Excellent food and service.
After debating between a few places for graduation brunch I chose Granada Bistro. I absolutely made the right choice. Everything was fantastic. Very relaxed, didn’t feel crowded or rushed and the food was amazing. Definitely will return.
Fantastic Ambiance, exceptional food, good service. Highly recommend 👍👍👍
My Family and I love the Bistro, both for Dinner and Sunday Brunch! They have a creative Menu and the food and drinks are outstanding. We are excited to check out the late night bar that is fairly new. We are in SLO every few Months to visit our Daughter at Cal Poly. The Granada is a great spot!
Delicious and creative seasonal menu, great wine list and cocktails, lovely setting. All in the heart of historic San Luis Obispo. Lovely all around!
Really enjoyed great food and service
This place was fantastic! Excellent food, Brussels Sprouts were amazing. The Bucatini to die for...and the Chocolate peanut butter Pudding? Heaven!!!! Service was fabulous and the drinks were top notch! Will definitely be coming back at my next visit to SLO!
Had fun grabbing brunch with our friend who was visiting from SoCal for work. Food tasty as always, but just a little off: poached eggs were cooked through...they looked beautiful though! See image below 🌞
The service was incredibly slow. We waited almost an hour for our main course. We were given a free beer while we waited but even so it kind of ruined the experience having to wait so long in a restaurant that was not full. When it arrived the food was delicious.
The service was very good. The meal was ok not great. The pasta dish was not very flavorful. The 3 meats were overwhelming - too much for an appetizer and not really a dinner choice. Caesar was bland.
Everything was great. Our first time and we all enjoyed. Food was very good and well presented. Two minor issues included a slightly underdone scallop and cake cutting charge, which seemed a bit much.
We do plan to return because overall we had a very enjoyable evening
The Granada was very accommodating for our larger group, given the outside rain! They set us up inside and we had a lovely meal. The food and drink is always outstanding at the Granada Bistro.
We bring every guest who visits us from the East Coast to brunch at Granada, and it's always perfect! ☕😀👍
Great food with a creative menu; a wonderfully-crafted wine list, good beer selection, and full bar; and a comfortable and interesting setting. The service was great.
Best Charcuterie in SLO. Super service.
EVERYTHING WAS GREAT, WE ALWAYS ENJOY YOUR DINING, ONLY WE HAD NO COVERAGE, OR SHOULD I SAY SHADE DINING OUTSIDE. OUR TABLE WAS IN THE SUN. OTHER THAN THAT, WAS GREAT AND ALL SIX HAD A WONDERFUL BRUNCH
I had a wonderful Mother's day brunch out on the patio! We definitely did not all need to get the prix fixe menu as it was more food than we could eat, and we all love to share. Everything was delicious!
Great food and service! The patio is very nice, but you are practically seated with other people as the tables are so close together.
Perfect meal and perfect service. Ask to sit on the patio.
Our waiter was very nice, but the women who brought out our dinners was a cool breeze...
Overall score of 8.5 out of 10.0
AMAZING!! Order the Brussel sprouts
A small gem in downtown SLO. This bistro has a full bar, indoor and outdoor dining, great food and wonderful service. The menu is always interesting with many yummy choices. Many dishes are sharable in size if you can't make up your mind or just want a variety. The charcuterie plate they have is amazing and generous. A great start to a meal or perfect if you just want cocktails and a nibble. It has olives, almonds, meats, cheeses, honey comb, and fresh bread. A delightful spread. I have the mussels last night and they were fantastic. A large bowl of them was a perfect meal after the charcuterie plate.
The bar is also great with a nice selection of their own cocktails to choose from. This is a nice intimate space where you can have a romantic dinner or a relaxed meal with friends or family.
Great knowledgeable staff!
We reserved outdoor seating for 10am brunch and it was cooler than expected. We were offered indoor seating but chose to sit by the cozy fire pit which provided all the heat we needed. Crab benedict was one of their specials and was exceptional~ Wait staff very friendly and accommodating. Love the ambiance, all dishes and mimosas were great! Will definitely visit again on our next trip to SLO.
Nicest staff. Genuine. Kind. Professional. Really added to the experience. Beautiful interior.
A good place for foodies. Menu is somewhat limited. Ceasar salad was outstanding as was hanger steak.
Great atmosphere and food, except my panini burnt a little, I was in a rush, so I ate it and it was fine.
Thanks for being great!
Can’t go wrong with Granada Bistro. The food has an amazing amount of flavor and will leave you feeling so satisfied. The dim lighting is also very comfortable and appetizing.
Just moved to SLO and this has become my go to restaurant. Have visited several times and no one has been disappointed. Great food, service and setting. Can’t wait to go back.
Everything was wonderful - great food, amicable service, lovely ambiance in patio dining area.
Loved it! Great food and service, the ambience was really nice!
I loved the Roasted California, pickles and Halibut with Fava Beans and Quinoa Crust. It was absolutely delicious and I'd order it every day!
Super meal and service. Sat outside so we could hear each other. The inside is way too loud for us!
Lovely ambiance. Good food. Inviting and friendly staff. Only drawback is we waited a long time for our food but the staff kept coming and checking on us and updating us about when we would receive it so they were fully aware of the situation and handling it like pros. It was a nice date night.
Small dining area which also includes a shared table as well as individual tables. Enjoyed the bass on interesting setting of vegetables. French Press coffee is excellent. Service was prompt and pleasant.
Fantastic little restaurant. Seating is limited so make reservations. Hostess couldn’t find our reservation, so I showed it to her on my phone. She wasn’t very nice or polite about it. Our server was awesome, though. Will definitely return. Get the Caesar salad!
We have been to Granada many times. The server, Tanya, was excellent! The meat was ordered as “medium” and it was raw in many areas...
It just seemed that the service was really slow. However as soon as we where finished they were grabbing our plates and everything else faster than we could take our last bite or sip.
We were sat outside on a cold blustery day and then told the heaters weren’t working. Inside was absolutely deafening loud. We ended up staying outside, the server brought us blankets (!). Not only was it cold, it was dark. I had to use my phone flashlight to see the menu! The appetizers came, black blobs in the dark. Entrees were the same. I had no idea if I was sticking my fork into steak or potato. This was the last night of our vacation, and a huge disappointment.
We had Sunday brunch. When we arrived, the weather seemed fine so we opted for a table on the patio. It was a very pleasant space and the heaters did a nice job of taking the chill off.
It did start to rain just before we were served our food. The staff was amazingly quick at ushering us into the building and seating us at the long communal table, which was fine.
We order a couple of different versions of eggs Benedict and the Brunch Burger (with ham, cheese and a fried egg). All were very good, although the poached eggs on the Benedicts were undercooked and very runny.
Our brunch cocktails were very good, including the “zero proof” cocktails.
Our server was efficient and friendly.
