Great service and ambiance. Will return! The wine menu is fantastic.
I ordered the chicken and waffles. Neither had any flavor. The "half chicken" was half of a tiny chicken breast and was dry as a bone. The waffle was so over cooked that it crunchy and difficult to cut through. Other tables around us didn't get food or drinks for over 30 minutes. I will never come back here for another meal, especially with all of the great options in SLO for food.
Lovely experience and delicious meal.
I always love to eat at Granada. The food and ambiance are excellent!
Definitely good, but the bill adds up quick. Wine by the glass prices are silly.
Wonderful service, everyone friendly, delicious shrimp appetizer and duck dish. Beautiful patio and indoor dining
We walked out after 15 minutes due to poor service. Ignored at the hostess station, and after an effort finally being seated, we waited over 10 minutes while being essestionally ignored and not even beoing able to place a drink order.
Had reservations . Very slow service. Left after a glass of wine and found another place for dinner.
Prices have gone up, food quality down. Wonder if new chef?
Friendly courteous staff. Noisy kids from nearby event on the terrace
My friends and I had a lovely dinner on their sweet patio. We had the shrimp appetizer, beets and carrots, Gnocchi, salmon and soba noodles and it was all delicious. The spice margarita was really tasty as well.
Cute retro place with a separate bar. The fig Gorgonzola and candied walnut salad was delicious. The ribs were meaty tender and quite good if not a bit dry. Loved the garlicky Brussel sprouts. Servers great. Ate inside while most diners were on patio. Wish the menu had more offerings.
Went to celebrate husband's birthday. I noted this on the reservation, but there wasn't a word said about it. It was a beautiful evening so we were seated outside and the ambience was very nice.
For starters we shared the pear and spinach salad. It was delicious! We then both ordered the lamb ragout which was to be served with etto reginette pasta (which is a short pasta that would have been perfect with a ragout). When we were served our meal we noticed that the ragout was served with fettuccine that was thick, starchy and sticky. We mentioned this to our server who had not been informed of the change to the dish. We spoke to the manager and he said he would mention it to the chef. He apologized and hoped we would try them again when we were back in town. We let him know we were locals, but locals that wouldn't be returning.
Everything was amazing! Brussels Sprouts, Beet salad and lamb burger were the best we have ever had!
Brussels sprouts and salads were excellent. Drinks were really good also. Enjoyed sitting on the patio.
Wonderful. Excellent food and drink. Helped celebrate husband’s return from the fireline.
Lovely evening on the patio, plenty of heaters going to keep you warm. Started with the beet salad, it was delicious, the pesto dressing was a great compliment to the dish. As entrees we ordered the chicken dish and the ribs, both were fantastic. Service is always impeccable. As an added bonus, they hands down have the best play list, always fun to sit and listen while sipping one of their signature cocktails.
Beautifully styled indoor and outdoor spaces. Great food and good service. Very comfortable.
Went for brunch, and had the best eggs Benedict! Would definitely go back for other meals.
Enjoyed a fabulous dinner! Outstanding food. Quiet and romantic ambience. Exceptional service!!
The entree “roasted chicken” was amazing, tender meat, fabulous vegetables and unique sauces; seasoned just right. Large portion,?could be shared.
Definitely recommend and look forward to dinning at the Granada Bistro again.
Amazing food and drinks, perfect atmosphere! Will definitely come back
Brussels sprouts and salad were excellent, as was the roasted chicken main. Lamb burger came out lukewarm and undercooked. Was sent back and replacement was hot, but similarly undercooked. Servers were apologetic, at least. Very good cocktails, wine by the glass, and spirits available.
We stayed at the Granada & loved the experience. The restaurant was just so-so for us. I ordered the short ribs which were a bit over-salted for me & could have been served hotter. My husband had the ribs which were tasty & fell off the bone. Both our vegetables were unfortunately over done 🤷🏻♀️
Cute restaurant but wish offered more seafood items on the menu. We were sat at the table an hour past our reservation time and by the time we finally ordered dinner kitchen was out of the chicken! Food was good and so were the cocktails. My"shrimp" cobb salad was yummy and truffle fires were delicious.
We sat outside on the patio - lovely setting. Nice wine list with local options. Hummus starter very good, nice texture and flavor with roasted garlic pieces. We order Brussel sprouts a lot and really enjoyed the creativity in their version with goat cheese, dried cherries and mustard seed. My husband and I enjoyed the lamb burgers but they were medium not medium rare as the waitress said the chef recommends. Our daughter had the soba noodles and they were extremely spicy. She was hungry and tired so she choked them down but did not enjoy. It's a shame because the ingredients looked nice and fresh. We told the waitress and she said it depends on who's cooking and can the heat can be quite variable.
It is my favorite place to eat in SLO. Extremely delicious and wonderful atmosphere
Great food, great ambience with wonderful staff & exceptional service. Truly enjoyed our first experience having brunch there. Price is very reasonable.
Will definitely be recommending and going back there when in town.
Wine choices all expensive, could use some lower price points.
They were out of the first two things I asked for, but other than that everything was very good. The waiter was new to the job it seemed yet was accommodating
great food and service! luca was very helpful too :)
Generally Granada is one of my favorite places in SLO: great service, great food, nice atmosphere. With the paucity of good brunch options, this is a regular place for my husband and I.
This week brunch service wasn't so good. We had deviled eggs to start, which lacked seasoning, acid, or much flavor. I ordered hot black tea (which I've ordered many time), which got a blank look, and I was then brought four bulk bags of tea by my server to show me what they had (which was quite odd). All were herbal. A simple "we are out of black tea at the moment" would have sufficed.
Our mains were good, the the side portions were quite small (I counted 9 tiny strips of fried plaintain on my plate). It was delicious, but I was left wondering if they were running out in the kitchen.
The last dinner meal I ate there was also not very satisfying. I had the 'spring fettucine pasta', which was overcooked and just kind of a heavy mess in terms of the plate and flavors.
I know restaurants are struggling right now for lots of reasons. I really like Granada and have been a fan since they've opened and want them to continue to be a great place for a delicious meal. I want that to continue to be the case.
Excellent food. Service was slow but very friendly. I suspect that they are understaffed like most restaurants are today. Worth the wait.
One of the best restaurants in SLO, they have amazing food!
Outdoor dining. Lovely atmosphere, great food and presentation. Our server was terrific!
Just a really nice place for a bite and a drink. Is quiet enough to talk and still have a good time with friends.
Margarita, Brussel Sprouts, Truffle Fries, Chicken pasta were delicious ! Not so much with the Ribs & Baked Beans.
Fantastic service, creative menu and plenty of exploration available. Recommend for couples and small gatherings off good friends. Wine list was fun to choose from. Would go back esp. staying at the property hotel.
This was our second visit with exactly the same meals and the ribs were dry and Brussel sprouts served with a spoonful of raw garlic over them that was over powering! The hummus was great but the naan, a little over cooked & greasy. Service was great but food wise I think it was just an off night! We also asked for our beans to be wrapped for take away and did not receive them.
Was disappointed with their lamb burger:
Over cooked so very dried even with side ingredients
