As always....amazing food, service, ambiance, and drinks. Favorite place in SLO!
Beautiful night in outdoor garden. Heat lamps provided comfortable atmosphere. More menu items gave lots of choices. The cauliflower soup was excellent as was the Shrimp appetizer. The beet salad with carrots was also delicious. Can’t wait til next time.
As always the food and cocktails are great
Lovely al fresco dining! Delicious food and great service! We’ll be back!
Lovely outdoor evening, great service and excellent food!
Wonderful spot to eat outside in these Covid times. Beautiful setting and creative menu. Very good Central California wine list!
Great experience and great service. Exceptional!
Great ambiance and we had an AMAZING server. Wish I remembered his name, but he doubled as a bartender and really knew his stuff. Food was okay, but everything else made up for it! Will be back.
Thank you for your kind words and valued feedback! We are so glad that you enjoyed the ambiance and the experience! I will make sure to share your response with our team. We appreciate your business and I certainly look forward to welcoming you back again! Best Regards, Jason Lisenby Food and Beverage Manager
Was a lovely dining experience. Food and cocktails were wonderful, and the wait staff was great.
Not sure if the hostess for the weekend was new, but a few times we had odd interactions. I don’t think she let our waitress know we were there, which resulted in our waitress not greeting us for 10-15 min, which she was super apologetic for, but totally wasn’t her fault. Another time we were grabbing drinks in the terrace area (we were told was for hotel guests only, which we were). Same hostess sat a table, took their beverage order, then as we asked if we could also grab drinks from her she told us she’d send over our waiter (the waiter never came). :/
Not a big deal, and we had a lovely time all weekend overall, but figured I’d share the experience.
Thank you for your valued feedback and for sharing with us some of your interactions and shortcomings. It sounds like we may have missed some opportunities in your service. I apologize and would love to welcome you back to Granada Hotel and Bistro in the near future to guarantee you a seamless experience. Best, Jason Lisenby Food and Beverage Manager
Service was fantastic food was delicious
I can't thank you enough for your glowing review. We are truly delighted to hear you enjoyed everything during your visit and your response will be shared with the staff. We certainly appreciate your business! I hope you were able to try our Peanut Butter Pie! It is so good!
The ambiance of the terrace was nice however the service was not great and neither was the food. My wife ordered the Lamb Bolognese ($26) and it tasted like unseasoned ground meat with a splash of sauce. I ordered the Tablas Creek lamb burger which was a little dry. The service was subpar in the sense that my water glass sat empty the entire time and the appetizer plates weren’t cleared until our dinner plates were cleared.
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your experience at Granada Hotel and Bistro. Patio is always pleasant. The patio has always been one of my favorite places to dine on a pleasant day. The ambiance at Granda Bistro patio is perfect. Service was top notch with pleasant staff. Food was yummy, portions are not huge here but everything is always fresh. Recommend this location to anyone wanting a pleasant relaxing meal and cocktail.

Great patio dining area. Wonderful service. And the food was just amazing! We had the mussels, Caesar salad, mushroom risotto and the hangar steak. Everything was excellent. Made a perfect manhattan as well. We will definitely go back
The meal was delicious. The cocktails were amazing. The dessert was to DIE for.
We are local to the area and this is our go-to 'date night' restaurant. Fantastic food, the best mixed drinks in town, classy service, and intimate ambiance.
Best music of any restaurant in the area. Incredible service with very attentive staff. Food and cocktails alone are reasons 1 & 2 to experience the Bistro.
What a jewel of a place! Lovely outdoor terrace where we had a 3-course, well thought out Thanksgiving dinner. Service was impeccable from our entrance to dessert. They even called ahead to warn us about dining outside and the turkey supply problem. Food was very good. Highly recommend this bistro if you're in SLO.
Vibes were there, the food was alright, I got the barbecue chicken. It was a tad bit dry. 10/10 service and love the style of the place.
great food, service and ambiance. accommodated our running late for our reservation.
Hey guys. I know things are tricky with Covid, so I am writing this to you privately, but boy have things fallen down at Granada Bistro since our last visit. We arrived on time foe our reservation and checked in only to have you list us as a “no show” with Open Table. While we appreciate your social distancing attempts, it still felt a little to close to be back to back (even with the plastic partition between the two-tops, and across from a larger party. Our waiter was nice enough, but pretty much messed up our whole order; from only giving us one order of deviled eggs, to giving us the wrong entree salad, to offering us salmon for the salad but not explaining that it was Hey guys. Plus, the place was kind of dirty...very dusty. Sorry to have to be a downer, but hope this is taken to heart going forward. I only want your business to succeed in these tough times. I would welcome your response.
Went here for an anniversary dinner and it was the perfect spot! The waiters were super friendly and courteous. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet spot with nice ambiance.
We had a wonderful experience at Granada top to bottom. The COVID procedures in place felt safe but reasonable. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. My meal (the salmon) was especially delicious and all elements were cooked to perfection. This was our first visit but we will definitely come again.
perfect private table outside. The waiter Jacob was excellent. Helped make the evening special. I think the wine was expensive but that's common .
Loved the ambiance and the drinks!!!
Loved the Ahi Tuna soba noodles dish. Amazing ! My husband had the Cubani sandwich and said it was delicious. The wines where fantastic.
Great overall. Just didnt need our entree immediately after our appetizer came .
Service was very poor. Seeing people get the orders taken before we had our drinks is never appealing. Portion size was decent depending which entree you had but overall the taste was excellent. Furthermore, I had to talk to the bartender and hotel front desk before I could be seated. Ambience was great but overall service was not.
Granada Bistro has decided to no longer offer their beloved eggs Benedict with corn bread. There were others in the outdoor patio requesting this item for brunch - just like us - and they too were declined. They were not happy. We were not happy.
Service was barely fair. It was 11:00am on Sunday morning - perhaps (she) just didn’t feel like being at work at that time of day. The Bistro is a wonderful place - make sure the face that is presented to the customers is the same.
Great oysters and salmon. Steak was underwhelming.
Birthday celebration- good food lovely ambiance and great service
Server had no personality. Seemed nervous and impersonal. It could have been one of her first serving shifts, but our food came out correct, that is what is most important.
As far as food quality. Steak was tough and couldn’t be cooked to rare or med rare due to the chef’s recommendation...so it came out medium, leaning to med-rare. Either way, I like my steaks cooked closer to rare. Flavor was good but I stopped eating it because the work to get through it wasn’t worth it.
Appetizers were delicious; however, very minimal for what you pay for.
Drinks were good and strong. No issues there.
Overall the check for two meals, two apps, a couple drinks, and dessert needed up being over $200 before tip. It was a bday celebration, no discount or cute dessert. Little things go along way. It amazes me how a $1 ice cream and a candle can add to an experience that some restaurants fail to do.
Looking at the bill, the amount of food, the quality of everything, and the ambiance, there are much better places to go in SLO or Pismo overlooking the ocean.
Will not return for dinner, I may check them out in a casual setting for lunch to see what that is about.
Awesome people and place. We happened to have a bad experience where the food took forever and then it was cold. But they were really nice about making it up to us. I do recommend this place overall.
i had the best dinner here. service was attentive and the absolute best stone fruit salad I have ever tasted
Birthday Lunch
Our family of five had a fantastic dinner here. The cocktails, fries, brussel sprouts, pasta, steak and bread pudding were all so delicious. Our kids were asking if we could return the following night!
Perfect experience! Our server even included a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. One of our favorite restaurants and we will be back very soon.
Great experience overall amazing food as well as the bistro itself was gorgeous
Wonderful place, delicious food and excellent service!
The eggs Benedict were outstanding. My husband had the Cubano and he said it was delicious. Our friends enjoyed their selection tins also. They had a DJ that was playing excellent music. We will return....
My GF and I are on vacation from SF. We decided to try this restaurant out near our hotel.
The wait staff was super friendly and helpful from seating, dinner to walk around staff.
The food was fantastic. The yellow tail dinner and appetizer were amazing, so was the claims, so was the lamb pasta.
Overall great little dinner spot!
