Gram & Dun brings culinarily-driven fare, while paying special attention to pairing food with libations. It's a place “for the people” where we can relax and enjoy the neighborhood vibe while we test theories of food, drink and the evolution of good times.View Private Dining Details
Usually G&D can be pretty loud, but the food and drinks are always amazing, if not a little spendy. We went on a Monday night before a movie and were treated to great service and a quieter dining room. I've always been a fan of this place, but this was the best time I've had so far.
The duck was so good!
We took our married son and his wife here for a special treat . They live in NYC and thought the meal was very nice, and our server, Megan was a delight. She was helpful and very upbeat. She paced the meal so we had lots of time to visit. The butters with the twisted bread were delicious as were the onion dumplings. We appreciated the atmosphere as it was possible to have a conversation without loud music. The hanger steak, lamb chops, and burnt ends mac and cheese were specially yummy. Although we live 45 minutes away, we will definitely be back.
A friend and I went to Gram & Dun for late night appetizers and a glass of wine. We shared a small charcuterie plate and Gram & Dun’s delicious homemade potato chips. Scrumptious! Splitting the bill, it came to $30 each (this is including gratuity). I would love to come back on a warm evening to enjoy the patio seating.
Our server from Kenya was wonderful and very happy. The food was below par. The scallops were chewy and very fishy tasting. The fish was nothing to write home about. Our friends ordered the Gnocchi and the Chicken and Waffles. The Gnocchi was so rich, she could not finish it.
We did like the specialty drink menu as well as the cozy ambiance.
Was not impressed with the food at all. I got the chicken and waffles, was told it came with a breast and a thigh, the breast was a little bigger then a chicken finger and the thigh looked like it came from a Cornish game hen. My wife got the "burnt end" mac & cheese. That was more like pot roast cubes with some BBQ sauce on them and it wasn't very cheesy. Was not impressed with the food at all, especially for the price, $22 a meal. The server was more interested in her table of 10, then she was with me and my wife. Will never go back and definitely wouldn't recommend to anybody I know.
Great Saturday brunch, loved the bread basket! Their Bloddy Mary's are delicious! Love to go there when visiting KC.
Awesome experience as usual!
Service was great and the food was, as usual, excellent.
As usual, the experience at Gram and Dun did not disappoint. Appetizer was fast and tasty, main course was delicious and paired perfectly, and the dessert was delightful. The service is second to none that I have experienced; prompt, but in no way rushed.
It was amazing
Had a great time ! Service was great and food was delish ! We will be back soon !
I came here for Valentine's Day with my SO. Great atmosphere and great food. Some of the dishes are a bit pricey for what you get (the Burnt End Mac and Cheese, while delicious, was very light on the burnt ends and fairly expensive for a pasta dish), but overall we had an excellent dinner.
At the time of writing there are many gluten-free entree options for celiac patrons, but your dessert options will be limited to just ice cream. Given the wide array of glutenous desserts available, this was a little disappointing.
They sat us at the worst possible table in the restaurant. It was right next to the stand where they put back menus and the servers were ringing in orders and waiting for drinks from the bartender to bring out. This was where all the servers stood and gossiped about customers. We could hear every word. Super rude. But our server was great and our food was wonderful. Next time I would make them sit me somewhere else.
Not our first visit - nor our last. Always enjoy the experience.
