not my taste, but it definitely has loads of character. It is good for groups and definitely for those that appreciate history. I could see this as an ideal location for a family celebration with older relatives. The location is great. Their only competition that is close is chain fare. The food just wasn't my taste and I thought the prices were very high. That being said- the cheesecake was some of the best I ever had. I get the name Grand Finale...
Halibut was fine. Soup of the day was delightful. Salads were average. Seafood pasta just ok. Crepes, which are obviously a mainstay given their real estate on the menu were subpar. They should be taken away.
Seating was crowded and cumbersome.
Our waitress however was seasoned at her job.
Our food was very good and the server was efficient and friendly. We didn't feel pushed to wrap up our meal for the next patron.
